I have enough body wash to last me a life time. Idky I buy new products as birthday gifts, when I can actually give shop for gifts right from my house. LOL

Loved watching this as we get ready for SAS! Less than a week away! So many great tips!! I 100% agree about the mens shower gels. When I see those go down to 75% off I rack up! I always stick them in with my kids and hubbys Christmas and Easter stuff and everyone can use shower gel!
Yes it's so close! In fact I just got word that some stores will be starting SAS early on June 11 so you might want to check with your store! 😯 Yes I'm hoping to stock up on men's body care, especially shower gel, this SAS. 😊 My dad and bf love aromatherapy shower gels too so keeping an eye out for those! That's a great idea! I'm always putting them in the guys' Christmas stockings myself with a fresh loofah or sponge!

@@MelissaC I'm excited for the bubble gum, and orange vanilla. I just finished my almond blossom shower gel so I will hope to replace that. I will also be on the look out for 75% items like the Fall/Winter 2021aromatherapy lines. I hope we get them in my local stores. I have about four stores in our Metro area that I will check out. The last few SAS sales some of the stores didn't have very much clearance while other stores had tons of product. I go twice a week to check products at the locations. Last sale I got lucky and found a just put out soap table and a just put out cart of 75% off candles. I really disliked most of the candle scents , so I just picked up a couple. That was the first time I found clearance wallflower sample candles. It's nice to watch your videos. I enjoy the build up excitement of the SAS sales.

Yes, I just got word that a lot of the older aromatherapy body care collections from last year will be 75% off, which if I remember my store had quite a bit left over from last time. 🤞 Yay for the 75% off hand soaps! I hope that happens this time around too! 😍 Yeah, I was able to resist a lot of last SAS's candles as well. I feel pretty well stocked on Christmas/Winter candles as well as summer, but if I see any leftover Fall ones I might have to get some...😅 Thanks so much, I'm glad it's getting you hyped for the big sale! 🥰

Thanks for this video! This will be my second SAS sale and I plan to be more strategic than the first as I was throwing massive amounts of money at B&BW during winter SAS. Question I have is the candles they bring in specifically for SAS (this year it's Pink Petal Teacake, the blends candles, Pineapple Marshmallow etc...) are they usually in limited supply and sell out the first day? I'm interested in the ones I just mentioned and trying to figure out if I can hold off or whether I should buy all of the ones I'm interested in (probably in multiples) on the first day? Also, are these special SAS candles usually on sale at the beginning of SAS? I appreciate all the info you've been sharing!
Thanks so much for watching, Diana! 😊 Haha that's understandable. I tend to go in thinking I'm going to stay "well behaved" but the less of a plan I have, the more crazy I tend to be. 😅 My guess is they will not sell out in the first day. I will say though that for candles, the new collections will probably not go any lower than whatever price they have within the first few days of Semi Annual Sale. Mark downs mainly happen for body care and hand soaps, and the ones that are older rather than the new summer releases. The first few days of SAS, and then the weekends are the best prices for candles historically. 😊 I hope this helps, and don't forget about that 14 day price adjustment with your receipt in the case you buy them and then they do go lower in price afterwards! 🥰

This is a very informative helpful video. I mainly shop online and hoping to see fragrances like pumpkin cupcake and pumpkin pecan waffle are those more like fall scents that we may not see in this sale?

Yes, those are some of my favorite scents too...anything Autumn themed is my fave! 🍁 Those will be released soon...probably mid August is when we will start seeing those types of scents come out! Your local store may have a small selection of clearance Autumn scents from last year though. It just depends on the stock each location has! 😊

Since I'm blind, I rarely go to an actual store and purchase. My question: If I purchase online and later notice that the price has dropped, (and it's within 14 days), how do I go about getting a price adjustment? Do I just call Customer Service and they will take care of it? Again, thanks!!! 💗💗💗
Hi Kristi, thanks for your question! I'm pretty sure they will be able to help you with a price adjustment of an online order through calling the customer service number. I've never done it before myself, but price adjustments work similarly to returns and exchanges in the system. I will mention though, just as of about a week or two ago, they unfortunately made a shift in their customer service providers and outsourced. I'm hoping this won't change the quality or services they provide in a negative way. I hope this info helps! Let me know if you have any other questions, too! 🥰

@@MelissaC I wonder if it would be a good strategy to buy the 50% off items that you are interested in right away, then return/repurchase them once they go down to 75% off. Essentially a round about way of getting a price adjustment and guaranteeing that you get they items you really want at the best price.
@@kmc0728 Sorry for the belated reply, but honestly I kinda feel like doing that...😋 I do know they've been changing up their return and exchange policy so I think everyone's been a bit unclear of what you can and can't do but...I definitely waiting for some of those body care products to get marked down but don't think they will fast enough!

