Just pulled the trigger on one of these, as I'm a massive fan of the CR18p platform. Any body suggestions? I want to do a whacky scale sleeper build for it, tbh!
For $200 you're getting a lot in an 18th scale RTR. What would be cool, though, is if some of these RC companies would think about releasing a Dodge Power Wagon at some point. I agree with you, like the Jeep Rubicon, there are not enough of them.

So i bought the fury tek fury wagon and 2 days after i bought it it quit moving forward only reverse so then i downloaded the app udated firmware and it will go forawrd but no reverse unless i change it in the app and now it will not charge so very dissapointed in this truck. When it was fully functional the first 2 days it was awesome now not so much
@scalebuildersguild yes they want a video so they can show the warranty dept problem is sending a video is a major PITA on my phone. So last email i sent them i told them i'm shipping the truck back to them and we can go from there

I don't have that radio, so can't confirm, but as I showed in the video, I couldn't get the included radio to bind, and bound it to another FlySky radio I had, so chances are good!
Pretty sure those are plastic beadlock wheels. This is by far the best deal out there for this scale. The esc makes this thing so great. That's always the weakest link on others and on this is the strong point.
@@scalebuildersguild did they do some updating/changes what have you to get rid of the glitching problems? That’s the only issues I’ve had with the 3 lizard pros I’ve had. Other than that, when they worked they were great.
The black body with flames does look cool. Great overall deal, esp for those who want to try a proper crawler in a smaller scale w a solid elec tronics setup.
The body is a pass for me, but the chassis alone is worth it. As for modding it, I say you 3d print a Pinto body, paint it a rusty brown and add an exploded gas tank in the back.
So I have like all my crawlers, are power wagons, so didn't want this again same old body damn it. So can anyone actually tell me number 1 crawler or at least top 3, not 10, that's more of a race.
Ughhh 🙄 I know companies want to make it affordable for everyone to crawl by keeping costs low but enough with the small scale stuff. Keep it at 1/10 call it a day. My 2 cents

Honestly, it strikes me as a TRX4m with upgrade chassis rails and brushless electronics. It's honestly a really good deal for $200.
It would be neat to see the steering servo chassis mounted.
And a hard body.

I don't love this body style but the platform looks good. I'd want to put a scx or trx4m high trail body on it if possible.
The wheelbase is pretty close for the TRX4M but the SCX might be too big. Thanks for watching!

What would you choose this or the FMS FCX 18?
You get a substantially better power system here. It's not nearly as "scale" but a much better driving experience in my opinion.

Not that I'm aware of, at this scale anyway I'd stick with 2S. I don't think it's capable of running 3S.

Those wheels are beadlocks.. not glued.. they are 1.2’s.. there is a fair amount of upgrades available for it..
