How many days does it take you to try a new skincare routine. Like say if I was had a skincare routine for about a month and didnt like it , could I just jump in straight away with a new skincare routine, like the next day? Or should I give my skin time to breathe before I start a new skincare routine?

@Kris R CeraVe is now paraben free.
You might see that as a plus; I don't. I'm a hobbyist cosmetic formulator, and my research convinces me parabens are safe and effective. I'm not trying to convince anyone else, as Cassandra says, "turn and learn".
However, when CeraVe removed the parabens, they completely reformulated. The Hydrating Cleanser, which my face loved, now stings, burns and squeaks - I had to return it. When I compared the ingredients with m old bottle, I saw they lowered the amounts of the ingredients my face liked and increased the ones I don't like. I'm trying to dupe the formula, no luck so far.

I wouldn’t use it in my face, but don’t mind it for my back. And I keep a tube of that horrid sunscreen in my car. Marshalls and TJ MAXX are awesome, but for anything you want specifically, I go with eBay. Of course you have to be mindful with any eBay purchase, check the country it's coming from, make sure it's not china, such as the ordinary and la roche posay products I ordered from WISH. Omg they were horribly fake. And check for expiration date in the listing, if there is none, but you're worried about it being old, you can email any skin care company and ask them to decipher ANY batch code. Most companies won't share HOW to read it but they will tell you if you're product is unsafe or not, even if it's after expiration. Some things can be used long after, such as cleanser's.

Dermasil has been around for a really long time. It used to be expensive and you could only get in pharmacies. It's pretty much the only decent thing at Dollar Tree. Some of the Bolero things aren't bad. I do like the skin polish for my legs and arms. I like their Facial gel too, it just smells nice and I use it more to relax than skin care, if that makes sense...lol. It's a sensory thing for me. :)

You can find under $5 skincare at Target, Walmart, and 5 Below. A lot of it is the drugstore skincare brands in mini travel sized containers.
However Walmart has its own exclusive skincare brands that do dupes/budget versions of popular products & trends (Equate, Cleen) and so does Target (Up & Up, Smartly) if you want to do a followup video talking about them. Dunno if they're cruelty free or not.

I grew up with Dermasil. It was used in hospitals, and Dr.s offices. If used regularly it will soften elbows and knees enough to lighten the rough knees children get from playing on asphalt. It was at one time expensive bit it's in the Dollar stores. This stuff can heal rough feer put it generously on then cover with sicks for at least an hour. It is best used on bare skin.

I was so worried for you during the first half of this video. I know a lot of companies private label and that there is a large markup in products. But that bring said there is so much crap out there. Things not made in good, clean factories. And a lot of countries don’t regulate ingredients (i.e. arsenic). Now, I don’t buy high end skin care, but I balance cost with what I’m looking for in my skincare.
