Finally! you posted an episode that isn't [intentionally] 15 minutes/ especially when it doesn't have to be that long. Sometimes short videos are preferable over longer ones when it's not necessary of them to be that long. I still watch all of your videos though haha. but I hope you'll post more short videos from now on :)
Aaron I love your videos. I already (ph)learned quite a lot and they are really use to understand. Keep on going, you tutorials are just amazing. I am watching since months already but now it was time to comment ;) cheers from Germany
Man I wish I'd known about this a few months ago. I'd not have given up on a shot that I really wanted but there was too much busyness for it to work. Greta tutorial.
Absolutely love your videos. I've learned a lot. Photoshop is such a huge program but can do so much. Thanks for all the great tips and tricks as well as photo techniques. You rock!
Awesome little trick Aaron! Would love to see what you can do with the other options under statistics! Seems like a very interesting part of photoshop.
Well, I had seen Statistics and Median, but had no idea what they were for - Thanks Aaron, it must be useful for other things too, I will have to find a reason to use it.. Useful tutorial... How about going through some of these menus to explain what the more obscure ones are for please...
You've shown this before but still a great refresher... Hey AARON... I might be designing a billboard for my company in the near future but I have never done any project at this large of a scale. What do you suggest as far as specs? How about a tutorial on Ps that talks about specs for projects; such as, the different modes and what you would use them for? Thanks for your help!
Hi Aaron! Love watching your easy to follow photoshop tutorials. Btw, can this be done in photoshop element 13? I didn't find the features you showed here on my element version. Thanks!
Thank you AAron and I tried this trick the first time tonight. I took 31 pictures with a tripod of an entrance of an amusement park. Lots of people going in and out. After the technique was applied, they were removed within 2 minutes. I can accept the quality although there was some light grey stain left on the entrance columns. I suspect those were "shadows" when people walked by. For curiosity, I would like to know why this happened on a night picture but not on a daytime picture (the highway you demo). Is there a way to clean it too? Thank you very much.
Thanks for the great tip (once again). Don't let those nitpickers get you down. It's a valuable tool. But speaking of nitpicking, I just HAD to add: that's not Lake Shore Drive. It's Columbus drive. LSD is off to the east (right) some.
thx for this tute! I shoot HDRI almost exclusively. Is there a workflow like this for each shutter speed without converting to JPEG or TIFF? I usually shoot Adobe 1998 with either -1-½, -1 and +½ unless the Zones of interest are far apart. Slightly off-topic: is there a workflow for focal stacking w/HDR that might help avoid masking?
You should have pointed out that the cars on the bridge also got removed far better with the automatic tool. A nice close-up would have been good from that area!
Aaron, thanks for the tip, great and useful as always!, my suggestion: Could you please do an episode on digital blending using luminosity masks?, I haven't seen any episodes on you doing HDR but I don't like too much the grungy fake HDR look anyway, but I've seen awesome results from people blending exposures using luminosity masks, since you always come up with a better & faster way to do Photoshop techniques I'd love to see an episode covering those subjects, Thanks!
Aaron, great idea and I would love to give it a go. But my version of P-shop (CS6) doesn't have the 'Statistics' link from the File menu. Is this part only found in the version you appear to be using (CC)?
The Graphix Chic sorry I don't know what is different, I just learned about it right now, But if i have it I think there should be a way to add it too. I was replying to Allan since he was wondering if Statistics it's only for an older version of Photoshop. Ok, I have the CS6 extended version. Maybe that's why? But is in the File menu/Scripts/Statistics
Is there an auto way to keep an item or bring it back witout going back to masking and selection? Like if i want to remove the cars or people but want to keep a bird in a single frame
Awesome technique Aaron! Love your tutorials. Thanks for sharing.
I love watching u bro , its not that ur only a pro .. but ur too close to the heart .. keep it up !! ( from lebanon )

Man I wish I'd known about this a few months ago. I'd not have given up on a shot that I really wanted but there was too much busyness for it to work. Greta tutorial.

Thank you so much !! which softwares that includes this thing ? .. Is it only available on Photoshop cc or it's available on photoshop 5 cs5 or cs6 ?
Well, I had seen Statistics and Median, but had no idea what they were for - Thanks Aaron, it must be useful for other things too, I will have to find a reason to use it.. Useful tutorial... How about going through some of these menus to explain what the more obscure ones are for please...
Great tutorial as always. Would it be possible to get a tutorial on how to create those great photorealistic product mockups I've seen around?
Thank you very much. You are a born teacher.
Hey Aaron! I intend to make a long exposure type photo by stacking lots of pictures of a landscape with moving clouds. Any idea how to do it?
Wow. I did not even know it existed in photoshop. Awesome.
Amazing and useful tutorial!

