    With support from the global parkour community - thank you to everyone who supported our Kickstarter and made this project happen.
    Help this film transform the way people see our sport by leaving a comment and sharing it with your friends, families, and communities. Let's keep moving the needle forward with the stories we tell in parkour.
    From Renae and Lisa:
    This film isn’t about gender inequalities or the sexualization of women in Parkour or the experience of being a woman in male-dominated sports. This film is all about highlighting high-class Parkour athletes pushing their boundaries and the boundaries of the sport. Gatecrasher follows 8 female Parkour athletes as they travel through three European cities over the course of three weeks, training, exploring and having a great time.
    This film is for the girl in Parkour class looking for role models who send hard. It’s for the athletes needing motivation to explore their city. It’s for the practitioner looking for new ways to move, and for everyone who played with the idea of giving Parkour a try and hasn’t found the courage to do it yet. If you like to move, this film is for you.

    • @mcruz4571
      @mcruz4571 Месяц назад

      strange, under your logic a woman could not be the role model for a man and viceversa, if your "role model" is a "role model" because she/he has the same genitals as you, then she/he is not a true "role model", is just a projection of your internal need. For example, a good person is a good role model because they are a good person, not because of the sex they belong to.

    Seriously mad respect to all of you and thanks for being a great role model for the future generation 💚
    It reminds me so much of the raw and awesome skate videos of my youth - and us trying to attempt the stupid shit. And of course the exhilarating feeling when something worked

    What an extraordinary edition! What an epic video! What an extraordinary group of girls, who are at the highest level of parkour! It was a delight to watch the video until the end! And I repeat again; the editing is fantastic, the level of images is stratospheric, the music, the angles, the locations, everything was perfect! Form a group, give a name and you will make history! In fact, this video certainly put you in history forever!

    I can't even propoerly express the emotional journey I had for the last 40min. I was really looking forward to this, but wouldn't have dreamed of the inspiration I would get from the given piece of art. So many unique, strong, creative, beautiful lines and challenges. All paired with honest emotions, showcased in a way I felt connected while watching. You guys honestly made me (mostly happily) cry like a dozen times. Thank you!

      I had the exact same thought! - not that I can say anything negative about parkour videos in recent years, since I'm out of the loop, but this reminded me of the pure joy in the early videos from the UK lads etc. Just a bunch of friends enjoying life and banger soundtracks. Makes me smile

The freedom of expression, confidence, natural appeal and pure joy being shown here is so damn attractive.

    I'm all for the sport, but when 1 minute in I have already seen 3 acts of careless destruction of property, I really can't keep watching. How hard is it to just check the materials and surfaces, _especially_ when you're making a movie that's trying to inspire people to get into parkour...

    A friend of mine randomly put this on and I ended up watching the whole way through. Gave me some good nostalgia about the old parkour montages I used to watch when RUclips just started being a thing. Aside from the insane stunts, I love how much fun everyone has hanging out together (also holy hell, Tam's muscles 😳)
