Main goal of these video concept ideas:
My main goal for these kind of videos is to be as creative as possible!
Let me explain:
- Firstly, my very first channel Mixeli (But also my latest one Volipok) post tons of Gameplays from Every Generation (Which once again was played and recorded by myself in it's entirety. It took me many years of works.)
My video have Educational Value and let me explain why: It does provide help to the user who watch the video. One of the few example for that is which musics is played from my gameplays. It could easily be found on video cards (The exclamation mark "!" you see on the video above at the right) and vice versa. (This mean that on this video for example, you could also find my actual battle gameplays of where this music is played)
- Secondly and as you have noticed: On each Generation, I use different background that I bought on a website called Shutterstock. (Which I have bought at least 336 pictures background, just so I can become as creative as possible and also work on a lot of different style using those background)
This kind of concept was created by myself since 2011. Today it has become one of the main concept of my channel that I personally created.
- Lastly is to bring the community together. I have noticed that so many people are commenting and giving their opinions on the video, sharing their experience about characters from the game, confirming theory, saying funny stuff and I find this extremely amazing and interesting! I don't want their comment to be unnoticed so I have plan for the future of my content about commenting and sharing their experience on videos that I will produce one day!

*Big Update* even if I don't have much time.
Next year should be the year where a lot of original Idea will come on both my channel.
Unfortunatly what I promised this year didn't happen because I worked on my first channel mainly but now I'm almost ready to share with you my amazing stuff and make one of my dream come true.
Even if I will not finish it next year because it's took a lot of time to do, I definitely planned to begin my stuff in 2018. Please be patient.

Always liked that these guys were wearing eclipse-viewing glasses. Coming from a dimension where Necrozma ate all the light, Alola must have been BLINDINGLY bright.
They most likely have a general sensitivity to the light. Their suits leave very little skin exposed, so I can only imagine the sunburns they'd get without them...

Anyway The Ultra Recon Squad theme always reminds me as a mix between The Noble Haltmann + Plasma Colress theme

The Alolan greeting is based on a rainbow, and the Ultra Recon Squad do it in a more robotic way, making a square, because they didn't have *natural* light in their world. So clever

Perhaps. I also think we never see them without suits because there is a large pressure difference and they can't hold it, but for Alolan people it's completly fine

I have to say, the Ultra Recon Squad really is a mixed bag. On the one hand, I was so happy and intrigued whenever they showed up on screen, and loved how they interacted with the other characters. On the other, though, because USUM's developers reused too much of the Aether storyline, they weren't allowed to be the assets to the plot that they otherwise could have been.
That's honestly USUM in general:
Awesome concept, horribly botched execution.
And not trying to be or sound pretencious, but the plot we ended up getting feels like a first or second draft.

Wouldn't say _horribly_ botched but it definitely has quite a bit of wasted potential. Still a pretty good game, nonetheless.
I love these guys in a vacuum, they have an interesting story and are a ton of fun.
But thanks to them Lillie and Lusamine's story arcs, aka the point of this entire generation's story isn't in USUM.
I would've honestly preferred to have them as a post game thing and retain the phenomenal SUMO story

A lot of people wished they did more with these games, especially with Team Rainbow Rocket. I mean the story was okay, but it could have been so much better if they incorporated TRR and had them throughout the game as well as after beating the main story. Ah, well. Back to X/Y and ORAS for me.
Exactly how I felt. Especially regarding the Ultra Megalopolis. I was hoping for a full on alien town with stuff to discover and maybe some encounters around it. A proper otherworldly experience. But no. We got a corridor of a street, a tower you only visit once, 2 NPCs that don't have much to say, and a building we can't even enter.
I mean, it's still a cool addition but it feels half-baked and just leaves me wanting more.
I agree, the ultra recon squad and the idea of other world ins general felt a bit wasted, my favourite usage of it was the team rainbow rocket episode, which actually used the idea to some degree

Spend basically entire screentime forehead smashing 'new villains' button... Never actually does anything remotely evil or even MODERATELY UNFRIENDLY. If the Ultra Recon Squad has a marketing department, either the aesthetics of Ultra-megalopolis is the only truly alien thing about them or they really like making fun of other worlds.

@@MidnightCapricorn2696 And it's also silly because Dulse expresses confusion as to _what a tunnel is,_ while over in Ultra Moon, Phyco knows perfectly well what a tunnel is and he's more curious as to how it was built. Dulse is an idiot and I love him.

