Aside from the lyrical content the music here is soulful, passionate, and yet over-the-top maniacal. The rhythm changes are phenomenal and the vocal harmonies are pure bliss. Nearing 50, I can only handle this music is small does but when I was to here their music, this one tops the list.
I find this reaction interesting. This is a very underrated SOAD song that tackles some very big questions (as all SOAD songs do, their lyrical composition is phenomenal). After reading the comments it sounds like this all came together by happenstance as it was supposed to be a Moody Blues song. So not only is the reactor listening to it for the first time, all their followers are listening to it for the first time and commenting as well.

The spookiest video I can think of is David Bowie's "Blackstar", which I played obsessively for hours when it came out because it was so beautiful and so strange. Hint. I just rewatched it. Don't watch it, Cynthia. It will upset you.

The jump scares in this one reminded me of watching Halloween for the first time back in the late 70's! For your next reaction you should react to the other "Question" - the one by the Moody Blues, It is not scary at all!! Great reaction, too, by the way!! Come on this song is not scary I don't think even they wanted an scary music video. You must check NiN Marilyn Manson,... for Halloween! and also cover of satisfaction by the Residents (especially on a Russian animation) maybe the most scary song ever from that lame work by rolling stones!
Oh my Goodness, Cynthia... My first thought was : Did she choose the wrong song ??? I remember someone suggested "Question" by The Moody Blues to you, but not by THIS band. But as "shocking" and "scary" as it was for you, you paid a lot of attention to the lyrics, and the review at the end was - as always - so wonderful and almost philosophical, dealing with life after death... again the true highlight of this reaction video for me. Honestly, this was not my cup of tea, but it was interesting and captivating to watch... I wonder what will be coming next... I hope one of my suggestions again ? You must check closer by NIN and anything by Marilyn Manson then you find Bowie very sweet.
