Hello guys!
First of all, I want to thank everyone that liked my edit, it means a lot to me! It seems that a lot of you are very disappointed because of the lack of Rebels content, even though, people voted for Clone Wars in the majority of the case! 😅 I have a solution, what if, in the future, I would make an updated edit with rebels clips? Would you all be interested? Of course it will be different from this one, not so sure 🤷🏻♂️

Honestly this song kind of fits with Echo as well, since he survived the clone wars and had a lot of wounds too, and he's half droid now, pretty much.

Not just him, he survived an encounter with Ventress and proved strong willed enough to resist her mind control AND clever enough to tip off Anakin that something was off.
Works perfectly for rex considering he has been shot and gone through hundreds of explosions and god knows how many battles

This soldier, no, this captain, is by far one of the biggest legends and badasses of the cartoons of my childhood 😭❤.
I stopped watching Starwars after order 66 😥, but the reason why I started to watch it again after many years was to find out what happened to him.

Man this is poetic and amazing
There are only 3 clones in the whole series who can possibly earn the title "Unkillable Soldier." Those being Rex, Fordo, and Greger (He did die once but came back swinging and he only died again once the fight ended). Would have added Cody to the list but sadly he died in the comics at the hand of Vader shortly after the raid of the Jedi library. Would have loved to see some stuff with him in the 'Rebels' series showing how he was still kicking some ass even in that age and out of shape slightly. Cannot wait to see the Sarajevo video since that is my favorite from that list and I am thinking it's going to be about Gionises but do what you like.
There are so many things to choose from for the rest it makes me so excited to see what you chose: Valley of death being about the assault on Kamino, Hellfighters being the freedom fighter Twi'leks, an irony of the song Versailles about Palpatine seizing power and ending it all? The list can go on and on
For real, I agree with you with the Clones you chose, there were so many brave brothers throughout the series, although like you said those stand out!
I gotta say I considered putting in some clips from « Rebels» but there were already so many amazing moments from the Clone Wars and I couldn’t decide which ones to take, I went nuts! 😂
I could maybe rework another version for the future? Who knows!

@@masteroftheassassins Fair point there. I originally did not want to put him on this list since he turned to more of a machine than a man while the original mad despised any form or replacements. But credit where credit is due none the less.

I just hope we get more of him in the bad batch. Scenes that really delve into his trying to find a purpose after the war. His big character Arc in the clone wars was him becoming an individual. I want him to have a second one where he tries to understand what that means and becomes one of the founding members of the rebel alliance

Rex was by far one of if not the best written clone of the franchise the only 2 that closely rival him besides Cody are:
Fives - as he gave the best line of the show when he says "I DO SUPPORT IT I DO BUT I AM NOT JUST ANOTHER NUMBER NONE OF US ARE"
And 99 - as despite only being in 2 episodes of the the third season before meeting an unfortunate end whilst fighting alongside his brother's he's one of those characters who was so well written he made a huge impact on fans despite a short appearance and even had a clone commando team named after him and even saying a line that was similar to what Plo Koon once said

Rex probably hated that he was essentially unkillable during the war since he lost many brothers around him meanwhile he could take just about anything and not take long to get back up sad reality especially when you factor in what Cody said

Rex does mirror Sir Adrian in a few ways, but he's definitely more of an Auddie Murphy, the further along things got the more he was forced to see his comrades die and it just weighed on him more and more. Also unlike Sir Adrian he didn't lose any appendages (see Echo or a few others) or his eye (see Wolffe). He also never really had any legendary moments that would earn him the Chancellor's cross (Fordo earned but requested it be given to the trooper who dove in front of him to block a sniper) as anything that he did along those lines broke protocol and would have gotten him a demotion (or 5); meanwhile, you have Sir Adrian who manages to rally 3 battalions on the fields of Passchendale after their CO's had been killed and while he was chucking grenades he primed with his teeth (remember missing hand) he would give them orders that would eventually see the triple-entente seizing their objective and would subsequently earn him the Victoria Cross.
2:59 that 2 second long scene was sadder to me than order 66.

Legends for both Rebels and Imperium. in Alliance as beacon of Hope. In Imperium as warning and Scarecrow. And for pity I would just won't say times when he has cheated death.

honestly if Rex had died it would have made order 66 look like a happy light scene, Rex is THE clone trooper, the symbol of the GAR and the last non Jedi surviving veteran of the clone wars (apart from generals who never even saw the front line), I would rather watch any other character die than Rex, that includes all my favorites like Maul and Sabine.

Clip order, length of clips, and musical usage actually do make it his property. So long as he can prove it was his first. While he may not own the actual footage or music, he could prove that he created the combination in this specific way with this specific song first.
Watching Rebels was a waste of time they killed off some of the best characters or had them join the empire like a pathetic soap opera if they wanted to do a series they could have written a series based upon the jedi who survived order 66 and the empire even writing about the yuzhang vong war could have been an interesting story just make sure disney does not screw it up

@@thecollectorhimself007 I did not see the whole series but it is difficult following a series when some of your favorite characters go bad or get killed personally I would like to see someone endure like the Neti jedi Tre Saa She was a jedi who survived as far as the One Sith era I do miss the books and I was happy when darkhorse began doing the comics again but seeing a fresh twist that remained true to the actual story line would be excellent It would be great seeing more from the old republic and legacy eras I was fascinated to have read the story about Ood Bnar who live during the time of Exar Kun and how he lived to save Luke Skywalker
