Today we're running COD Warzone Season 4 on the RTX 3080 at 1080P | 1440P and 4K using the Ultra settings and custom optimal settings. We’ll see how the game performs on each setting and provide gameplay and benchmark

i use a 7900xtx with ryzen 7 5800x3d, 32gb ram. play at 1080p with a benq Zowie xl2566k 360hz. vondel and the other warzone maps, feel so bad and laggy at 150 fps.. idk why it does that for me.. i have my nat type on Moderate
Im looking into buying an RTX 3080 but every youtuber only benchmarks fortnite at Lumen Epic but not Lumen High, it would be greatly appreciated if you revisited fortnite and tested all settings! 😊
Which Cpu is recommended for the rtx 3080?
I used to be able to get over 100fps at 2K Ultra in this game back at launch with my R9 3900X and RTX 3080. Now I'm lucky to go over 100fps after the recent season updates. I usually hover between 50-80fps with the occasional drop to 45fps. Doesn't matter how much I lower settings, change resolution, or upscale, the performance is still shit. It amazes me how they keep messing with the game, causing it to become even more CPU intensive after each update!

@@dre-20m No. After the latest patch that "fixed" PC performance, I'm running it at a smooth 90fps! (with 1% lows at 47fps)..... on low settings...... using DLSS Performance!
If I go Ultra settings, I'll hover around 73fps at highest, low 40s, average 55-60fps, using upscaling, of course. At this point, if I don't use upscaling then the game becomes even more of a mess.
Lowering to native 1080p (which is still higher than DLSS, which is upscaling from 828p) makes no difference at all. The game simply refuses to use my CPU! My GPU never goes above 60% usage, and CPU usage hovers between 40-50% as well. I've tried all sorts of fixes, lowering thread render count, increasing VRAM limit above recommended (lowering it too), reinstalling the game.... nothing works!
At this point, the only way to go back to expected performance is to simply brute-force it by getting a newer CPU. Worst part is that even the 5800X3D is seeing performance drops.

DLSS looks better than FSR 1.0
FSR 2.0 looks better than DLSS (in this game)
so if you want performance then use DLSS, if you want the best quality then use FSR 2 (in this game specifically)
and your fps will depend on the settings you play with, resolution and the map so kinda hard to tell tbh

I currently have a 3080ti paired with a 5600x would it be worth me upgrading to a 5800x3d
Save a little more money and upgrade your cpu to a ryzen 7 7700x rather than spending ur money on a cpu (5800x3d) that bottlenecks the gpu
My rtx 3080 gives only 70 to 85 fps in 1080p ultra. My cpu is i7 8700k and i have 16gb ram. I upgraded from a gtx 1080 and there is no perfor,ance improvement. What am i doing wrong?
CPU Bottleneck 100%. And my recommendation would be to add 16GB more of RAM, it will give you a lot of difference as well, do not underestimate the RAM. Cheers!

experiencing any packet loss/burst during your games ?
had it happen once when I was recording the 3060 ti video, but with the 3080 and 3050 had no issues
however, a lot of people have been complaining about it so I'm sure its a common issue

@@BiggieBroJoe_Uk doubt its hardware related, they had similar issues with cod vanguard and I don't think they ended up fixing it
you can try other multiplayer games and see if you're seeing similar stuff with packetloss, if not then you're most likely chilling

also keep in mind the season 4 reloaded update made the performance even worse so that could be it too

Why people still follow the fad of showing games in max settings is odd
For like 8 years now its been known and its even vids and on forums showing and saying the setting right below max doesnt look much different and runs more fps
