I love this. It makes me feel really good; especially, because I live in a place that we don't ever see snow during the holidays and when we do it's a once-in-a-blue-moon kinda thing. Thanks for uploading this dude. ❤
Thanks for the vid. Great info. My signal has been hit or miss, but good enough to watch TV. 94+ signal. Then it quit all together. 775 code. After all basic checking/resetting/testing, noticed my green swm light dim and flickering. Unhooked cable from lnb and came on solid. Thanks to ur video I confirmed prob have a short in my cable.
Thanks for this ... But you know it's funny, from the camera angle on the dish it really looks as though there is only one coax twin pair (or two individual coax cables) coming out the LNB support arm. Which can't be right of course for feeding SWiM-16 multiswitches. That require two twin pairs (or four individual coax cables) from a four outlet legacy (or non-SWiM type) LNB.
What do you do if your receiver keeps restarting? The blue light and the record lights flash every time before it restarts. Once it's done restarting the channels pop up but so does a record bar, the lights flash and in a few seconds it restarts again.

Did you make the Video for aligning your Dish?
Yes

Yes sir. I just have the two coax pairs zip tied together. Feeding 4 power passing splitters that feed both swm16s

Swap the receiver with a new one.
Hey what you think of uverse TV? And good dtv tips man knowledge is power Haha
What DirecTV questions do you have? Uverse is good. Not great. I dont think it compares to Xfinity X1 platform though.
What if you have two Directv Receivers, but only one is getting the code 771...where would you start to troubleshoot this scenario?
Same channel on both one is getting error code and the other is good? Start at the bad receiver and work your way back to the splitter.
Sky tv saying no input
Dammm
u need to update your dish
