    25 minutes to tap Pedro Marino and Ryan had to change from the smother to the rear the body triangle hmm it was fun to watch !

    I think a good way to escape the smother choke is to trap the arm with a tricep grip from the bottom, and also trap the leg and bridge in a upa.

    5inches in height and 8lbs in weight is HUGE in fighting! What are these commentators talking about saying it's not that much in size...they wouldn't be in the same weight category in boxing below HW.

  • @Learnjapanesefromsomeguy

    What is it that allows Mr. Ryan to be so dominant? What does he understand about grappling that others have yet to catch on to? He has seemingly 'cracked the code.' Is it on a subconscious level, or does he 'see the matrix?'
    He is certainly a big, strong dude, but that cannot be the reason for his success. What does he see that nobody else seems to not see?

    • @nooneatall5612
      @nooneatall5612 2 года назад +2

      Check his dvds out, its not that he has some mysterious power, its that everything he does is extremely detailed, advanced and intricate. He is just technically decades beyond his competition.

      @@nooneatall5612 "detailed , advanced, and intricate" is way too vague and ambiguous to answer the question in any meaningful way. Professional level grappling, in general, is detailed, advanced, and intricate. To say that's what makes him more successful is basically like just saying "he's so successful because he's really good at it"

    • @nooneatall5612
      @nooneatall5612 2 года назад +4

      @@gregorsamsa1364 Well, that's just not true. You can watch any other competitor teach its not detailed at all compared to what Gordon teaches. I don't know how familiar you are with his instructionals but they make what I am saying apparent. Every scenario is considered and there is just more. I really can't be more specific than this without going into actual technique.
      His replies questions are noticably more thorogh uthan what any other high level competitor has given on the same topic. Or to put it simply; He knows more information.

    I’m an extremely average purple belt and I’m sure Pedro would throw me around like an empty tracksuit but, his mount defence is very poor. Fully extending his arms and trying to bench press Gordon away. At no point does he try to get his elbows inside Gordon’s knees. He probably doesn’t get put there much, and you can see it.

    I seen Jon Jones Tap Dan Henderson I could be wrong but Jon won and it was after he moved up so I forget he what is weight was fighting but well over 205 And I was curious to see just how serious he is about moving to Heavy weight and I thought well he pretty serious I mean he training and competing . So this is the guy huh, I didn't know Ryan was a legend in this sport but I guess he trains with or under the John Dahner system hmm well I can kind of see the trickery it's pretty impressive and unforgiving and to be singing wow that's pretty amazing . Subtle but alot of technical high level stuff being demostrasted
