    For those of you who dont know, Pedro Marino is a no gi black belt world champion. Jay Rod almost beat him with less experience than the average blue belt. Absolutely insane

      Then how Jay was able to part of the competition although his belt was not black?

      @@youngblood5921 ADCC is a tournament where anyone from any belt can compete. If you win your regional tournament (ADCC Trials) you can go on to compete at the ADCC championships. Jay was able to win out of 250+ competitors in his weight division. He then went on to ADCC and almost beat this Black Belt World Campion.

    Such a good match. I still think though it is difficult sometimes understanding what one of the commentators were saying I think he’s from Tennessee or Louisiana or something is the real country Fella. If I had to guess his real name is Bubba, or Brendon maybe a a country Irish lad?
    Interesting that they mention them starting from just a chest to chest g by h or shoulder to shoulder but one thing is commentators forgotabout , which is understandable since only true professional jujitsu practitioners will know of this since it is learned only during your Jedi training; which is the neck to neck. Master Von spoke of this, where one is to sneck yA.

    • @anonymousreviewer169
      @anonymousreviewer169 Год назад +1

      @@shadymilkman443 The "30 sec more" logic is off. Sure, if it was exactly 30 secs more, Jay would've likely won. However, if it was 30 secs less, Pedro would've won. If it was 1 min more, Pedro might've won as well. You see, this is why the "if it was X secs longer/shorter, Y would've won" logic is faulty. Nonetheless, both were great in this match.
