I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxgioZQl3J5wPGAeDINzbieKbT5qomSEx3 There are some huge trees around my house and the leaves and pods drop all over my deck. Having to move furniture around to sweep has become too big a chore. This blower was the answer. It is light enough for this 70yr old lady and powerful enough to blow all the tree droppings off my rather large deck. Thank you B&D. Be aware the cord is not included. I use a 3 prong outdoor cord 25' cord for my 12' x 20' deck. The cord retainer works very well, but don't try to pass the plug through it. That is NOT how it works. You just have to loop the cord and it works great. One of my best purchases. Very happy.
I have the echo 8010 and it is a BEAST! Did my neighbor's yard yesterday that was covered in old decaying stuck in the grass leaves that his redmax 8500 wouldn't budge and this echo 8010 blew everything right up and moved it all onto the driveway. Even raised up and blew 3 grass snakes along with the leaves LOL. There's not much that this blower won't move. Seems like around 4HP to me, whatever the power output is it is outrageous and this blower is worth every red cent I paid for it.

@@jbstepchild Cute story my ass, I had a redmax 8500 since 2011 and it was a badass blower until the echo 8010 came out this year. I just got the Stihl BR800c. I love it. I tried the Echo PB8010T at GIE I liked the power and it had more power. When I got home I talked to my service manager about the Echo & the Stihl. He said that they have had no problem with Stihl but with the Echo they have replaced a lot of motors on them. Even though the Echo blew harder they are having problems with their motors & engines. Keep that in mind.
The 8010 has my pick. Side start is a little overengineered imo. Good workers prime and start the blowers on the racks/tailgate and once they don PPE and walk to the leaves its all warmed up. Plus the Echo has a big air cleaner (far less maintanence) and is lighter with better pads. I will take all day comfort and less maintanence over valved 4mixes and a side start that hasn't been proven for long term abuse.
Don't let the failed start detour you away from buying the Stihl 800.... They weren't starting it the correct way.... You do a 1/4 pull then a full pull and it starts up everytime.
Yes, would love to see the new PB8010 and the BR800 head to head. The old PB770T held its own but looking at the spec sheet is like comparing an F350 to an F150. Have a hunch the PB8010 will outwork the BR800. At least the spec sheet shows Echo having more volume with slightly less MPH. Please do the test. Thank you
Stihl took a lot of time and development into making this starting system, it may not be perfect at this point however the unit should start up much easier than you guys made it out. I am guessing the user turned the choke on initially but then when he put it on his back he pulled the throttle which then turned the choke back off immediately, this unit needs to be choked and the bulb should be purged also before each cold start. If all of the above was done correctly then something is broken or defective on that unit I’m guessing. Echo makes great blowers, however Stihl makes the best on the market when it comes to backpacks and handheld. I know some of you guys are going to swear by Echo, Shindaiwa, Husqvarna, Redmax, Maruyama etc. But in the end my opinion is that Stihl Blowers last the longest if taken care of and properly maintained. I'd personally love to see a new top of the line blower battle video. I would find the results very interesting! Up to this year, I have used mid size blowers on my jobs and at my house, mainly Husqvarna. Throughout working for different companies within the industry, I've used Echo (which I loved) and RedMax (which I fell in love with more, due to their amazing power). Therefore, this past spring, I bought a RedMax 8500, to help me with my mowing and clean ups, throughout the year and so far I love the blower! As from what I knew at the time, the RedMax 8500 was the best performing blower on the market. But now after watching this, I noticed the Stihl blower had some really awesome user comfort options and then there's the new Echo, which I had no idea about and looks sick! Personal RedMax 8500 review: Power wise, the RedMax 8500 is on point; it can move a yard of heavy wet leaf's with ease. Weight wise, its heavy but manageable; the strap cushions do help bare the weight some but a chest and waist strap would benefit immensely! Lastly, my RedMax is a bit of a gas hog but I guess that's the price you pay for power. Love my blower all an all, it has made my fall cleanups much easier and has allowed me to pick up a couple extra accounts (which at the end of the day, better performing product=possibly for expansion=MORE MONEY) I definitely support the making of a blower battle video, as the result will influence my next blower purchase. Thanks Stanley, keep up the good work man! SNOW SESSION IS AROUND THE CORNER :)

Great video as usual, the old guy running the Echo does a better job blowing, he pays more attention to detail. The young guy who is running the Stihl does a poor job. The Stihl blower allows one to blow faster, faster doesn't=better job.
Echo over stihl any day, echo has cleaner results on the turf, while this stihl would have to pass twice. And the stihl barrels are to heavy and can’t swing as fast
I'm a Stihl fanboy. But i ran the echo for a few days prior to purchasing my last blower. I did not like the fit anfld feel compared to the stihl. I ended up buying the BR 600. I didn't feel the extra expense was worth it. But again. I'm a Stihl fanboy!

