I just found this Channel & what You call Chimole [I never heard that name before] We call it Rayaino or when We were younger~The Black Stuff, Lol, We do prepare it the same way w/one exception, We dice dice the boiled eggs & then add it to the bowl, that flavor simmers in & it tastes Sooooooo Good❣❣❣...People were asking where could they purchase Black Recado, they can try Mexican Food stores as well, We live in NY & that's where to find it too..
Chimole and reyeno are different chimole is just the soup chicken and egg ..the reyeno has a picadillo with egg hashed and is stuffed into the chicken while chimole is just black soup ...she's doing chimole but some reyeno properties

Have you ever used ground turkey sausage or pork sausage as in Italian sausage sausage for the ground meat? It puts a lot of flavor.
No I don't like any of those. I'm not a sausage type of person. I don't even like breakfast sausages.