If you have a few items that were marked down on your same receipt how many adjustments on the same receipt can you get ?
So let's say you have 5 items on your receipt total that you bought for 50% off. A few days go by and you see that 3 of those items go 75% off. You get your price adjustment on those 3 items and the employee will print you a new receipt. Make sure you get both the new printed receipt as well as your original one. That way, you still can go in with your original receipt in the case that the remaining 2 items drop in price even after you did that one price adjustment. Those 3 price adjusted items are now no longer eligible for further adjustment, but those other 2 still are.The system does it by item, not entire batch order. I hope that makes sense! 😊 Happy sale shopping! 🥰
Do you think the cucumber melon, sunset glow, and other returning favorites they advertised on their SAS flyer will be 75% off on the first day? And also I have some full/unused besides smelling a tiny bit products that aren’t sold in store anymore (they’re from 2020-21), would I be able to exchange those for scents in store?The reason for exchange is they don’t work with my body chemistry and I’m sensitive to some smells and I didn’t realize till I got them that they make me nauseous. But since they’re older I don’t know if that’s a bad thing to exchange them and I feel guilty about doing so
I believe that those returning retired fragrances will be $4.95 each right at the start of SAS! 🥰 At least that's the rumored price point, but if it's true, I'll probably be snagging some myself. 😊 Normally, yes you should be able to exchange those for that reason. Just as of a few days ago, I did notice they were making changes to the return policy so you may want to check in with your store before trying since I don't know what it means for exchanges. Apparently they are just now changing the return policy and putting a 90 day limit on giving full refunds to the original tender (give back cash if you paid with cash, put money back on card if you paid with card.) ...Lots of policy changes this coming summer! 😵 But if it were me working that day given the policies I've been aware of up until now, I would have done the exchange for you! 😊 I hope this info helps!
How does it work if you shop online, and the item goes cheaper later? How do you get the price adjustment for online items?
The easiest way would be to go in store with your receipt and get the price adjustment there. You can also exchange or return items you bought online in a store as well. If that's not an option, I believe you should be able to do it through their customer support number. Happy sale shopping! 🤗🥰
Not really SAS related, but I have an internal dilemma that just arose...
I was gifted a White Barn Waikiki Beach Coconut 3-wick priced at $24.50 poured late 2019. I've only ever read about people experiencing instant severe headaches, and honestly I thought it was BS - until now. Before it even fully pooled out, it gave BOTH me & my husband an excruciating headache. I absolutely know that you can technically exchange any product at any time new or used without a receipt - I've even been at cash wrap and seen waaay older (2013) used candles exchanged by other customers, but I personally always have done so, only with items from the current year, unused. I'm so afraid of being given a hard time or talked about behind my back since it's been lit once & no receipt, but I'm also like - why should I have to just throw this away, instead of exchanging for something I know we'll enjoy, like I've seen/read so many others have done? Uggh, I'm so torn... Any advice is greatly appreciated! 💛
Wow! I love Waikiki (mainly in body care, only burnt a Waikiki candle once in like, 2017 lol) but did notice one time having a headachey reaction to a more recent Waikiki wallflower bulb. I just brushed it off as being too strong for my preference at the time and swapped it for a different scented bulb. I guess there was something funky going on with it! 😳
My coworkers and I have never talked badly of a customer that genuinely needed to exchange a used product, especially due to an allergic reaction, not liking a gift they received (It's under the assumption that an employee helped them pick this gift out so if they didn't like it, then that's our fault LOL!). I can't speak for everyone because there of course are always going to be people working in places they probably would be better off not working at, but in this case it sounds obvious that you lit it once and instantly knew it wasn't working for you, and you'll see that in the burn pools. My opinion is if they make a big deal out of it then that's their problem for being bad employees, and they can just deal with it. 😆 But, as an introvert, I understand how you feel not wanting to cause a scene or for people to think poorly of you. I can assure you if you went to exchange this candle and explained how you got the candle and tried it, then you are 100% in the right. If you are worried, I suggest calling your local store on the phone, tell them about the candle, and then ask if you can make an exchange on it and get the green light. That way it's win win, if they say yes, then you can get your exchange knowing it should be cool with them and if for some dumb reason they say no, then at least they'll never know it was you and they won't "judge" you if you come into the store to shop otherwise! 😂 I hope this helps! 🥰

The 75 off testers candles were sold out in first hour or two of sas over this past winter
Wow! They sure do sell fast. At my store, we don't usually debut them on the first day of SAS just because the way they send us the sku list is hard to read. It's easier for us to wait for the sale to start then scan them on the price inquiry on the computer. So we usually end up doing it sometime within the first week of the sale so it's something I've learned to keep an eye out for a little later. Last Winter SAS, I was the one that scanned the tester candles and put them on the table...It happened to be a quiet night in the store so they lasted a while! Sure enough they disappeared pretty quickly after that though! 🤗 I hope you can grab yourself some this time around! 😊

I got some others too. I only seen one 3 wick for 75 off it was one I didn't care for so I decided to be nice and leave it for someone who might actually like it.

