Steamboy was one of the best animated movies I've ever seen, it has a very nice stroke and animation, an interesting story and even though it's a rather old movie (released in 2004) I believe that it has aged well and continues to be a good movie .
Yeah it is just sad that it didn't make back enough money so sequel got cancelled and that a lot of people remember it as a failure for that reason....

US mostly blocked the showing of AKIRA in cinemas in most states because hollywood producers demanded it. Hence, only a few states showed AKIRA in cinemas. That's why most teenagers pirated AKIRA and spread it out across US during the 80's. Go check it out.

Lowkey i was planning on writing a Historic fiction novel set in the Victorian era where steam engine technology is paving a way into the future and this captured what i was envisioning but in a more accurate way of applying steam tech in warfare and industry idk if i still want to make it considering someone already beat me to it ngl tho if this is an actual anime or western cartoon series i would love to watch it
I would say go for it as well. While the movie is good, its weakest point was the final act. Story and character wise, it felt more like things being wrapped up rather than concluded, dispute how brilliantly the finale was executed. (Plus a few problems in pacing, especially around the train scene and zeppelin scene right after. Wasn't enough cool down time imo.) So yeah, if you wanna make something like this, make sure it's paced well, and give it a really good ending, and you'll probably have made a better story than what's in This movie. (It is still a good movie though.)
@@ashipnerdoffical4260 thanks the world i had in mind would be a more made up one where i would take the different cultures of Europe and fuse them together, it's set in the mid or late Victorian era transitioning to the early 20th century i also plan on adding some fantasy elements to the story and so on i still haven't written it since im busy with work tho i hope to start writing it right around August . it's gonna be similar to Iron Hearts in the concept of having steam powered Mechs, mobile fortresses and flying steam boats hahaha all sorts of shit i hope to make this as soon as i can, this is also going to be my first major project so yeah am excited

i cried watching this atmosphere a music from people who sing a lot about tragic fate of my homeland durning WWII and a fuckin steamboy that made me cry too since its beautifull gorgeus animation music characters and the portray of this war how soldiers are literaly treated like cannon fodder by noble just like in real life never knew it will fit togheder so much

Также была поддержка с воздуха в виде планера с паровым двигателем, одним человеком на борту и бомбой нагрузкой 1 ручная противотанковая граната. После обстрела дворца с моря дворец и дом-государство пало. Хотя экипаж дирижабля-паротрамвая это не остановило, и был проведён рейд на вокзал соседнего государства. Продолжение этой войны не указано, но наверное после рейда у дирижабля кончилось топливо, воздух в шаре остыл о он мягко приземлился, а его экипаж был пойман и осуждён.

It takes a Japanese animators to make the most proudful western looking animated movie you'll see, ever! This is like Europes wet dream during the first decades of the 21st century.
You made the trailer for the version of Steamboy I wanted to watch. Don't get me wrong, the movie is certainly worth a watch (even if 'only' for the visuals and concepts), but it could have been epic with a bit more focus, better pacing and a slightly reworked plot. So yeah, if you wanna make something like this, make sure it's paced well, and give it a really good ending, and you'll probably have made a better story than what's in This movie.

@@ashipnerdoffical4260 thanks the world i had in mind would be a more made up one where i would take the different cultures of Europe and fuse them together, it's set in the mid or late Victorian era transitioning to the early 20th century i also plan on adding some fantasy elements to the story and so on i still haven't written it since im busy with work tho i hope to start writing it right around August .
it's gonna be similar to Iron Hearts in the concept of having steam powered Mechs, mobile fortresses and flying steam boats hahaha all sorts of shit i hope to make this as soon as i can, this is also going to be my first major project so yeah am excited
Someone should send the creators of iron harvest The link to this and tell them this should be the British DLC because that would be amazing and let them know they should also work on the shogunate as well

and a fuckin steamboy that made me cry too since its beautifull gorgeus animation music characters and the portray of this war

Мульт на фоне: атака на дворец превосходящими силами английской полиции была отбита мини космодесантниками в стиле стимпанк вооружёнными дробовиками,
Однако после контр атаки английских паротанков пришлось отступить. Благо ответная контр атака башен-паукопаротанков враг остановился. Также была поддержка с воздуха в виде планера с паровым двигателем, одним человеком на борту и бомбой нагрузкой 1 ручная противотанковая граната. После обстрела дворца с моря дворец и дом-государство пало.
Хотя экипаж дирижабля-паротрамвая это не остановило, и был проведён рейд на вокзал соседнего государства.
Продолжение этой войны не указано, но наверное после рейда у дирижабля кончилось топливо, воздух в шаре остыл о он мягко приземлился, а его экипаж был пойман и осуждён.
Стимпанк, дизеля там ни капли)

It takes a Japanese animators to make the most proudful western looking animated movie you'll see, ever! This is like Europes wet dream during the first decades of the 21st century.
You made the trailer for the version of Steamboy I wanted to watch. Don't get me wrong, the movie is certainly worth a watch (even if 'only' for the visuals and concepts), but it could have been epic with a bit more focus, better pacing and a slightly reworked plot. So thank you for creating a great trailer for a decent-ish movie.
