I’m wanting to move the tv in my living room from one wall to the other wall across from it. There’s a cord for the hopper to connect to I have tried to before and I couldn’t get the signal to connect so what would be my problem anybody now?
We have a Hopper 3 issue (16 tuner model with Sling). Under Switch Status, 110 Satellite says "conn" and has red X's instead of green checkmarks. We have great signal strengths on 119 and 129 and our local channels (NW WA) are coming in in SD (so won't record Primetime programming). We have changed LNB's, cables and connectors with no luck getting the Hopper 3 to recognize satellite 110, even after doing Switch Status Checks several times, both plugged in and not. We have also directly connected the cable to the Hopper 3, bypassing RV's internal wiring. DISH technical support tried to help us over the phone, having us try different changes and tests. We have it in our RV so DISH won't support us in the field, even though they installed it in here for us in 2015 when we decided to RV full-time. Any ideas? Do we need to buy a new Hopper 3? It all worked 3 days ago... Is there a way to get our Hopper 3 tested?
@@starzy7774 Thanks. I'm west coast so 110 is local channels. We had a tech come out and it was a small dent in the satellite dish that we just bought. And, the connectors in the dish and LNB's were not high quality so he switched them out. We purchased a high quality HDMI cable to help him out. The picture is much crisper; however, it's darker even after changing picture settings. We're used to it, now. Thank goodness we finally got service and don't need to switch carriers.
One of my lil boxes isn’t working all the other ones in house work fine ? Any ideas?
A plug tester? Really? It was working before you nut. Even reverse polarity would usually work on simple systems

Kill hopper and replace hopper with another hopper
you need to switch the LNB to EA 1000.2 hybrid because locals in HD is the 61.5 satellite

Why does my my Joey keep telling to unplug and plug back in. At least once a week I cannot get a picture until I do.
The power button on the remote does not control the Hopper. Everything else seems to work.
Push the button or it will reboot or reset the DVR ?!
