I just found it and man, what a great community you have there! Very happy such long videos still appear today, completely agree - it's the best format to me as well. Greetings from Manchester! :)
So good. The world needs more of this - more long-form non-vlog-format movement that tells the stories behind the movement and showcases the spirit of the community.
Enjoyed watching this knowing you all continued doing what u love for so many years is amazing great work all of you always seeing you in Leeds and Wakefield proud of you all aka don't know if you remember me but its Terry I used to train and film with Jaron luke and Ryan keep at it my lads
What a piece, I'm glad to see that there are people creating things like this, long format videos where you can show that camaraderie that doesn't fit in a small reel.
I am a skater, but I prefer watching parkour because of the lack of rules. Skating was that free form once, but the community imposed it's own rules to a large degree, and I find it's far more repetitive nowadays, especially compared to the free flowing freestyle times, then Rodney ushering in modern skateboarding. It feels like it peaked mid nineties to me, where parkour still has things to uncover.
It was very interesting to hear your opinion on skating and why you prefer watching parkour. Thanks for sharing and here’s to hoping the free flowing freestyle skater days come back! 😊
@@wyparkour There's some light on the horizon, Andy Anderson is doing a lot to break down some of the barriers, wearing a helmet for example. As well as bringing a lot of that old school freestyle spirit to his tricks and lines. Wouldn't surprise me much if he got into parkour at some point, he's got that use of space mindset.
team Farang has a really good video teaching some basics, there's also parkour gyms in many countries now but you can also get a friend and hit the streets :)
the ever familiar sound of dom saying "3,2,1" always lets you know shit is about to go down.
