Very interesting - I still can't decide if the little bird coming to my window is a Tasmanian Thornbill, he's very dinky & has a sort of rasping "Hellow" call - we have lots of rose bushes, tea trees and other scrubby bushes around our rural 1-acre of garden, lots of Fairy Wrens, Eastern Spinebills, goldfinches, blackbrids & too many pesky Noisy Miner birds. Shall check out more of your videos, lovely filming (just wish I could mute the music!!) I love hearing all the birds and finding out more about their intriguing antics.
I love thorn bills,
I watched n wached again! I just love it.
This channel is golden. Keep up the amazing work Plumes of Oz!
Loved this video. Incredible skills filming and photographing these birds that are really tiny in real life! As you said they are delightful.
Thank you for your research and efforts to reveal the identity of these little wonders.
Beautifull
Thanks so interesting and informative.
Thank you
I'm in Hill Top, NSW and I've identified Brown, Striated, Yellow and Yellow-rumped Thornbills in the same spot 😊
Thats a bonus, I usually have to walk Kms to get more than3. Thanks for sharing.
Such good description and info. Thanks so much, I have found it quite difficult identifying the Thornbills of my Southern Tablelands rural backyard!
We all have the sane ID problem. Thanks for the comment.

Cool ty
Such a terrific lot of info. Thanks so much. But the music is so annoying when I'm trying to listen to bird calls. Can you please not use it?
