    Finally! you posted an episode that isn't [intentionally] 15 minutes/ especially when it doesn't have to be that long. Sometimes short videos are preferable over longer ones when it's not necessary of them to be that long.
    I still watch all of your videos though haha. but I hope you'll post more short videos from now on :)

  • @kitkatm1984

    hi Aaron will this be useful to stack astro images ? especially if they aren't aligned properly. Or has a comet ?

  • @HongKong1842
    @HongKong1842 9 лет назад

    Thank you AAron and I tried this trick the first time tonight. I took 31 pictures with a tripod of an entrance of an amusement park. Lots of people going in and out. After the technique was applied, they were removed within 2 minutes.
    I can accept the quality although there was some light grey stain left on the entrance columns. I suspect those were "shadows" when people walked by.
    For curiosity, I would like to know why this happened on a night picture but not on a daytime picture (the highway you demo). Is there a way to clean it too?
    Thank you very much.

    Thanks for the great tip (once again). Don't let those nitpickers get you down. It's a valuable tool. But speaking of nitpicking, I just HAD to add: that's not Lake Shore Drive. It's Columbus drive. LSD is off to the east (right) some.

    thx for this tute! I shoot HDRI almost exclusively. Is there a workflow like this for each shutter speed without converting to JPEG or TIFF? I usually shoot Adobe 1998 with either -1-½, -1 and +½ unless the Zones of interest are far apart. Slightly off-topic: is there a workflow for focal stacking w/HDR that might help avoid masking?

    Aaron, thanks for the tip, great and useful as always!, my suggestion: Could you please do an episode on digital blending using luminosity masks?, I haven't seen any episodes on you doing HDR but I don't like too much the grungy fake HDR look anyway, but I've seen awesome results from people blending exposures using luminosity masks, since you always come up with a better & faster way to do Photoshop techniques I'd love to see an episode covering those subjects, Thanks!

    Aaron, great idea and I would love to give it a go. But my version of P-shop (CS6) doesn't have the 'Statistics' link from the File menu. Is this part only found in the version you appear to be using (CC)?

      sorry I don't know what is different, I just learned about it right now, But if i have it I think there should be a way to add it too. I was replying to Allan since he was wondering if Statistics it's only for an older version of Photoshop.
      Ok, I have the CS6 extended version. Maybe that's why? But is in the File menu/Scripts/Statistics
