He basically welded the door shut with his heat vision. By killing everyone in that department, he trapped her in there until she starved or dehydrated to death while stuck with nothing but the bodies as her final days
The point was to prove he couldnt care less about love and approval anymore , no more humanity and he wants her know they failed to "program" him I think , think it was to prove her wrong and if she dies there she dies knowing that
He is trying to get rid of his humanity, and I guess he thinks that killing the people who raised him will make it so he won't feel like he needs to be loved. His fucked up childhood is the reason for his attachment issues, if he can prove he doesn't need their love he convinces himself he doesn't need love at all
@@magicxifyshe does however make a very good point regarding his attempt to leave his humanity behind. The fact he comes back, after all those years, to torture his former tormentors (and, well, some unrelated scientists) is... Petty. Understandable, maybe, as far as we are talking about the killing of his tormentors, but this decision is born from a **human** feeling for revenge. It is somewhat paradoxical, but by coming back and exterminating them all, in an attempt at further detaching himself from his humanity, he actually inadvertently ends up cementing himself as even more human in nature.
It is to prove point that why Homelander called it Badroom. So he wanted her to experience about it. That means as baby, he is fully aware about surroundings, he has conciousness. SHe treat him as a monster
Does anyone else think adding the bit about psychologists making him that way kinda undermined his character? Its no surprise he ended up that way on his own
In a way, but if you think about it, it fits the company's character. Control by fear, reign in with a want for love. They had to do all they could to ensure those two points were hammered into him.
When humans treat humans (empowered or not) like monsters then they are consciously choosing to raise other humans AS monsters. No babe is born with violence or anger in their mind- those are taught. She plays such a good evil nuance character here
I love how says it like it’s his fault for being born that way even though since the very beginning he’s been a vought experiment. Like seriously you’re trying to create the most powerful human to have ever existed and you think his birth is going to go smoothly?😂
Bro, absolutely not in this case. You cannot choose the other solution if you don't know any. What you said it can be applied to A-Train or SB, which were raise in families, worse or better but absolutely not for Homelander, who is basically a Unit 731 survivor with superpowers. Imagine Magneto going into some laboratory and finding out that half of stuff there are German scientists, which experimented on him and got his family killed. He would be as cruel as Homelander here.
With power like that, You can either choose to make sure the things that happened to you never happen to anyone else or choose to be cruel like he has. Following these ridiculous comments logic, people who’ve lived safe productive lives never turn out to be bad people, because they weren’t raised that way. 🙄 That’s laughable
What's sadistic about this scene, before this homelander has been a emotionless psycho always faking everything. But this, making the people who put him through hell when he was younger feel fear of him and killing almost all of them, actually puts a genuine smile on his face

Earl’s mom got into some crazy shit after he finished his list
I kinda feel bad for Homelander 😥
His childhood is tragic. But a shit childhood is no justification to be a shit person
You really shouldnt
Don't he's bad and yt and yt man bad according to amazon
@@SketchySkullKnightBraindead take
@@SketchySkullKnight didn't know Stan Edgar and A-train are good guys
She’s blaming a baby for killing 4 people. What did they even expect to happen when a baby born with powers showed up?
As much as i dont like homelander he isnt responsible for what he did as an infant, people like her created homelander and are shocked when they turn out evil af
Not that it excuses homelander hes a grown ass man now
A grown ass man wich never got experience a childhood or teenhood, so he didn't developed mentally yet
Honestly this was the only time i rooted for Homelander. Even though everything he has done is absolutely unforgiveable this deaths i rooted for Homelander. This is a scene you could see in Deadpool for example, a nice revenge to the TRUE perpetrators of his torment and not just to innocent peapole.
What did he do before he entered the Lab? Everyone was freaking out a were trying to alert before Homelander came. And its HM so...
I guess she may have some kind of dementia
bro dont spoil yourself because this is a really good episode
He killed all the guards obviously, probably with laser vision.
I honestly think this is one of the best episodes of The Boys I've seen in so long.
Omg I’m so sad for him. So sweet and innocent 😂
The janitor needs a raise
I know he killed everyone in the end grumsomely but what was the point of it at the end. Especially keeping the lady alive.
The comic panel of homelander's birth goes so hard
Whats crazy to me is people out there think he isnt the bad guy 😑
No one actually thinks that. To be honest, everyone in the show is pretty evil.
Environment+Upbringing. It matters.
She killed his own mother 💀💀💀 when he was about to born
It was a surrogate. Not his actual mother.
They may not be infinitely powerful, but there are "Homelanders" everywhere. Stay safe.
@@patman_for_sure True but gnerally feel season 4's writing isn't quite at the standard it was
@@jackduncan5311 I get you
A lot of people share that sentiment, and I can see why
I imagine homelander being born like dogma from the binding of isaac
if his skin is invincible, what did they use to cut his umbilical cord with?
When humans treat humans (empowered or not) like monsters then they are consciously choosing to raise other humans AS monsters. No babe is born with violence or anger in their mind- those are taught. She plays such a good evil nuance character here
Shes either going to starve slowly or very fast
vought will eventually get her out
I love how says it like it’s his fault for being born that way even though since the very beginning he’s been a vought experiment. Like seriously you’re trying to create the most powerful human to have ever existed and you think his birth is going to go smoothly?😂
HOMELANDER IS BETTER
trying to make homelander look badass just makes you look like a psychopath
With all the money and power Vaught have, you would think they would invest in good therapy and psychoanalysis of their superheroes 🤦🏽♀️.
John Homelander is a wild name. 😂
It’s doesn’t matter how you’re raised. Power corrupts but there’s always a choice.
That's very not true. How we're raised has a massive impact on us, but there is still a choice for a healthy mind.
Tell me you were coddled without telling me.
Dude he was being literally tortured every day from birth to late teens by a bunch of doctors and scientists.
With power like that, You can either choose to make sure the things that happened to you never happen to anyone else or choose to be cruel like he has. Following these ridiculous comments logic, people who’ve lived safe productive lives never turn out to be bad people, because they weren’t raised that way. 🙄
That’s laughable
Plot twist for next season-Homelander battles AIDS.
Sigma 😎
She really talked herself into this
What's sadistic about this scene, before this homelander has been a emotionless psycho always faking everything. But this, making the people who put him through hell when he was younger feel fear of him and killing almost all of them, actually puts a genuine smile on his face
the music gives the atmosphere to this series💪😏
Granny tried to pull a Stan Edgar and got the worst death out of all the others.
