Pretty amazing result. Going through this procedure + double jaw surgery myself, but couldn't find a lot of examples of canine substitution online. Thanks for sharing!
Wow, amazing amazing amazing! I am currently undergoing Invisalign treatment (2 years in April. My issues were protrusion and spacing. Severe on the bottom. The thing is, the front row teeth on the bottom aren’t completely in. I am wondering if I should ask my orthodontist about shaving. I mentioned my concern to her and the only option she came up with was teeth removal which she does not recommend (which I have no problem with).

Thanks for the video. Has the canine tooth also had a veneer? My son's ortho is suggesting pulling out the incisor that he has as it is too narrow and crooked to match up with the canine on the other side. I can't work out how you changed that canine unless it has a veneer or porcelain?? As it looks, so good. Please let me know as my son would love that result. Thank you!!
Amazing but one thing confused me as I have something similar, my canine grew in place of my lateral just like hers but after my canine is a small space then my 1st molar. I also hv a peg lateral on the other side but the canine is perfectly in place. From this vid it looks like her 1st molar (on the side of the missing tooth ) resembles the canine on the other side
Did you use rubber band only on the right side or both left and right sides? And why? Just wondering how you can the upper teeth move to the left without the lower teeth moving to the right. Thanks!
Speechless, how long was this particular treatment? I can't wait for my treatment to be over. (I have a deep bite condition) I hear taboo about canines' teeth but can't confirm it. Thank you!

Hello. I wore 4 cross elastics and after i finished with cross elastics i developed spaces. Im wearing triangle elastics but those spaces are not closing.
My dentist wants to do a palate expander to fix my cross bite. I’m. 33 and just started with my braces a few days ago. Is there a way to request the rubber bands instead of the expander?

No offence. But just curious to know what kind of bite this doctor has. Mouth looks twisted. Can that be corrected? If so why you did not go for treatment? Or is that result after treatment?

Hy! I've some questions 😁, i have an under bite and my dentist said that i need to extract 2 premolars to fix it and im scared a bit, will it cause my jaw bone to breakdown? Will it cause my face to sag or give me a tired look? Or ruin my profile or make my face flat? I have a long face. Im a 16 y\o. I sorry for asking so many questions but I'm really worried i dont wanna look ugly. I would be really happy if you give me some advises. Thank you❤️
My orthodontist gave me that option too but she said that it will mess with your profile. Maybe you should look into closing the gaps and getting jaw corrective surgery? Idk I’m not an orthodontist

Wish i lived in america to get my teeth sorted , mine are fooked , struggling to get tge best advice on what to do , mine are crooked , mid line off by 3to4mm ,crossbite on 1 side with a lateral incisor missing , 😢

@@fictionaddiction4706 yes I do, the health care in the UK is non existent you will wait years to have operations , you carnt get dental health care if gave to wait a minimum of 3 to 4 weeks for an emergency appointment, check ups are booked in months in advance it's awful believe me

My dentist is telling me that I have to do an implant and that canine substitution isn't an option. I don't want an implant. Can u say why my case is like that ? I have a missing lateral incisor on my left side, and a missing premolar three teeth away from my right lateral incisor. I also have a missing lower wisdom tooth on my right. All my teeth were already almost aligned. Please advise me.
My doctor choose the same course of action for my missing left lateral. I didn't have any space so I had to extract a premolar, move the canine laterally and create new space for the implant. It's a really long process but I didn't know any better and sometimes I regret that I had to loose a healthy premolar to get an implant.
So maybe you can ask the opinion of another doctor, if the canine substitution is available for your case.
@sundusfetian9427 he's saying I don't have enough bone there to do a substitution.... I will seek another opinion though.
My son is missing both his lateral incisors, he was told also not a candidate for shifting and will need implants. Now I jsjt found out our daughter is missing the same two teeth, her mouth is so crowded, wondering what advice they will give her
@@kitfisto6130 so sorry to hear this. My dentist said I don't have enough bone in the area to do the shift. But I'm wondering if they can do a bone graft and then shift.
