  • Daniel Janzen, Professor of Biology at U-Penn, shows you an easy trick to remove the pit a peach, nectarine or any other stone fruit without ruining the fruit. Clean and easy. Just 2 simple cuts! He is eating an organic nectarine from Frog Hollow Farm.

    I was really skeptical because I sure thought the pit in this example looked like a freestone, but I went right to the clingstone peaches in my kitchen, and sure enough, IT WORKED! Thank you so much, Daniel, for sharing this video with us. No more fighting with clingstones for me. :)

      First time watching but and Still...3 yrs later, that was funny as hell!!! I was searching to understand how, out of 15 POUNDS OF PEACHES, I got maybe 4 halves that don't LOOK like I was on acid while trying to separate 'em!!! 😆

    That was not a cling stone fruit (nectarine), my 1'st trimester baby can pit a freestone fruit anyway you cut it....waste of time Maestro !

      I must be a 2 week old fetus bcuz I just effed up 15 lbs trying to get halves! Lmao!!!
