Hey love your videos!!
As someone who lives in the uk big home aren’t really a thing. I know you said u would like upstairs built on ur house. I have a question if u already have 4 rooms what are they all being used as haha . I live in a one bed property with me and my partner and 60/70 plants 😂 I don’t know what I would put in 4 bedrooms haha
Hi Melissa have you ever used leca ??what do you think about leca?Thank you ❤️
I haven't used leca :) I just prefer the look of pon and once I started using it and loving it there wasn't a need to give leca a try for me.
❤️
I had been stalking a tetrasperma on RPF for a while and someone bought it. I was so sad lol I think it was the one you got. But I went on Etsy and found a beautiful one that was bigger and I’m so happy with my new plant. I’ve def gone overboard the past few months. I need to ban myself but it’s so hard
Plant bans are so hard! 😂 I need to put myself on one after these last few months 🙈 I purchased mine a few months ago now - the tetrasperma. Glad you found a new one! 🥰
@@plantsbymelissa yessss. I wish I had people in my life who get it. They all think I’m crazy. After I saw your black velvet variegated growth, I may have ended up buying one. That’s the one that starts the ban 😂 but it’s so pretty!
I highly encourage you to give pottery making a try! I think you’d do really well!
I definitely think it would be really fun and i'll have to give it a go sometime here 🥰
just food for thought, i used to shoot and upload in 4k, but lately just do 1080p because it takes less time to upload and nobody can tell the difference lol. not even me. its freed up a lot of space on my camera!
You need to add a multiflora wonderphil it’s a variegated multiflora. Its silvery in color but striped
is power si the silica you use?
Your tshirt is too cute!!
Thank you!! I got it from a TikTok shop hehe
❤
💖🌿
You’re amazing! I sell a big round of props 3-4 times a year, just locally. A weekly restock must be a lot of work! I have less space though as every bedroom has people in it. 😂 I’m trying to make a go of YT though so hopefully that works for me even a tiny bit as well as for you! ❤
Thank you! 🥹 Definitely go for YT 💕🫶 you'll never know where it can lead. I didn't think I could do it and talked myself out of it for so long. Just post and keep consistent and you'll find your audience 🤗
@@plantsbymelissa thank you! I was so scared and put it off for months but I’ve got one video up now and one more uploaded for next week!
What silica do you use?
By saying you feed twice a week, does that mean you are watering or just giving it a drink of your nutrients?
some plants get nutrients twice a week specifically the larger plants like my moss poles and any plants in pon that seem to drink up the water more quickly.
I spoke too soon. My multiflora looks different. I’d like a cutting or small plant of yours when you propagate it.
How do you keep all those things spiders🕷️ 🕸️, snakes🐍, 🪳, bugs, alligator 🐊 (anything that can get in a greenhouse) out of your house?
The house feels more safe than out there 😂
I would just rather… not die. 😂 I totally get the greenhouse thing.
😂
Omg, hate bugs too
As long as the world continues to be so ugly, plants will always be beautiful!
❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
I’ve been battling mealies on my hibiscus plants outside. I’ve done everything to get rid of them and they always come back 😡 I loathe them so much
Ugh, they're so annoying! Sorry about your hibiscus plants 🥲
💚💚💚💚
OMG you came from Ohio, I am born and raised in Ohio! small little town though, i could not imagine living anywhere where there is alligators and worry about snakes getting inside. I also am in the medical field just a Medical Assistant though, I ldo love my job and I understand how stressful it can be and in my little town we do not get paid that great however I do still love what I do "most of the time". I love this vedio learning alot and nice to just have a nice sit down while ya working and chit chating at the same time. I want to buy a plant same thing your selling to fast good for you though lol!
aw yes! I was born in Ohio and moved away when I was 18 to NC. Very small town as well 😁 Medical assistants are so important! I worked as a nurse assistant my last year of nursing school and it made me appreciate NA's/MA's even more when I started working as a nurse. It's a tough job and definitely couldn't do it without their help 🥹💕
@@plantsbymelissa. I started as a CNA and tats what drew me into nursing. The nurses were doing more interesting things than the cnas. But I do miss the care I gave a a CNA. You get to spend more time with the patients.
❤❤❤❤❤🤗🤗🤗🤗
I am moving away from my Melo too. I hate it 😂😂😂
You should treat your property with Sulfur for the snakes.
🤍🤍🤍
i think your husband should help you out too🤷♂
He’s offered to offer but the desire isn’t there and I can’t force him into the hobby. He’s not a plant person so I don’t expect him to want to learn. It would be easier for me to hire someone down the road when the time is right who actually loves plants and wants to do this :-)
@@plantsbymelissa Im always up for hire😄
This! My husband supports me buying plants but doesn't care for them 😂 It’s okay because he likes video games and I don't. That's marriage compromise 😅🤣@plantsbymelissa
@@Jessica_Pinzonsame here!
