@Ayyur you can know all the BJJ you like but it'll be useless in a self-defense scenario. Go pull guard or roll for an ankle in a street fight and get your face stomped in. The reason bjj doesn't stand anymore is because wrestlers dominate that domain. No one wants to learn wrestling and judo to become a better comprehensive BJJ student. I've been to many bjj dojos, schools of sitting and scooting. The best wrestler practices all styles of wrestling and judo. This is where BJJ has gone wrong. Before your time judo was half of BJJ but they've eradicated that. It was stand-up to a take-down to bottom game. It's so hilarious watching modern BJJ where both people play footsies on their buttcheeks. If you want respect and honor learn Japanese judo. Way more satisfying than knowing leg locks.