Despite the Ultra Recon Squad not having much of a presence, if you think about it, they’re pretty much the whole reason for the changes to USUM’s story. They came to that version of Alola specifically to warn them of a threat that could have befallen any other dimension with an Alola. They’re the reason Lusamine’s psychotic ass is trying to use Nebby to stop Necrozma instead of opening a portal to the Nihilego dimension. They’re the ones that contained their dimension’s Necrozma (cuz apparently there can be at least one per dimension since the original SM is still canon along side Ultra) until it broke free, kicked Lusamine and Guzma’s asses, and trailed them to Alola right at the moment Nebby evolved. And they accelerated the Aether Foundation’s research on Ultra space and their development of specialized tech, allowing for Giovanni’s takeover to be even easier since he now has the means necessary to bring in the other past antagonists as well as ultra beast for him to use as an army.
So in other words they screw over everything when trying to do good. -Im- It fit them quite well really. XD

Uh yeah Alola's introduction to all of that messed me up so much when I played. Everything hit nonstop.. it was ridiculous.. but I enjoyed every minute of it 😂
I think it's hilarious that the SM protag just goes to catch necrozma before it becomes a legit threat and nobody ever mentions it again
I got Ultra Sun and as I went throughout the game I was shocked they were the good guys, but you could TELL. Dulse and Zossie are the two lovable goofs who are trying to do their jobs and then stay in Alola and Zossie is just fascinated by everything, I love it.
Ultra Moon player here. I was freaked out by Phyco and Soliera up until Ula Ula Island when they just had a chill conversation with Hau and the Player.
However, the turning point was in Aether Paradise when I battled Soliera again. The player was about to interfere with Lusamine's plans (which the URS didn't want to happen) but then this dialogue happened:
Soliera: 'Captain, they are only concerned with Cosmog's safety.'
Phyco: 'Wouldn't it not be kinder to stop them here rather than letting them face that thing?!' (Necrozma)
And then Soliera looks away as though she's considering it. Her next dialogue is in ellipsis hinting that she REALLY doesn't want to fight you.
That scene hurt me a little. They can't be villains if they worry about the kids' safety. :(
(Also Phyco later insulted Lusamine to her face, so that was cool)

I also have Ultra Sun (as well as Ultra Moon). Encountered these two after the Iki Festival and I had zero clue why they were there. I've wanted to continue the story but I'm stuck on Ilima's trial. That freaking Smeargle, man... can't believe I started with Popplio...

Zossie's always talking about how she wants to do the Island Challenge herself, so maybe you could fight her after enough time has passed. Other than Naganadel, which is an obvious choice, it'd be interesting to see what her team would consist of considering God only knows what she likes.

Seriously, look at what Pokemon has evolved into.
It's strange comparing the first games to the newest games.. Pokemon's come a long, and I mean very long, way.
It went from gathering up pets to win a blood sport competition to interdimensional strife revolving around stealing entire suns while battling multiverse crime lord coalitions.
I really like the more plot focused games, it makes people like me who aren't the biggest fans of competing get even more enjoyment out of it.
You forgot the part that we're saving the world as 11 year old kids that are staying up way past our bedtimes
Is just evolved like how yugi oh evolved into
Vexenity 11 year old kids that also regularly go to places that no sane adult would let them anywhere near, including but not limited to: Active volcanoes, huge deserts, freezing cold mountaintops, and of course, the secret bases of crime syndicates and inter-dimensional worlds home to extremely powerful and dangerous creatures that could kill them in a heartbeat were it not for the fact that they have magical creatures of their own to protect themselves with.
I've never realised there's four of them and only remembered two.
Gotta respect these power ranger guys for having Waluigi in thier squad.

I had fought a couple in the wild and they can take a beating. Here I was thinking they were fodder but so far for the one I caught its holding itself quite well and now with a Silk Scarf on its dealing more damage.

The story is so different to the originals, the game is packed with extra little details and subtle improvements which improve them as a whole, there are whole new features like mantine surf, photo club, ultra warp ride, you can go to every ultra beast's ultra space, you can catch every legendary, you can even get totem pokemon. Plus post game story of rainbow rocket. Need I say more?
This is definitely one of the best battle themes out there. It's REALLY too bad you only battle one of them a few times and cannot fight them post game.
It is and I hate that they're split between versions. What kind of crap is that? Would have been great to interact with all four of them throughout the game instead of two.

So from what I understand, after playing through both games, in terms of rank, Phyco's the captain, Soleria's his assistant, and then Zossie and Dulse are just kinda there.

The Ultra Recon Squad were alright as characters, they could've done so much more with them but they were still alright.
Their biggest flaw is their battles, their teams always consist of a single Pokemon and they never try to build on that ever.
These guys are supposed to be kinda like rivals, you meet and battle them throughout your adventure. and storywise they're supposed to be testing you to gather data and see how strong you are.
Is it ironic that the updated version of Gen 7 is also in need of an updated version?
I guess that's not happening now though.
Maybe someday in the distant future we'll have fans asking for Alola Remakes, especially now that Pokemon has become a full-time home console series.
I want a game focused on Ultra Space. I wanna play as one of these human alien(?) characters and see more of their world.
It'll be a nice change of pace from exploring regions inspired by real countries. An entirely sci-fi/alien-based "region" or straight-up generation...