I just sold my Echo 770T a week ago along with my Husky 580 BTS to purchase the Stihl BR 800X and I can say without a shadow of a doubt the Stihl is more powerful than both of those blowers. It's lighter, fit's my back a lot better and it scours leaves better. I have no regrets selling both of those blowers to purchase the Stihl Br 800X, IMO it's just a nicer blower overall.
Used many Stihl blowers over the years and they are excellent, however I wouldn't swap my Husky 580bts for anything! Saying that, if you fit the flat nozzle you better have strong shoulders as it tries to rip your arm off!
We have 4 of those BR800 and 3 of them died already. All 3 had the exhaust valve break.. We had 5 BR600 before that and all had valve problems.. Stihl old BR450 were bullet proof but these 600 and their new 800 just don't last.. We are going to try the Echo to see if they last better. No it's not a fuel/oil mix problem

What it comes down for me is how long and frustrating is it to crank, stihl and husq were all hard pulls on the cord and took like 5 minutes to get them going and staying alive. The Echo has a way easier pull and stays cranked alot easier. This was on all very used machines, my echo cranks a lot sooner and is way less fussy than those two brands. I have no xp with red max so can not say anything good or bad towards them. I just know I don't want to be yanking on a Stihl or Husq for 5 minutes with their recoil...
Thanks for your video . I got my stihl the other day. Its American made. What's cool is its quality like my Indsin motorcycle. I'm proud of it. Runs smooth . I dont have to wait till its warm like I do my echo. I can start it and go to work. The echo I have to baby sit
echo 770 all the way. much quieter and less vibration. love the hip throttle. lets u hold the tube whatever way you want without having to keep holding the trigger/handle
tbt..Normally you can be kinda dorky in these videos... But either way you still produce great stuff..And I appreciate the info you produce. But, the best part of this video that got the like button was 13:05 when you tell him "this isn't a dealer pro video, this is a dirt money video." bahabhahahaha that was hysterical !! another good video. Great stuff keep it up.
it's not only about the size of a blower extext just in this video it was shown that if you really knoe how to blow , work , you can move any blower in the world and get the same results.
Thank you for everything you do I don't talk to much but y do watch a lot and thank for reply me you put a long lasting smile on me ,God bless you and family. 👍
Was looking at getting a Stihl BG86,but after this video I need to get a BR800. I don't have the leaves to justify the purchase, so I will be planting more trees.
We use Redmax Relax at work. Personally I use Echo but that was before I knew any better. Hands down you won't beat the power of Redmax, but will develope back problems. My opinion comes down to the performance of the operator. Sometimes it's better to use a good machine that is comfortable, and thus able to work longer, than have a bunch of power and kill your body.
stihl is the most comfortable backpack hands down....my back kills after using the echo 770h's all day but I can run around all day with the stihl br700x no problem
Hugh Jafro if a vacuum sucks, it doesn’t suck If it doesn’t suck, it suck Does that mean if a blower blows, it doesn’t blow, and if a blower doesn’t blow, that really blows?
When your back feels good you work better that why I like the still blower better because it’s light. The echo is very heavy 24 pounds bad for your back.
Stihl absolutely needs to start getting an online presence. I mean name me one other consumer item that you can only get at the dealer? People say...O... its a Stihl.... they don't need to be sold online. Yeah.... in 2018 thats a prescription for failure. They make good stuff but Im willing to bet Echo out sells them, and in the end..... its all about the bottom line. I just hate to see another American company (ok quasi American) FAIL... because they cant get with the times.
Sorry after 20 years of using sthil I'm turning back to redmax blowers and shindawa weedeater. Ever since they went to the 4mix systems it has been nothing but issues, yes the valves are adjusted. But they are to hard to start and run rough with no low range. I have a redmax blower we use that is a 20 year plus old blower and it starts on the first pull every time. We have a shindawa t27 that I have been using for 25 years and it starts on the first pull every time and out performs the sthil today. I have given sthil chances to properly work under commercial conditions but the last set of units I bought are now failing again. It is not that I don't know anything about the business, I've been in business since 1980, I've used every machine made to come to my decision on residential and commercial properties cutting up to 180acres a week. I have a heavy heart to turn my back on sthil
Echo's blower is better than stihls this time around. But let's be honest, that's not gonna make that much of a difference, the br700 is one of the best backpack blowers on the market and it blows at 165 mph and it's my favorite piece of equipment, that volume is where the power is though not the mph, but the br800 has the mph AND the volume so it's gonna be a great piece of equipment I'm just waiting for my dealers to start having it in stock. As for which one should you get, you can't go wrong with any of them no one's gonna tell you you're an idiot if you go out and buy a br600 those things rock I've never used one but every major lawn care company in my area uses them and they all love it. Same thing with the br700 the dam dealer can't keep those things in stock they sell like candy from what the dealer told me. You can't go wrong with the new husqvarna either idk the model number but the specs are beastly. Same thing with the new redmax 8550 hell even the older 8500 which people rant and rave over that thing. Depends on what your brand is you can't go wrong with any of them.
Sthil and you’ll be done faster with your day. 2 stroke have to be choked every yard and have to warm up, less fumes too. But I do like the echo too even though it shocks me lol
Stihl not a big fan . I finally started making a bit of money this season so decided to go with there products. I a chain saw .and one of there changeable heads and let's say first 3 uses great first pull started right up them they both are more trouble then anything. I'm not the warranty type of guy or a return type . I just let it be lesson learned. Funny thing is I ha e always used the cheapest product out there which is ryobi and let me tell u definitely will never stay again. Remember all just because it cost 5,6,7 or 1000 it does not mean it's the best . Good luck all and hope everyone makes mega bucks 2020 Merry Christmas to all .

