      LOVE LOVE LOVE the valuable information you provided, and the hilarious way you deliver it! Thank you. Do you know of any sites which have the medicbue age r in stock, and authentic ones? I went to order the medicube age r device, but they are sold out on the official site. Amazon had some negative reviews regarding the item on amazon being a fake, and to get it directly from the manufacturer. Also, that the manufacturer will not cover defective medicube products if purchased on amazon.

    Just a word of warning - I experienced significant facial fat loss from using the Foreo Bear microcurrent device. Used as directed over approx 1 year. Volume loss has had a very prematurely ageing effect that has left me depressed (as I am only mid-thirties!). ZERO lift, ZERO collagen induction/reduction in fine likes/wrinkles, ZERO improvement of skin texture. Zero benefit essentially! Just flattened my face. Destroyed the fat in the buccal area, which has left me looking gaunt and increased the beginnings of sagging around the life. 1 year since discontinuing use and no fat has returned. Might not happen to everyone, but it's worth being aware that it is a risk that the manufacturers won't warn you about!

    When I turned 50, I decided to add some devices to my regimen. I use my FOREO Bear in the AM every day and my Mito IR Light panel every night. I have definitely noticed a change for the better; my skin is smoother, fine lines are diminishing, hyperpigmentation is diminishing, and the most unexpected but much desired effect: My upper lip has seemed to have stopped the age related thinning that had started. You definitely have to commit to using your devices on a strict schedule. Otherwise, you waste your money. Oh yes, I use a green tea serum before I use my MITO IR light panel too.

    Yes, yes! A gel video, please! By the way, I just bought myself a FOREO Bear last week and I can already see a difference on my 52 YO skin. You need to know some tips like a double click will turn on or turn off the TSonic and that the device will work without the app but only when both balls touch the skin. After that, you don’t need the app and can go freestyle.

      MC devices aren't proven to be useless, they are just only proven to help as long as u stay consistent + obviously if the signs of aging u r trying to combat come mostly from bone loss and on top of that u experienced a significant facial fat loss it can be not enough to have striking results. Regardless it cooould be stimulating collagen production(not yet established w certainty) & it definitely does a good job of stimulating muscles which makes facial muscle deterioration less apparent and can visibly fill up some of that muscle loss + since it's a massage tool it aids in lymph drainage. Def not for everyone and not the most life-changing but nice to have. For "life-changing" effects there are other treatments

    I'm a beauty and laser therapist, and I would just recommend some of the more powerful settings and professional machines that people look up a chart of muscle facial anatomy.
    Just as when I was training, I saw a few mishaps with people stimulating the muscles in an incorrect procedure.
    (Example pulling the muscles down instead of up)
    Like I rate this over botox and filler as it's not as invasive (it does wear off after a week or two if not done regularly)
    Also, you can grab conducter gel in big 2L bottles from beauty supply stores.
    I did have one many years ago that was very powerful and as such you couldn't wear any jewellery while using it also had to make sure you had no metal present in the body ( I think as it was also an ion and galvanic all in one machine)
    But maybe also be careful with that?

    Thanks for covering this topic, it's a difficult item to shop for confidently. When looking for devices of this kind of Amazon I noticed there's a LOT of bullshit. I notice there are many that are priced in the "too good to be true" range and somehow have an excellent rating. When I actually looked at the reviews that are supposed to reflect the excellent rating, there are far fewer reviews than ratings, for one, and most of them don't at all sound like they're for the product listed....in fact, not even for the same type of product at all. So buyer beware!

Just one the physical size attributes, I like my NuFace for my jaw line and neck, but the TheraFace for cheeks/forehead. I DON’T like the TheraFace gel. Trying out the LED. The percussive attachments are nice, I found it was wonderful on my sore hands- I used the heat attachment and the pointed percussive for an amazing massage that really helped the pain.

    Hi Cassandra, a lot of influencers like beauty over 40 talked about how the medicube device is EMS and EMS actually depletes ATP and doesnt encourage ATP like microcurrent thus. Research has also shown that EMS is too harsh to be used on the face and though it slims your face quite immediately it may not be good for the long term. Could we get your thoughts on this? THanks

    • @jayedwardsuk5984
      @jayedwardsuk5984 Год назад +24

      The depletion of ATP isn't a ton and can quite easily be topped back up with Microcurrent after an EMS treatment. You obviously dont use EMS on the face as frequently as you would Microcurrent. So the amount of ATP depletion due to EMS use isn't exactly going to be significant or be a cause for concern.
      I think there is too much misinformation on the depletion of ATP being an issue regarding EMS for the face, considering our body also reproduces and replenishes ATP by itself quiet quickly.
      I personally do EMS facials once a week and MC during the same week. I also go on the frontalis muscle at a low setting for an eye brow / lid lift.

    • @JeanieD
      @JeanieD Год назад

      I have experience using the Trinity LED head, if you’re interested. It has the correct wavelength to benefit your skin as much as some of the best LED masks on the consumer market, but it’s much less convenient because you can only do a small section at a time. So, if you are not willing to invest at least 21 minutes per session - more if you want to do your entire face, not just 7 small sections (as opposed to 10 minutes or less for a full-face mask), you won’t use it consistently and therefore, won’t get the benefit. Also, I haven’t had great experience with the reliability of the Trinity LED heads - after trying 2 different units, and having the LED head malfunction on both, I gave up and am just going to wait until I can afford the LED mask I’ve seen the most reliable recommendations for.

    Hey Cassandra, I began doing some looking into microcurrent devices as I consider getting one. While researching other videos were suggested such as Beauty Beyond 40 "AGE R Device Discussion - Microcurrent or EMS?"
    According to her the medicube is EMS and not Microcurrent. She also mentioned they are different, microcurrent shouldn't cause intense muscle twitching, and that the two are not the same (she additionally mentions input she received from esthetician/professionals). She then showed the medicube AGE-R box and pointed that EMS is on front of the box and does not mention microcurrent.
    I love watching your videos and would really love your input on what she is saying.

      The Medicube is EMS. Microcurrent and EMS are two different modalities and work/stimulate different levels in the skin, in simple terms. Penn Smith also has some great ACCURATE info on the Medicube device. Which is A great device but not meant to be used in the same way As microcurrent. I've seen this topic brought up OVER AND OVER here and unfortunately it's never addressed.

So give yourself some love and laugh whenever you get a chance. Whether you found the right microcurrent here or not remaining positive and making a little time for yourself can make a huge difference. Some of my tips: Start with a prayer, faith decreases stress levels in our lives, give it all to God and let go. 2. Exercise in the morning and listen to your favorite music in the shower. 3. A little face massage with two cold spoons or a fancy device whatever your budget, while you watch your favorite show or listen to your favorite podcast in the evening, 4. Make it a routine: cleansing and toning your skin twice a day and using sunscreen, eating healthy and drinking water. All these little things can make a huge difference. Take care of yourselves guys. A healthy mind and spirit is balanced with a healthy body.

Either the botox is wearing off in certain areas faster than the rest of my forehead, or the physician didn’t think it through where she was injecting. I want to start over and remove all the Botox. If you want to try a serum, Selfless by Hyram's mandelic acid serum also has salicylic acid, so you get a gentle AHA for your dry skin and a little BHA for your closed comedones.
      BHA is better for closed comedones. You might also try The Ordinary Anhydrous Salicylic Acid serum so you can treat the comedones without drying out your skin.

Try to look for products labelled non comedogenic even look at the ingredients. I was using a moisturiser and during that time i got those a lot so I checked the ingredients list there was shea butter in it but was labelled as non comedogenic. And don’t exfoliate a lot. Hope this helps.
