Very nice camper. I think the deal-breaker for us would be the small dining area. At 15:09 I can see that it would be very difficult to have more than 2 people sit there, as there is some kind of boxy structure protruding into the foot area. If we wanted to eat, play cards, etc with more than 2 people it would be uncomfortable at best or impossible at worst.

@@TheAirForceGuy The only drawback to truck campers is that you have to have a pretty darn tough truck to put it on. Another one is height. Other than that I love em. Gotta watch them clearances.

I truly appreciated the awning show. For those who did not like it they could have just fast forward, so many videos just skim thru and don't actually detail everything and for me, that is why I watch the Air Force Guy. I would have liked to know however what the Alde system was, you just simply said" this is where you can see your level" level of what water? Hydraulic? The way you showed it I thought it was for the jacks but quickly realized the jacks are electric so it had to be some sort of hot water system. I went google on that stuff and now I know what it is for. You did end up touching on it again later and gave the model number (much appreciated) but still did not know it was a hot water heating system. Yes I am still learning campers. One last thing, in my research for Alde Systems I found a video showing the 920 has a bunk?!?!? The cabinets above the dinette unlock and drop down to make a bunk. So far as of this comment, I can't find the weight specs on the bunk. Great job though I truly appreciate the detail work you do, please don't stop!

Nice review. I actually own one of these units and am slowly finding some quirks with the design of it.
I accidentally left the fridge on overnight in the 12 volt battery position. The next morning I went to start my truck and both batteries in my truck were dead in addition to the two 6 volt batteries on the camper. Not a big deal I thought, I’ll just fire up the generator. Well the generator does not have a stand alone battery so that wasn’t going to work. Had to jump start the truck with the wife’s car.
Second issue it the rear ladder on the outside of the unit. The large foam pad on the ladder does not engage the checker plate on the rear bumper when extended for use. Part of the ladder rests on the checker plate thus chipping the powder coat. Tried to adjust the foam pad position but it will not engage anything to keep the ladder off of the rear bumper.
FYI the Handle located in the rear closet with the Alde reservoir is for manually operating the jacks and is not for the rear manual awning. The propane tanks are not auto selecting but are manual. (Unless that option is available that I was not aware of).
The only other issue I’m currently looking at is modifying the heat shroud that covers the exhaust pipe for the generator. The heat shroud needs to be modified to clear my rear bumper and tail light. To temporarily fix the issue I have had to place 2x6 boards under the camper to raise the unit in the bed to clear the interference with the bumper..
In a nut shell I’m very happy with the unit but would like to have seen a little more thought put into the battery/charging design.
Also I’ll have to research the solar power app you mentioned as I wasn’t aware of that info.
    Cheers from Canada.

@@TheAirForceGuy Not necessarily.......a 2000 watt inverter, 200-300 AH in Lithium batteries would do it. Also remember that LP Onan sounds like a buzz saw when it's running and consider how close the exhaust is so close to your living area. Too bad that Onan can't be omitted and knock several thousand dollars off the price......solar/lithium/inverter doesn't make any noise and require any LP or gas.

Sorry that I didn't cover that information. Trucks can be very different. The dry weight of this one is over 2,900 lbs. and will be in the low to mid 3,000 range when filled with options and gear. It all comes down to payload in the truck you are looking at and it must have a long bed. If it were me, I'd want a truck with a payload over 4,000 lbs. to be safe. One needs to consider the truck camper as well as people and cargo in the truck itself. Thanks for watching!
