Looks great. Like the dry weight. Very light.
Thank you for taking the time to walk through the construction of this camper. The 670 (with air conditioner) will probably at minimum need a 3/4 ton truck (i.e. F-250) to have the right SAFE payload numbers. There are numerous examples where owners find out their fully loaded wet weight is 50% higher than predicted (we all like stuff).
Here is a great calculator that helps in the buying decision: Google" 'TC Weight Calculator'. No affiliation to site.
What if you leave everything at your parents basement will this work on f150 ? This way I can venture out and when I get my stuff I can say hi to my folks
What I've learned is the 670 is a prototype and is basically a 720 they been selling for a few months now. They had issues getting the weight down. Later in the summer they should introduce the 620 for the short bed half tons. I have a 6.5 box on my 2015 F150 with airbags and a capacity 2120 lbs so I'm borderline on capacity for 720 dry weight. I'm sure I will have more weight to play with once the 620 comes out but I don't want to lose floor length from the 720. Guess I will have to wait and see. Great video sir!
Thanks for watching.
Awesome!
No more cassette toilet!
I see it has that 💁🏻♀️
Do u have any more videos on the Cirrus 670? I haven't seen any published on RUclips by Dealers or Owners since 2019.
Now NUCAMP design us a fifth wheel for half ton pickups!
What a great video! Very much appreciate the time and effort you put into your videos!! Very detailed, thank you!
Thanks for watching!
That new one really set the bar up high !! The design, style, functionality, the weight !.. Cassette toilet, sleep more than 2 !!.. That's the one i've been looking for ... Waiting for the price to come tough ...
MSRP will be in the $28,000 range
Great video, really very interesting! I really enjoyed seeing how one of these gets put together, thank you very much!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video as always!
Appreciate you watching!
I would REALLY REALLY need a pass-throu window for my pet, otherwise the perfect camper.
I wish they made pass-thru's big enough for adults to get through.
Nice - now a video comparing the 670 to the 920
Never to materialize.
This was just a proto-type and it did make it to market. It was the Cirrus 720. Now, they are working on the Cirrus 620, stay tuned!
I wonder why they didn't make the roof seamless like the 820 & 920? Love the interior look and floor-plan better than the 820 & 920, though.
This one was just a proto-type. They may have changed it for the 720. Thanks for watching.
Did they ever make one that was sit fully in the back of a 5 and 1/2 ft truck bed so you can close the tailgate
Never have seen one of those. They did come out with one that has a dry weight of 1,700 lbs.
This was a great video. One question. I saw in the 650 the kitchen was in a different place. I loved the eating area on the side looking out the window. Has that changed permanently or is it possible to still get that 650 floor plan?
The prototype was the 670, which turned out to be the 720. Now longer available. Next up, the 620.... Stay tuned
Still can't get past the fact they moved away from insulated locking doors in 2021...SMH
Is it advised to get the next year model of this? I'm the type who always love new innovations and such and get the latest new things. But when it comes to reality the new items more often then not have issues. The shower for instance I think its brilliant but the leaks might prove otherwise later on. Then companies address these new issues and build version 2 etc. Just been too much of a tester type and have buyer beware. Being new to rv world if this isnt usually the case for rv purchase then I'll get this when it comes out. If not I can wait (but paying 2.2k month in rent seattle.. I do want out lol and this seems perfect).
That sunroof over the bed. Must be nice waking up and sunlight hitting you and hearing birds chirp :)
Great video Mr.Topgun! Made me a fan.
Northern lite campers are ready for 4 seasons as its clam based like boats. Will this be ready as well? No dense but seeing a young lad spraying glue I was thinking there will be some leaks along the way.
Like anything, one must check and reseal as needed. Nothing lasts forever in the RV World. Thanks for Watching....
Where did this model go in their lineup. Looks like for 2021 they only offer a much larger model.
This turned out to be just the Proto-type model number. When they finished it is now the 720 model. Thanks for watching..
Thanks for sharing, still don't see it on there web site and it's now September.
Sorry, that is because it is now the Cirrus 720. Apparently, the 670 was just the proto-type.
@@TheAirForceGuy Thank you. The 720 is not in their web page lineup either.

I have a 2016 Cirrus 800 camper that has no boot window at the front. Can I cut out an opening and order a frame and window?
I would call the factory to make sure. Best of Luck
Is that right, It looks totally frameless? what do the jacks bolt to? 110v outlet in a wetbath? love the tambour bathroom door, it looks all very modern.not at all like i was expecting the construction to look like. great vid Paul.
It is an aluminum Framed Construction for the Walls, Roof & Floor. That is what the jacks are bolted to. Sorry I didn't mention that in the video.
Great video. I have a Natures head composting toilet that I would like to use instead of the cassette toilet. Is that a possibility to just leave that toilet out so I can mount the composting toilet there? Also where do you get pricing if you want solar or not, electric jacks or not, etc? Can you buy direct from the factory or do you have to go to a dealer? thanks for your help:)
That is something that can be done after the fact. Need to see if it can be deleted.
