hey, i know this might get lost in the sea of comments but i want to share my skincare routine as it was the only thing that finally cleared up my acne after trying everything. as well as other things i did.
my skin type is sensitive and dehydrated
    my routine:
    - wash face with warm water (my skin doesn’t like ANY cleanser)
    - Vitamin C serum from the inkey list
    - Lancer dehydrated-sensitive moisturiser
and that’s it. i used to have like a 10 step routine that involved all kinds of eye creams, cleansers, oils and such. but it made my acne 10 times worse. so i went down to just the simple things.
i realised my skin hates cleansers so i opted just for plain water and then focus on hydrating my skin.
    other things i did:
    - when showering not to use really hot water on face
    - Face massages to help the blood flow
    - Drank as much water as possible
    - Ate more greens
    and that’s it.
i wish clear skin to you all.

I was unfortunately guilty of using that exact Neutrogena face wash. The commercials looked so enticing because it made washing your face look like a magical moment. As if unicorns would fly around me as I splashed a garden hose amount of water on my face lol. I’m still recovering from the damage I did to my skin and I just turned 35 😩

Cassandra, Cassandra, Cassandra... yes, eye creams moisturize, but they also have ingredients to relieve dark circles such as arnica, or to treat puffiness. Also retinol in a night eye cream is great too for thickening the dermis and treating crows feet. I wouldn't put full strength retinol for my face around my eye, as they're just too sensitive. Not all eye products are the same, just like every butterfly is different. But I agree, if the eye cream isn't treating something specific like puffiness, dark circles, crows feet, then just use a light, easily absorbed moisturizer. XOXO

This routine kind of just shows how some people just get stuck in their ways and don't look to new evidence or innovation to improve. You can really tell that she's still clinging to the habits of the 2000s with the overexploitation and stripping ingredients. I'm having flashbacks to my pretend years of harsh cleansers, scrubs, witch hazel and no moisturiser just thinking about it

Looking at it, it has a lot of fragrance which doesn't bother everyone but there are a number of them. It also has a vit c derivative that Dr Idriss has said is unstable and a waste of money.

I have used a Clarisonic for over 10 years. I only use it occasionally , but I used to use it daily. I change the brush regularly. When the doctor commented that I had no blemishes at all, told him that I used it, and he said good. He thought it was great. I have blessed with good skin, (thanks Mom) and I have used almost no foundation, and never have. My husband bought me a new one for Christmas with several brushes. I was so thrilled. Kristen herself, along with her husband Dax Shepard, is respected for being pretty down to earth and "real". But, beyond that -- how is it that all you knew her for was the Neutrogena "Splash"?