Please use echo against stihl. I would appreciate that
Will do!
A three way battle of the blowers would be awesome!
Do we know these engine sizes? Are they the same, or is one with larger displacement?
Do all three blowers, head to head! Absolutely!
echo 770 all the way. much quieter and less vibration. love the hip throttle. lets u hold the tube whatever way you want without having to keep holding the trigger/handle
alex l Iyou are the dumbest idiot I’ve ever seen
tbt..Normally you can be kinda dorky in these videos...
Lol, thanks Devon !
it's not only about the size of a blower extext just in this video it was shown that if you really knoe how to blow , work , you can move any blower in the world and get the same results.
All Stihl products break, and fast 40 years landscaping and every time have bought anything Stihl always breaks and impossible to work on
Noted! Thanks
Yes want to see the new Echo/ Stihl comparison
I just bought a Husqvarna 580bts and it snowed... I can't wait to try it out!
Yes sir that would be nice to see...great video 👍
Thanks so much Patrick !
Thank you for everything you do I don't talk to much but y do watch a lot and thank for reply me you put a long lasting smile on me ,God bless you and family. 👍
Agreed that should include price...
Was looking at getting a Stihl BG86,but after this video I need to get a BR800. I don't have the leaves to justify the purchase, so I will be planting more trees.
Douglas Spencer
I would like to see all three blowers in use with prices.
Would never buy anything that hard to crank
Husqvarna blower has proven great for me surprised your not comparing against them
Yes that would be an awesome comparison stihl vs echo vs redmax
We use Redmax Relax at work. Personally I use Echo but that was before I knew any better. Hands down you won't beat the power of Redmax, but will develope back problems.
My opinion comes down to the performance of the operator. Sometimes it's better to use a good machine that is comfortable, and thus able to work longer, than have a bunch of power and kill your body.
Jonathan-david Hammer the echo pb 8010 shits on your redmax
Stan, another great video comparison.
Thank you Don !
Hey Stanley I Just Seen the 800 Today and You Are Read my Mind Thank you for this Video 🤩
No problem Glenn, thank YOU for watching!
3:31 WHAT CROSSES BEHIND HIM TO THE RIGHT???
Indiscreetz looks like a skunk.
its my pet fox
Stihl vs Echo vs Redmax... All biggest newest blowers!!!
stihl is the most comfortable backpack hands down....my back kills after using the echo 770h's all day but I can run around all day with the stihl br700x no problem
I got a Echo PB580 and it sucks! Which is unfortunate because it should blow.
Hugh Jafro if a vacuum sucks, it doesn’t suck
If it doesn’t suck, it suck
Does that mean if a blower blows, it doesn’t blow, and if a blower doesn’t blow, that really blows?
When your back feels good you work better that why I like the still blower better because it’s light. The echo is very heavy 24 pounds bad for your back.
Stihl absolutely needs to start getting an online presence. I mean name me one other consumer item that you can only get at the dealer? People say...O... its a Stihl.... they don't need to be sold online. Yeah.... in 2018 thats a prescription for failure. They make good stuff but Im willing to bet Echo out sells them, and in the end..... its all about the bottom line.
I just hate to see another American company (ok quasi American) FAIL... because they cant get with the times.
What are the CFM's of each one.
If all these videos have taught me anything...its that i need a Franky on my crew!
yes we for sure need a 3 way comparison
Def do a 3way heads up comparison!
Was that a fox running by at 14:10?
Im curious too!!!
Yeah this dude has a fox as a pet.
Not a fair comparison. Not a fan of Stihl anything. They have some good things but not the best at anything.
What drone do you have Stanley?
2 way or 3 way I love your videos full stop Stan .
Thank you !
What blower you guys suggest for mon commercial clean up of 2 acres of leaves?
Yea do the comparison from the new stihl and new echo awesome videos by the way.
I love my Echo 770T, but I think my next one will be this Stihl.
Depends on what your brand is you can't go wrong with any of them.
choke levers constantly break on guys. like the back drop music
Thank you!
Yes to the echo,please .
Price wise you can't beat a echo. I've had mine for years. It is awesome. No way my echo blows so much better than the one your using.
Yes, put the new echo up against the new stihl. I do like the side pull started on the stihl..
Did anyone notice the animal in the woods at 3:22
Yup like a skunk 🦡🦡🦡
Heck yes! Get the new Echo out there....AND BE BRUTAL!
Sthil and you’ll be done faster with your day. 2 stroke have to be choked every yard and have to warm up, less fumes too. But I do like the echo too even though it shocks me lol
It snowing there yet?
Yes , it snowed already !
