The Furitek - FX118 Fury Wagon is my rig of choice. I went with a FX118 Fury Wagon for my local comps because the Furitek - FX118 Katana & Hobby Plus - CR18P Evo Pro has an angled skid plates & would have forced me to be put into Class 3. Class 3 is extremely brutal & has the best possible custom built rigs to compete against & you have to be willing to spend big bucks to just be competitive in Class 3. But using a Furitek - FX118 Fury Wagon allows me to be in Class 1, Class 2, or Class 3 & can be very competitive with only a few simple modifications in Class 1 or Class 2.
Funny I just put the furitek combo into my Scx24 power wagon same orange colour. Took several attempts to get the mesh right but it’s loud and clicks.. I’ve got brass weights steering servo waiting on wheel and tires
Both nice rigs ....im liking my 118 scale trucks, but if I do buy another 124, it will probably be the Axial power wagon above the other 124 rigs .Thanks for Sharing....Harry
Thanks for the video, Ihave the 1/24 Power Wagon and looking at the Fury Wagon. Think I'll get it now. Also, you have a link to those two black metal looking drawers?
It’s a solid truck - you won’t regret it! Here’s a link for the mini toolboxes, but the availability is spotty. www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-Mini-10-83-in-2-Drawer-Black-Steel-Tool-Box/5014017009
@@ljw2896 I have come around to the axial way more since this video! It’s hard to beat a brushless Furitek system, but I gotta give axial credit with their power wagon. Thanks for checking it out!
I just dont understand why people cant drive smoothly. Even with my brushed vehicles I'm smoother than most, i guess rc flying for years teaches you some things.
Let me tell you, driving one handed while also trying to film at the same time is tricky! Haha I’m way smoother when I’m comping and don’t have to worry about talking and filming.
Keine schöne Kameraführung, sehr unruhig, von dem Schaukeln wird einem fast schlecht. Und die Vorzüge des Brushless werden durch den digitalen Gasfinger auch nicht gezeigt. 🤷♂

I have the exact same game plan with mine! Glad to know how competitive it is with minor upgrades!

Sounds like a solid build! Can’t go wrong with that orange power wagon.

They’re a solid choice for sure! Thanks for checking it out!
Nice comparison of two radically different platforms. I subbed.
Thanks, I got you back! And yeah, this was not a fair comparison at all, but somebody had to do it! Haha

@@CK4RC Awesome! Thanks for the info
I have the FMS FCX24 Power Wagon. I love that little truck. Just changed the wheels and tires so far.
In stock condition the price difference should be about 1:4 - i love my modified SCX24s though.
I love Axial for what they’ve managed to do for the world of mini crawlers!
You are goign to love the CR18P Evo Brushless, it is soooo smooth!
I’m super anxious to get it on my course and get a test run with it!
Axial should have won way more controllable

Hard Body vs Lexan.. lol
Yes sir! Scale detail versus competitive performance. haha

Axial crawls way better
