Super informative and have been waiting for this video....just picked up the TME Boston 10's and am loving them for longer workouts but was looking for something lighter for racing in, looks like I've found it in the Adizero Adios Pro 2. Thanks for the info Reed 👍 and looking forward to watching you throw it down in the Chicago marathon next month. Keep the ball rolling....
The Boston 10’s are such a great shoe to run in, I love how the LS & LSP compliment each other and perform even better the higher the tempo, I now find myself comfortably running much faster to experience the pop and energy return, it has inadvertently improved my 5k & 10k times and I’m not even trying to! I don’t even run competitively! also really great value for the price considering the tech in this shoe, I’d recommend this shoe to anyone who genuinely loves running whether it be competitive or not
Amazingly great video. Thank you! I have SO MANY Adidas shoes and try to experiment which shoe works best for a particular session -I’m glad I’m able to hear it from a professional runner’s perspective!
The takumi Sen 8 are a very good shoe for track workouts or 5k/10k races. It's heavily my favourite shoe for this racing distances and I think this is the fastest model of all on the market rn
Good overview. However I really could do with a UK 13.5/US 14 but adidas just don't cater for us with large feet in your adizero lineup but your leading competitors do. Hope can mention this.
Great work Reed! Think a lot of the adizero shoes were due a big update as they hadn’t changed a huge amount over the last 5/6 years. Think they’ve all been well received and are enabling runners/athletes to break PBs and WRs 👌🏻 Looking forward to seeing how things develop over the next few years. Exciting times for the three stripes 🚀🚀🚀
I'm curious about people's preference of lacing methods. I notice a lot more display shoes are laced over the holes, which to me seems backwards. On this video, I see some laced over and some laced up through the under side, and some are even mixed or alternating. Any feedback is welcome and appreciated. Thanks
Do you get any use out of the Takumi Sen 7? I know TS 8 is coming out soon and that's a bit of a departure from a traditional Japanese-style racing flat.
I use the Takumi for faster work on the track when I don’t want to spike up! They’re a little too close to the adios to have made the cut here. I’m excited for the new Takumi, though. Should be a great shoe for shorter road races and 10K track racing for those who can’t handle spikes.
I need to replace my Adizero Pro i done over 500 miles on them and kinda broke...any suggestions guys? I use them for long fast runs, park runs and track sessions need something light, fast with comfort bounce
Yes, I use the Solarglide for pretty much all of my easy running. The Boston or Supernova could also be good shoes for your long runs if you want something a bit faster feeling underfoot.
it depends do you overpronate? if so you probably need a stability shoes. however if you've been running with neutral shoes and don't get injured then you might not need them.
These are NOT the ST version of the Solarglide, just the regular neutral version. The caption during the video is incorrect unfortunately. adidas offers a neutral and an ST version of the Solarglide on their site.
Hi, would be very interested in your comparision of the new Lightstrike Avanti vs. the "old" Boost version - which shoe for which distance, durability predictions. Thanks!
personally for me the new one is 100% a better shoe for what it's designed for (5k-10k). last years version is a lot more aggressive in geometry and is not nearly as cushioned. the new one is by far the best spike i've ever worn
I hear Adidas shoes are just way to firm. Like all of them. I have had 23 stress fractures in my lower legs and this is why I have never adventured into Adidas.
Waiiiit where's the couponnnn for the Boston 10s

The Adizero Prime X elevates you so high that you'll get a nosebleed
The colour ways are mad good
Of all these shoes, which would be best for a 2 mile all out race ??
The takumi Sen 8 are a very good shoe for track workouts or 5k/10k races. It's heavily my favourite shoe for this racing distances and I think this is the fastest model of all on the market rn
Would it be good for an all out 2 mile effort ?? (3200m)??

I wear 14 too.
Okay every other shoe brands, take notes:
This is how you use your athletes to sell shoes.
In South Africa, Adidas don't bring in size 14s US....otherwise I'd love to try some of these. Boston's look cool.
What about the Takumi Sen?
Can you guys do video on Your sports drink supplement
Great vid and good luck in Chicago!

what does he mean by "poppy" ?
Anything about the Adidas Takumi Sen 8 which were used in the new women's 5k WR???
We got something special for you in the works for 2022….

Man you missed the best of all workhorse type of shoe from Adidas, the Solarboost 3.
good luck for chicago marathon
Nice Video! Is it clever to use the Supernova + for easy 10-20km runs? Or should I use other shoes like the sl20.2 or the solarglide?
I would prefer supernova + or solarglides
Wait... where's the UltraBoost 21? JK... I like the Adios in the past. Thinking of the Pro 2 as my next shoe.
What no original adizero pro with the plate anymore. ?
Got the adios 6 today and they are great. Nike 38 pegs for regular days, adios 6 for fast days. (400 runner)
are you a 400 runner that does miles?
The heck, is there a new supernova model already? Looks a lot different to the one my sister has. Those were pretty poor quality too.
where is the TAKUMI SEN 7
needs a sizing chart on the site

You run Takumi Sen 8 ?
Question regarding the Boston 10s. You think it'd be a good Daily Trainer?
Nope definitely for faster runs orlong tempo/threshold runs.

Beautiful shoe rotation though. Adidas do some clean running shoes
I need to replace my Adizero Pro i done over 500 miles on them and kinda broke...any suggestions guys? I use them for long fast runs, park runs and track sessions need something light, fast with comfort bounce
What category are the ultraboost 21 tennis shoes in?
bruuuuhhhhh i JUST got my Boston 10 TMEs......couldve used that coupon a few days ago...im hurt hahaha
Same 😩
A few online reviews have dismissed the Boston 10’s because of the weight. Reed, does this bother you at all or do you see it as a training bonus?
If Adodas could make an Adizero shoe w/o the "traansparent mesh upper"....just makes the shoes look cheap....IMHO...
Very interesting that you use Solarglide 4 for the majority of your runs. Is this the shoe you personally recommend for easy long runs (20-35km) ?
Yes, I use the Solarglide for pretty much all of my easy running. The Boston or Supernova could also be good shoes for your long runs if you want something a bit faster feeling underfoot.
That is a truly drool worthy lineup!
What’s the difference between solar glide vs solar glide st? Does anyone know
solar glide st are for runners who need stability
@@sigitnugroho7523 can you define stability? I’m sorry it’s just I’m trying to do my research before purchasing the st or none st version
it depends do you overpronate? if so you probably need a stability shoes. however if you've been running with neutral shoes and don't get injured then you might not need them.
Why does Reed wear the ST version instead of the neutral ones, really curious about it
because Reed doesnt know ST stands for stability 😂 well the Solar Glide once was also a neutral shoe but now you have the Solar Boost
These are NOT the ST version of the Solarglide, just the regular neutral version. The caption during the video is incorrect unfortunately. adidas offers a neutral and an ST version of the Solarglide on their site.

Those got a HUGE upgrade. I love the look of it
Sens 8 dropping soon. Looks to be very close to Pro 2.
@@DangerDaveLok I know, I saw the leaks too. I don't know why Adidas is adding more stach-height to every new model of theirs.

A lot of adidas shoes are rigid and snappy. It just depends if you like that minimalist feel.
