Holy moly. He's simply incredible. He reminds me so much of a young French singer, Gregory Lemarchal, who died at 24 from cystic fibrosis after winning the star academy and releasing his first album. He did four nights at the olympia in Paris while ill, and was still working on his second album up till the end... hmTom has the same ability Gregory had to move you to tears with his voice while singing... and the fact he's suffering from time 1 diabetes makes it even more amazing. And this song, sung like that, is what I needed right now to lift me up from the dark Place I'm in now, being harrased and abused by relatives when I am stuck with my legs paralysed due to severe back problems... 😢 Makes me want to fight back even more.

I listened to the original singer on this. It was a Broadway song and won an Academy Award....I preferred Tom's version.
It seems he also working on his presence, it looks like he has lost some weight and the shorrter curled hair with the small beard gives hims a less nerdy but more tough guy looks. And yes, as mentioned he revealed himseld as the singer of the cat Noodle with an amazong performance. So now I have seen him pop up on 4 different Got Talent shows (also one spain episode).
In the latest Noodle performance where he revealed himself with the talks with the jury he mentioned he has a great career in the US with the help of Simon, so it seems when he did not even win one of the talent shows Simon is helping him to get known. And there is an album coming!
