In hi skool 1982 I had a '78 Ttop Z28 gold with tan interior, kept it til 1990 & traded it & some cash for a Bandit Trans Am...wish I still had both! ✌💖☮
Nice. I see the comment below about lifting too soon but that guy knows when to get out of it. That's why you see all these videos of people crashing out on a burnout, they don't know when to get out of it they stay in it too long.
One of the coolest looking cars to ever come out of Detroit!! I have a 79 Z-28 myself, absolutely love it!!! How much is this one? Would really run with some good head's on it!!!
@@jonskywalker7256 He can drive just fine .he knows once in 2nd or 3rd if the rears are spinning physics can take over fast and throw you off the road. He let off at the right time.
Is this a good first car? I'm 16,5 now and I'm about to start my license journey, since I was 12 this has been a dream car and when I started looking into it, I realized that they only go for about 10k which comparing to some of my other dream cars is crazy cheap and I've got 1,5 year to save up the money for it and well I just want to know if it's reliable. I know gpm isn't very good but well I'm only young once so I need to enjoy it while I can right? I would love to know your thoughts on this
Take someone with you that knows these cars well. THey can be perfectly reliable but depends on a few things. Easy and cheap to fix, fun and cool. No computers to depend on hard not to want one
Anyone that you would probably find won't even have a floorboard anymore my dad and me rebuilt one had to do a lot of body work everything else on it feathered age decently
I use to have a 72 el camino with a 400, I had a buddy with a 6.6 trans am, and another friend with a camaro with a 454 shoved in it, and another buddy that had a 72 ranchero gt with a tricked out 351 Cleveland. The rancheros was the fastest out of the four, then my el camino, then the 6.6 TA, and the camaro was the slowest. The funny thing about it, the only car to ever beat the ranchero gt was a Volkswagen rabbit turbo from red light to red light. Lol.
Always liked the looks of that car, but as far as power, they were an embarrassment to the Z-28 nameplate. I helped a friend with a 400 small block build/install. .030" over, aluminum heads & intake, good carb and headers. It ran after that!
Personally I don’t care what car it is when you are trying to sell a car I think you should show what it’s got and what it can do. Some may not agree but that’s the way I feel About it. At least show the balls that they have when you floor it wether that be from a stop or from like 20mph. That being said I enjoyed the video this is one mean camaro!
Makes a lot of noise and doesn't go anywhere. Probably has the stock 10 bolt rear in it with leaf springs. That engine will tear that right out of the car. This one feels safe because it's not fast. Engine looks like a 454 stroked to a 496, NOT a modern truck 8.1 litre... Cheap job of just riveting on an L88 scoop instead of buying a hood. Makes you wonder what other corners got cut while they were building it.
20,000 in receipts? 496 stroker? 575hp? quite possible maybe, just pay what it is worth and what it is worth to you, as cool as they are maybe they can give you a great, deal. the body and paint looks good and solid i am a paint & coatings specialist. 🙂 you should know everything about the car you are buying. i am just jealous of this car for real although i do not covet it. i would like another 78 through 81 model the last year of the second generation camaro. Maple motors sold some of these around 30,000 to 40,000 you can find them between 20 & 40K built nice. i can build you a 67 bird or 2nd gen for that brand new with incredible quality and better items involved. the touches i like about the car shown are the gated shift and interior. i blue print engines and shall dyno it and give you real numbers and then we shall dyno the car also. And tune the car as an entire work horse package. i am willing to do it for no money except cost on account of things getting pricey for the average car, the wait shall be some time although well worth it and well worth the cost. My reputation is first.
How much.i had a 305 1978 non z28.got a lot of tickets.i don't think the motor is original Trans also.its a cruser nice but not a # maching car.i would offer 8000.00.
See this this bs. Several people have asked about the price with no response. I went to the website and no price u less your enter all your info in. This is why dealers that do this still have the cars. Guarantee if it was a 10-15k car and it was listed it would be gone but who knows because they have to play games and hide it. Sad that dealers do this. Most don’t
That's a l88 scoop and whoever put that on there did a terrible job using pop rivets to attach it to the hood the fit and finish of that car is awful and that lower quarter panel behind the driver side door is not straight that is a thrown together car
Love the sound of old school American muscle, music to my ears!

Yup. Probably the visual definition of "with great power comes great responsibility "
SWEEEEEEET!!! I've got a 78 Z28 just went through bumper cover to bumper cover. Little bit extra though. Runs a 10.32 quarter mile and it's legal😅😅
I love this Z28 body style! nice car.
I had a 1980, built 350.A lot of fun, sure miss it.

Cant drive for shit or is being safe not to tear up the car the way he let off instantly and the car jerks im going with not a driver
