This band is the reflection of prodigious bygone era, it's a phantom asteroid that returns to set its sights on sound art. A prodigious wave charged with paradoxes from which escape the magic, enthusiasm and irrationality, hypnotic factors challenging vulnerable souls in search of the absolute. His musical architecture is a short tunnel that leads to light 🦨
You sir, are a poet. Beautifully said!
@@SurfingTheSoundwaves 🤠
@@SurfingTheSoundwavesYes,that as i was!😅😊😂❤
His? Theirs! Prodigious? You needed one more.
Totally got an ad that featured a guy named Eugene. RUclips, you're officially trying too hard.
Lime and limpid green the sound surrounds the icy waters underground
Thanks for posting them. Fabulous
Good time for you
Brilliant album cover ❤
It's just a cheap copy of Umma Gumma
@@rickwilliams967 I know what it is. I still adore it
Very nice of you to Play.
I was born in March 1969. Pink Floyd were recording this album at the time. I 'ordered' it for my Christmas present from my parents in 1977! I've still got the copy!
Nice. I was born in 67. We missed a great Era of music bro
@@James-jb5ls We certainly did! I remember getting Ummagumma and listening to it with my Dad and my brother on my Uncle's new hi-fi. Christmas Day 1977. Uncle Bernard: 'You'll pollute my hi-fi with that!' he said with a grin! His sons were Pink Floyd fans as was my Dad and brother. Uncle Bernard wasn't! As he picked up the tone arm on his nice new Garrard record deck, he proceeded, to drop it accidentally on side one, right across Astronomy Domine! 'Careful with these tracks' is highly appropriate!
@nickhirst999 ouch!!!...lol. well at least we were old enough to see Roger Waters tour with The Wall. Hope you were able to see that concert.
@@James-jb5ls No, but I saw the post waters PF 3 times, including Knebworth '90 and Earl's Court '94 when the seats collapsed. I did see Waters at the O2 back in 2003 and also saw Gilmour perform Atom Heart Mother with Ron Geesin! I wish, as you say, we'd been around for those days when PF were still a 'cult' band. I've seen Roy Harper about 25 times and at various gigs it was so intimate that I called a request and he actually played it and we all sang along! The song was 'Excercising Some Control!'
@@nickhirst999 wait!!!! Gilmore played Atom heart mother???...when???
Fantastic!
Floyd since I was an Embtyo!!!😮😢
WTF is an Embtyo?
Better than the live half of _Ummagumma_ ? I find myself listening to this bootleg more often. It's unfortunate that "Interstellar Overdrive" wasn't a bonus track on CD releases.
While this is GRRREAT, no doubt!!
We have had nearly 55 years to dissect and trance to the splendor of Ummagumma. Perhaps if this was the release from those halycon days, and Ummagumma was newly tickling your ears on RUclips now... !?!
Love em both, revel in the celebration that we have both!!!
I have vinyl UmmaGumma album recorded, live concerts at Birmingham & Manchester Colledges. It sounds equally good.
Just listen to that Farfisa!
😍😍😍😍
Excellent! Just so you know, there are commercial interruptions 😢
Awww man. Dammit.
Thank you for letting me know. I've always wondered if there are ads in my videos.
It’s only happened to me once before on your channel ( my response was a bit snarky -sorry about that).
Your channel is one of a few I can relax with while working in the studio. I appreciate that! Thanks
Yeah bro...what else is new? It's youtube . It wouldn't be youtube without commercials.
A diff mix of Ummagumma Astronomy !
❤❤❤🎉
Great stuff, but the mix is a bit off. I wish I could hear Gilmour's guitar a little more.
Around this time ,Floyd came out with a rare song that i heard years ago and would like to know the title of. It was around 6-7 minutes long, sung by Rick or Roger, had a melodic pipe organ upbeat melody, similar to a compostion by Handel or Bach with a trippy middle 8 guitar solo. The lyrics were of someone reminiscing about a past love with references to dancing in their mind. Let me know what song this may be. Thanks!
Hi Calliopi
I was looking for that song when you first brought it up. I think maybe it is on the bootleg titled 370 Roman Yards. It is on my channel.

So basically this is just an alternate version of Umma Gumma?
"Interstellar Overdrive" was recorded at the same venue and intended for placement on side one of the live album, but was later dropped due to time limits on vinyl
