Finally, in three months I was able to find time (it was night) and make a video in honor of 50,000 subscribers. In the summer I will try to make content more often)

@@EmanGameplay it absolutely is, the story is terrible, the characters are annoying, and the dialogue makes me want to repaint my ceiling to various shades of red. However, the animation is fantastic and makes it worth a watch.

@@milesohearn3609 It's kind of meh. There's some really impressive animation and visuals, and the steampunk porn is top tier, but the movie itself is pretty whatever. It's quite long too, not sure it's worth spending two hours to watch.

I remember watching this as a kid and having my mind blown. To put things into perspective, my only other experience with anime at that point was Speed Racer.
The timing between the anime scenes and the song are pretty well done...seems 100% timed successfully to me. Well done.
Steamboy was one of the best animated movies I've ever seen, it has a very nice stroke and animation, an interesting story and even though it's a rather old movie (released in 2004) I believe that it has aged well and continues to be a good movie .

There is a story behind this sentence. At a ball, while dancing with a young lady, the king noticed that she had lost her garter belt. It was considered a highly intimate underwear at the time and an incredible shame for the lady to have lost it, even worse as she was dancing with the king. Meaning, shame to all those who'll gossip about this.

Same. I have no idea how an anime that was (apparently) this high-profile and expensive, with such big names involved, is completely missing from anime discussions.
I wonder if this is how Game of Thrones will be from here on out. Anyone who wasn't there for it will have never heard of it if it gets brought up again in the coming years, since everyone just simultaneously erased it from their memories.

@@delphicdescant probably US blocked it again in the 2000's so that it won't become maintream in the world. Given that this anime is topnotch, and made by people behind AKIRA. Hollywood's big names like Disney is afraid to toppled by Katsuhiro Otomo since Steamboy is superior than any Disney animated movies in terms of quality. That's what US did with AKIRA. US mostly blocked the showing of AKIRA in cinemas in most states because hollywood producers demanded it. Hence, only a few states showed AKIRA in cinemas. That's why most teenagers pirated AKIRA and spread it out across US during the 80's. Go check it out.

I dont get why people dislike this movie, it has incredible fight moments and the UK literally pulls out the weirdest tank. The best bit is how the civilians are like "Oh wow!" before they get bombed.

Omg, my fucking memory have finally returned, I thought I did never remember what I just watched, I only remembered vaguely as a child about the bully getting hit on the head, and the gentlemen who later died at 4:09 , I was 8years old at the time, its crazy how time flies. This was a dream film. I swear following conqueror of shamballa 1 year later, they have this similar look on eckhart's armor, the death of her look terrifyingly having the same influence as the gentlemen at 4:09 . Thank you for giving me back my memory btw.

Мульт на фоне: атака на дворец превосходящими силами английской полиции была отбита мини космодесантниками в стиле стимпанк вооружёнными дробовиками,
Однако после контр атаки английских паротанков пришлось отступить. Благо ответная контр атака башен-паукопаротанков враг остановился. Также была поддержка с воздуха в виде планера с паровым двигателем, одним человеком на борту и бомбой нагрузкой 1 ручная противотанковая граната. После обстрела дворца с моря дворец и дом-государство пало.
Хотя экипаж дирижабля-паротрамвая это не остановило, и был проведён рейд на вокзал соседнего государства.
Продолжение этой войны не указано, но наверное после рейда у дирижабля кончилось топливо, воздух в шаре остыл о он мягко приземлился, а его экипаж был пойман и осуждён.
Стимпанк, дизеля там ни капли)

Lowkey i was planning on writing a Historic fiction novel set in the Victorian era where steam engine technology is paving a way into the future and this captured what i was envisioning but in a more accurate way of applying steam tech in warfare and industry idk if i still want to make it considering someone already beat me to it ngl tho if this is an actual anime or western cartoon series i would love to watch it

I would still do it. There is always a place for steam punk stories in the world of fiction.
I'd say go for it. Always interesting to see different takes on things like this.
I would say go for it as well. While the movie is good, its weakest point was the final act. Story and character wise, it felt more like things being wrapped up rather than concluded, dispute how brilliantly the finale was executed. (Plus a few problems in pacing, especially around the train scene and zeppelin scene right after. Wasn't enough cool down time imo.)
So yeah, if you wanna make something like this, make sure it's paced well, and give it a really good ending, and you'll probably have made a better story than what's in This movie.
(It is still a good movie though.)
@@ashipnerdoffical4260 thanks the world i had in mind would be a more made up one where i would take the different cultures of Europe and fuse them together, it's set in the mid or late Victorian era transitioning to the early 20th century i also plan on adding some fantasy elements to the story and so on i still haven't written it since im busy with work tho i hope to start writing it right around August .
it's gonna be similar to Iron Hearts in the concept of having steam powered Mechs, mobile fortresses and flying steam boats hahaha all sorts of shit i hope to make this as soon as i can, this is also going to be my first major project so yeah am excited

but yeah, dont think anyone have ever managed to strap a hot steampowered iron suit on and walked into battle with it, and feel like if you think about it for a bit, the answer to why that is becomes pretty obvious lol

I left the DVD for this in the TV in the break room at work. Even the old guy that hates " those Japanese cartoons" thought this movie was good.

Looking at firearms. Throughout the human history, surviving battles was very common, before the invention of firearms. Most man worked on the fields and were necessary. Their deaths would mean plagues and starvation. But with industrialism, man were no longer necessary, and with firearms, surviving battles became a rarity.
