Sad this show went downhill. It just didn't go anywhere. After season 2, it just repeated the same struggles of the resistance against the same antagonists.
I absolutely love this series. I found it to be a good prediction of future technology with a great story premise. I am huge fan and this series is definitely under appreciated.
That First season was magical and drew me in. The Second season was good but...didn't quite have the magic. Everything went to complete shit by season 3. I heard studio meddling was the reason it went so wrong.
Agreed, and NOT kill off Boone. However, with the magic of AI and Deepfake, we could keep the first season and pick up where the show left off in the first season. A wild suggestion, but not impossible.

Far as I'm concerned, EFC was a single season limited series. It begins and ends with Boone. Season 1 stands toe to toe with some of the best scifi of the 90s. The other seasons though, are trash that declines further and further with every season. It's shameful what suit meddling did to this. Season 1 had so much promise.
I firmly believe, had they kept the premise from the first season and had not killed Boone, Earth Final conflict could have reached Star Trek level. Who's know's, we could be having Earth Final Conflict: The Next Generation right now, had they not butchered the show.

Boones death wasn't just a giant hole in the story, but things that were important in season 1 were no longer important in season 2. The resistance was no longer important. The CVI's were no longer important. The Skrills (The coolest thing about the show) were no longer important. And most of all, good acting was no longer important. I'm not trying to bad mouth Robert Leeshock, but damn he was not a good actor.

It sure did. Season 1 was perfect. Then the show slowly declined.

I didn't appreciate her when I was younger but now that I'm older I find her quite attractive, shame she didn't last the whole series