Will this work on a 1/2 ton pickup.
No, came into heavy.
Do you know if they plan on building a long bed version of the 670? A camper with more capability like having another battery, propane bottle and a generator?
They do not have that planned.
@@TheAirForceGuy Likely just look at the 820
Are they still producing the 720? I don’t see it on their website.
Yes they are. Not sure why that is not on the website.
I e-mailed Nu-Camp about a month ago about the 720 and they responded that it was a limited run this year (2019) but they will be making more (I think they said ~120) this year (2020). Hopefully they will update the site soon.
Good to hear!
Two questions, does the 20 gallon fresh tank include the water heater and most cassette toilets systems have their own water supply, is this one the same or does it draw from the 20 gallon fresh tank? Cassette toilet are a big selling point for me. Hate the idea of being tied to dump stations. Always look forward to your reviews👍
The cassette toilet has it's own water supply. This model is now called the Cirrus 720. Came in alittle heavier than planned. As far the fresh water capacity, it is 20 gallons plus 2.5 gallons that will be in the Alde System. Thanks for the questions!
How about a 1/2 ton pickup with an 8ft bed ?
Do not have one. If they did, it would be way too heavy as well. Turns out this one is over 1,800 lbs.
Ok thanks .I'll look someplace else
Any specs for the battery and solar systems yet?
joel miller ok, thanks for the solar clarification. Do you know the amp-hr rating on that 12v?
I’d like to go with a battle born lithium replacement to help with weight and to improved depth of discharge.
Hi Paul, thank you very much for the tour of NuCamp facility but can't seem to find the 670 on their website.
Is the 670 in production or was it just a prototype?
670 was just the prototype
It’s called the 720
@@TheAirForceGuy And ended up a 3/4 ton camper.
@@watchnlearn1001 That is correct, the weight came in higher than expected at around 2,000 lbs. They are now working on the 620 and are trying to get the weight down to the 1,500 lb. range.
It would be interesting to know if they would do a semi bespoke model for Europe. Mainly for automotive lighting (Europe has amber indicators not flashing stops). 240Volts as opposed to 120Volts that's not a real big problem as there's not many 120Volt items, fridge and AC(not really needed in Europe) which looks look a Coleman unit which you can get as 240V? and the Alde heating is European (Swedish). Other than that few 110 outlets.
It would be great if they did an all electric option, induction hob and compressor fridge/freezer. Lithium batteries could go in the gas box - (hot water / heating is not a big issue :-) )
Do you know the dry weight and max weight - which is dependant on the vehicle please ?
This one is now the 720 Cirrus. Dry Weight 1,850 lbs.Too busy to make any adjustments for a Eurpoean model. Thanks for watching!
@@TheAirForceGuy Many thanks, It's a pity they don't make one nearer to 750Kg (1700lb) dry weight... But I guess the changes I mentioned could be done by myself in the EU
@@TheAirForceGuy I just signed up yesterday for updates on the Nucamp website for the 620 coming out early to mid 2021 for my 5.5 foot Tundra 4x4 which I lifted 6 inches and put heavy duty adjustable shocks and planning to put on air bags suspensions tor further enhance the weight capacity.
Hi Paul, great vid, I live in Europe and are seriously thinking of purchasing the 670 for our 2017 F150 crewcab 5,5 ft bed. (Trucks are hardly ever seen in Europe, we need to go through a 'grey import' procedure). truck campers are never seen here. You had me off guard saying 'they are working on a version for the 5,5ft bed?! I thought this is/was it? Can you explain? Thanks, Dick van Leeuwen, Netherlands, Europe.
Thanks for Watching.
No, the 670 is for the 6’ beds. They are going to make a 620 for the 5’ beds. The 670 is over 1,600 lbs. and that will be way too heavy for a 5’ bed.. they are going to shorten the 620 and shave off some weight.
I spoke with NuCamp when I was there last week, before filming this video and that is when they told me about the 620. the 670 is not for the 5’ bed trucks. They understand that the length and weight is too much for them as well as being too heavy for some 6’ beds.
@@TheAirForceGuy they are making 620 too? That's awesome. I dont mind it getting shorten as long as table to do work , bed to sleep and toiletry. Is 620 in production and fit f150?
I LIKE THERE EUROPEAN DESIGN GOOD TO SEE TIRED OF GRANDMOTHER DESIGNS
No price or specs in the comment section
No, they haven't given me any of that information at this time. Should have something in about a week or two.
Just FYI at the Tampa show they had 28k on the prototype that was on site. But obviously that would change depending on how it was spec’ed
@@TheAirForceGuy just in the video you said the price and such would be in the comments
@@CrazyDog-lv1yq Nealy the same price as the 400 seems too much to me, was hoping for it to be in the low 20 range
I did and unfortunately at this time I do not have it. I will post it as soon as it is available. Sorry for the delay.
Is it a 4 season camper???
Yes
