For Honor is an action game developed and published by Ubisoft. The game allows players to play the roles of historical forms of soldiers and warriors such as knights, samurai, vikings, wu lin and now an outlander faction. For Honor is constantly being updates with new heroes, new executions/finishers, new emotes, new effects and hero reworks/nerfs/buffs. For Honor has 35 heroes available across all factions:
Knights:
Warden, Gryphon, Warmonger, Gladiator, Peacekeeper, Conqueror, Black Prior, Centurion, Lawbringer
Samurai:
Kyoshin, Kensei, Shinobi, Orochi, Shugoki, Hitokiri, Aramusha, Nobushi, Sohei

Raider, Shaman, Berserker, Warlord, Jormungandr, Highlander, Valkyrie, Varangian Guard

Remember that with arumusha, you can use blade blockade as a recovery after finishing a chain or as a hit recovery and that the light attack does more damage than the heavy attack follow up, with the heavy being more of an antigank than an offensive move and the light being a single targeting but high damaging move. The only reason you'd use the heavy is if you want a confirmed execution in duels.

Holy shit I’m not one to quit matches ever but what you did to that nuxia second round actually woulda had my blood boiling. That would have been my last match
Edit: afeera has way too many tools.. if she’s gonna have superior block get rid of the crushing counters that don’t even make sense with her weapon.. having both is just nasty
For real. I was a Nobu main and stopped playing some years ago, but I would've been pretty upset had that happened to me.
crushing counters make sense. In the animation she uses her shield to block the hit. Though I admit, superior block is nasty

@tyler8918 Yeah, valk always felt like the jack of all trades heroes, though. She has an all guard (though a bit less prominent nowadays), a crushing counter, and a superior block pin attack. Her side light finishers throw opponents into walls, guaranteeing a heavy attack. Her heavies even last long enough to be considered undodgeables if thrown in the right direction, similar to raider.
Afeera did sorta overtake valk in things like rushdown and bash offence. But I think valk still remains the ruler in utility.

That second round was brutal!!!!
2:40 was a great first round comeback, well-played (and the rage quit came just a round later). And the crazy effect at 13:18 was strange, I had no idea and execution/effect could cause that quite noticeable disruption in lighting. The glad at 7:49 was a complete tool, and a fairly poor player too. Probably just salty he got absolutely crushed by you the previous rounds. They say "hate always comes from below" so this is a pretty obvious demonstration of that maxim's validity. Interesting seeing you play Aramusha, I actually got absolutely manhandled by an excellent Aramusha in breach yesterday, so I went into training to get used to fighting him again and was reminded of just how awesome he is, having tons of fun with him. Especially love the full-guard kick if there's a wall or ledge around. Nice fashion for a Samurai, too. And props to Cashydude, very good Warden. Everyone have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend.

I play For Honor since April and Afeera still makes me feel like everything i do in this game is fucking pointless.
She has literally everything and is unpunishable, she's literally an easy mode for those who don't want to get good at the game while people like me or those who came first busted their ass to get good.

I think what gets me about this game rn is that they buffed warden so hard and the whole community is like "why he no strong?" He's broken but his kit is so simple. A chargeable, feintable bash should not exist.
It's literally the core of this game is reads. There are multiple other characters with feintable chargeable bashes.
I just wish he had a bit more stamina
@NitraZone go on then, make that read everytime. There is a difference between forcing your opponent to make the read, and just using the LITERAL strongest bash in the game and saying "sHoULd'VE mAdE tHe REad. Pros cheese other pros with warden because he's so brain dead simple. I would know, playing since beta.
@@herculeanhistorian making the read is what differentiates you between other players, top players know how to make reads really well coupled with the fact their reactions times are about 120 ms. If that was really true, all high level players would be using warden. That's not the case. Most high level duelists use shaman, Valk, tiandi, or afeera.
@NitraZone Afeera and Tiandi are both feintable and readable. Valk has a press and hold all guard that can be GB'd. Warden gets more damage off and can continue his combos with his CHARGEABLE AND FEINTABLE bash. Don't get me wrong, you get all the timings right, wardens become a joke to fight. Regardless, no one should have a chargeable and feintable bash, it's either or. However, I will say that the fact wardens Stam is shit kinda makes up for it, but still.
