Honestly the fact that a brand this good exists and is this affordable shows that some brands are really inflating their prices just to drain their customers

i’d LOVE a vid where you break down what specific chemical peels you did to clear your acne / acne scars ! i’ve been using the ordinary’s aha bha peel for 6 months now, between that n the granactive retinoid 2% i’ve seen a HUGE difference in my acne, but i’m rlly thinking abt going to get a jesner peel or something more intense. my acne / acne scars look EXACTLY how your skin used to look, sourdough bread is such a good way to describe it 😭 your channel has seriously SAVED my skin ! i have hormonal acne, im on the birth control implant (that has helped a LOT) and im vegan, but even my mom who’s 50 still gets acne ! i’m 22 now, so ik it’s gon stick w me for a while. would just love to know specifically what chemical peels you did / would recommend :)

That salicylic acid anhydrous solution 2% saved my skin! I have extremely dry skin, but it’s also acne prone, and I had a lot of closed comedones. I tried so many BHA solutions and they wrecked my skin, even using only twice a week. This one cleared my skin in two months and I now use it 5 times a week, all over my face. I love it!

So the niacinamide is also wonderful for pores. I initially got it cuz i read somewhere it could help reduce sebaceous filaments and help oil control. I don’t think it did anything to help the sebaceous filaments but what it did do was reduce the appearance of my pores and every time i stray away from it i can see the difference in my skin. Also their 10% lactic acid serum is my holy grail. I like to mix it in with my thick night time moisturizer

Amazing! The Ordinary indeed still has some of the most iconic products on the market, and it‘s really nice to hear about them again. I‘ve been using the THERAMID Copper Peptide 3% and I have yet to find one that has a higher concentration of this pricy, active ingredient. I feel like you get a big bang for your buck with that one. Didn’t try TO‘s yet, because I believe it contains 1% Copper Peptides and costs almost the same. Thanks for filming and sharing this video with us Cassandra 🎊

Hey Cassandra, thank you for the informative video on the best ordinary products! I love the copper peptides, I use it every morning and it definitely works on plumping nicely the skin! I have been using the granactive retinoid emulsion for a week now and I do prefer it to the retinol 1% in squalane, as this doesn’t cause any irritation and it has a lovely milky texture.

Amazing! Lately many beauty gurus started to trash the ordinary after literally worshipping the brand , personally i dilute the ordinary products with a moisturizer bc it works best for me that way i guess the brand does it in purpose to give us concentrated products so that we make a mess ouf our skin thus pushing us to buy more and more products but over-all the ordinary products work you see results , comparing to expensive products i used to use that made 0 change and were too expensive , the ordinary did what no one else did give us the raw material with very clear informations and % and youre free to use it the way you like

I have been wondering what would happen to the skin IF we apply a thick layer of a casty ghosty mineral sunscreen like a mask for few hours or a whole day. I mean, zinc oxide have so much benefits for the skin when it comes to irritations, burns and cuts. So would the skin become brighter? Would be great to get this tested 😊

I've tried that exact Copper peptide and I believe I may have goofed. my skin took on a 'pink hue' on the cheek area (and I'm an olive toned gal) so I can only assume that I irritated my skin layering on other products. I may have to try it again.

Cool experience with the ordinary 2% granactive retinoid and 10% matrixyl. My mum wanted something for her wrinkles and was going to buy an expensive French cream that had this plant glue in it to tighten wrinkles. So I was like “if you want, but I know something that could give you better lasting results”. So we go to Priceline and we pick those 2 serums out, and she’s using them for the next few months with moisturiser (she refused to use sunscreen, I’m sorry I tried). And after 1 month the forehead wrinkles were completely gone, and her skin never dried out even while having pretty bad Rosacea. She did stop using the products and the results did fade, but that’s probably for the best since she refused to use sunscreen with it and summer was coming. And we live in Australia…

I love copper peptides! I’ve used a handful of them including the ordinary’s and niods. Now the whole thing about not being able to use them alongside vitamin or retinoids has been debunked. Dr Day here on RUclips who is a board certified dermatologist said you are more than ok to use copper peptides alongside retinoids. Rob from Mad about skin on Yt has also given information on being able to use peptides alongside vitamin c AND abbey young also here on yt gave the best word and proof why we can use peptides along vitamin c.

Ooooo I didn’t know The Ordinary had its own copper peptide! Was looking at the niod copper peptide line but it’s a bit on the pricy side for me.

Thank you for the very informative video, but as always I get overwhelmed and then don't know what to choose. Can I use the Niacinadi, buffet and multi copper in the same routine? I'm 60 years old with combination skin and melasma on the cheeks. Thank you 🙏🏽

Niacinimide should be used with care, it can give you a red flush.

I love their b oil. I might get my mom the copper peptide as she can't use hyaluronic acid and it's in literally everything now.

What happens when she uses hyaluronic? I've had a couple mystery red skin problems and am trying to track down the cause

@laurahall3094 at first nothing, but at she continues to use it or a skincare with it in it, her skin will start to look rough textured like it has no moisture and red/pink in areas.

I have very sensitive skin (can't use the granactive retinoids or aha bha peeling solution) but I absolutely love the sample biossance squalane and hylauronic acid copper peptide rapid plumping serum, despite its long name lol; I wonder if I'd be able to use the euk 134 0.1% antioxidant serum or multi peptide + ha serum? I'd like to try the multi peptide + copper peptide serum, but that's too expensive for me.

This isn’t necessarily the video to do this on but I need some advice 😭
I have heard again and again that as long as I take care of my skin and properly take my makeup off, wearing makeup (even daily) shouldn’t be bad for skin. Well… every time I wear makeup WITHOUT FAIL I break out within the time I wear it. And I RARELY wear it. I double, sometimes triple cleanse afterwards and I always do my skincare routines day and night. Help please 🙏