OMG - soooo cool -a real time saver... now I wonder what all the other non-MEDIAN options do
Aaron, once again an awesome video. Could you make a video of you re-creating the Photoshop loading screen?
Wow....so easy ...thanks a lot pal!
Photographing in Amsterdam this weekend and this will help tons ;))
Thanks Aaron, slick tip.
Very helpful ! Thanks !
Thank you for sharing this! I did the exact opposite thing-in manual-to make a sparsely populated mall look crowded.
Great video! What uses can you think of for the other stack mode options... mean, std deviation, skewness, etc.?
Thank you for providing these videos. I am a recent convert to ps(yesterday) after using gimp for 10+years.
Love this video!!!! Amazing!!! Thank you
super video, as always !
awesome 👏🏻
Great script and video but why median? What's the difference with the other modes?
Super Super Cool Video!!!!

Finally I can remove my emotions
im so gonna be using that....thenx again to you PHLEARN
Hi Phlearn-folks! I love your tutorials a lot. I have a request though, could you do an episode on how to change the weather in a photograph?
Hi Aaron! Love watching your easy to follow photoshop tutorials. Btw, can this be done in photoshop element 13? I didn't find the features you showed here on my element version. Thanks!
Very nice Funktion !
Great ! Why did I never heard about that before ?
What about other options than Median in Statistics? Looking forward for a tut!
Pozdrawiam.
Great vid! :) Could please make a tutorial on how to prepare and save photos for Facebook, websites and print? That would be really helpful
Hi Aaron, I was wondering how many pictures you need to use the automated process. Or is it more of a having all the blank spaces type deal?
hi Aaron will this be useful to stack astro images ? especially if they aren't aligned properly. Or has a comet ?
Thank you AAron and I tried this trick the first time tonight. I took 31 pictures with a tripod of an entrance of an amusement park. Lots of people going in and out. After the technique was applied, they were removed within 2 minutes.

Thank you very much.
excellent , thanks man..
What if you wanted to stack motion blur pictures? Is there a better/worse way to do that? I've just been doing it manually wit layer masks.
Can u teach us vanishing point ? The use of that filter tool thanks
Brilliant!

OMG! Awesome!
Hi, I used to visit Dr. Liu in Walnut Creek as a medical rep (Peter), how are you both doing?
You should have pointed out that the cars on the bridge also got removed far better with the automatic tool.
A nice close-up would have been good from that area!
Fantastic! This only works in PS 2014 CC i assume? ( Looks like the facial hair is coming in good - starting a goatee myself.)
can you make an explanation about making smoke using the photoshop ? i mean like cigarette or the smoke the comes out of an drifting car ...etc
thanks
Do you need to open multiple images for this to work?
I actually have CS6 and there is a Statistics link in the File menu>Scripts. Just checked now because of your comment :)
This has been around since 2013 in the File menu and many years longer under > Layer > Smart Objects > Stack Modes.
I have CS5 and Scripts >Statistics is there in the File menu
reluca81 I'm in CS6 looking at the File menu now and don't see it. Of course, I could just be blind.
The Graphix Chic
sorry I don't know what is different, I just learned about it right now, But if i have it I think there should be a way to add it too. I was replying to Allan since he was wondering if Statistics it's only for an older version of Photoshop.
Ok, I have the CS6 extended version. Maybe that's why? But is in the File menu/Scripts/Statistics
Any chance of a video on Topaz Glow 2..masks. Can there be many masks on one photo?
That's totally cool.
Is is possible to use median stack with focus stacking also?
Hi There. You can include a tutorial about how to create a logo in future episodes? Thank You!
I'd love to see some Tipps on dealing with pictures with a bad resolution and how to edit them the best way, that would be awesome.
Thank's a bunch :]
Wasn't there already a trick, using the Difference blend mode that you could do that? But anyhow this is really cool!
Thank you guys :-)
please show us what other Stack Mode do!
Is there an auto way to keep an item or bring it back witout going back to masking and selection? Like if i want to remove the cars or people but want to keep a bird in a single frame
thank you ^^ ♥
You sir are amazing. Claps slowly
Aron what's that touchpad that you use all the time. Does it make the job easier? What's it name?
Wacom Tablet. It make the brush tool easier just because you can get a natural stroke. Takes some time getting used to tho.
