I have open bite myself ( front open-bite ), i when "Dr Smile" here in Europe. They promise they could get it fix, but couldn't fix my open-bite after a year of treatment. I went to University Training Hospital who is layed out a plan on how to fix my open-bite.
I have this so my orthodontist had me on braces but after 6 months, my bite is still open. Recently diagnosed with TMJ and now I don’t really know what’s going on 😅
Can this be treated without braces? I had braces long ago, and now i started have open bite on the left side. It is probably because of my tongue but also my jaw structure
Hello Dr, My teeth are straight but I have overjet .Aslo both upper and lower teeth are sticking forward. My orthodontist suggested me to have 4 premolar teeth extraction.That's not a problem for me. The problem is I need to move to other country after extraction and I need to be there for 8 months. Unfortunately, I could not make sure yet that the orthodontists in other country are willing to continue the braces treatment. I would like to know what can happen to the space of extracted teeth in case if I could not manage to continue the braces treatment in the other country. Will the teeth be shifting ? Can you please suggest me would be the best idea for my case?I am 30 year old. Thank you for your time. Best regards,

How do you manage retention in a case like this/does the habit return in adults?
There is always a small chance it can return but continuing to wear your retainer as recommended should avoid this. Hope this helps!