There is a chance that some will be there if your location had leftovers from last Semi Annual Sale, but my prediction is that there won't be a fresh shipment of Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte for the sale. I'm guessing this mainly because Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte comes out every year very soon after summer semi annual so they want people to get hyped for the new packaging! 🎃 Still worth checking through the 75% off table though just in case! 😍

Do the $10 Thanksgiving/Xmas candles at outlets get marked down for sas?
Sadly, I have no clue since I don't have an outlet and haven't been to one before. 😥 My guess though is probably not as $10 is a pretty low price for 3 wick candles as is and the company knows they can successfully sell it at that. But I could be wrong, sorry I couldn't help more on this one! 🤗
I bought a 3 wick in kiwi Passionfruit candle and I didn't get the good scent from it it smelled like what it smells like when you blow a candle out that burning like smell. I hate bringing back used candles but I paid a little over $14 for it
About when did you buy the candle? You should be able to take it into the store and exchange it for a different scent, even if you burned it a little bit! 😊

Hi there! 🤗 From what I can tell, I don't think UAE will have a semi annual sale. 😕 I don't have any information on that location sadly so I'm not really sure, but what I do know is that they work differently price and sale wise than the American stores. Sorry I couldn't help more! 😣

It depends on your location, if you have a smaller and more tame store it might be alright. It's just wise to wait if the store is hectic and the employees are running around like crazy or there are long lines. 😂 You can always bring them in your car with you and size up the situation and if you think it's calm enough then it should be fine! 🤗

Hi Melissa I'm sorry to ask this, however if anyone is going to know it will be you 🙂 okay I shopped in store today and picked up a beach nights shower gel from the 4.95 bin and when I got home I realized I had payed full price for it 😒 what do I do?
Hi Zoe! No problem, I love answering questions! This can happen as either a customer might jumble up product where it doesn't belong or the employees put them in the wrong place. You could call the store and explain the situation and see what they say. (Calling first is always good because it helps both you and the employees to get an understanding or game plan before having a potentially awkward encounter in person.) But if it were me working and that happened to somebody, I would take their receipt and honor the price mistake in the case that the shower gel was in a bin. Especially if there are a whole bunch of them over there and it was our mistake of putting them there. There is a chance though that if they deem it was "obvious" that they weren't supposed to be that price, they won't give you a price adjustment. In that case, you could just return it and get a refund, and perhaps wait to see if it goes on a better sale later and then repurchase. If I remember correctly, I think that the Beach Nights should be 50% off right now. So if you paid full price then that's really wrong. I hope this helps! 🤗

I have a question. So i went into my bathandbodyworks and wanted to return 6 body mist i bought and they were all used but mostly full. I was told i couldn't return them I don't know why if before people return empty product and mine was mostly full
Hmm, I think they should have been able to return the fragrance mists. Did you take in a receipt or no? Were these sprays from a really long time ago? I'm just trying to problem solve and think of why an employee wouldn't do it. I do know unfortunately they are undergoing some changes with their return and exchange policies right now, and that they just let go of their original customer service team and outsourced...I hope that those reasons aren't going to make it harder to return and exchange now! Let me know about those first couple questions. Sorry that happened! 😣
@@MelissaC yes i had the receipt and no they werent old i brought them that same month to return them. The manager was rude and told me "you clearly liked it since you used them and we cant give you your money back" she made me feel dumb even if it was pretty much full.
@@saltyriz7734 😲 Uhh that's not good! If they were half full or over half full that shouldn't have happened. Also, we are supposed to say something like, "I'm really sorry but I can't make the return for you unless if these products are over half full. The return policy is intended to help customers that have product performance issues, and is not intended to be taken advantage of when the product works as expected." And like...I don't know...be apologetic and nice about it, not mean! 😓 I do know right now is a rough time for return and exchange policy because just a few days ago I got word that they are changing it. All I know is that there is going to now be a 90 day limit on making returns to the original tender (like giving cash back if you paid in cash, or money back onto your card if you paid with card) and that otherwise they are just going to do like in store credit if you return past the 90 days. So maybe this employee thought they were following the new guidelines correctly? I don't know. I suggest going to another store if you still want to return them and have another to go to in the area, or maybe call the store and ask what the return policy is and explain what you did and ask why that doesn't fall within the policy? 😔 I hope you get it resolved! If all fails I guess you could also call customer service and go through with a mail-in return although that sounds like more work than it should be in my opinion! 🤦♀
