I’m glad if it was helpful for you mate. Interestingly the exact same heads look absolutely fine on the new series of Cadians as GW has consciously moved away from heroic scale with them. I suspect they would also be ok on the new rough riders plastic kit. Personally I think they look ok with this conversion - small but not ‘tiny’ 🙂 thanks for watching 👍
Very nicely done. I've just pulled out my motorcycle conversions, they've been in storage for over 10 years, and began updating them. Finding legs were always the issue with my conversions. Appreciate seeing how you did yours.
Yes legs have always been the issue with rough rider conversions - I was lucky that the fantasy ones worked ok in this scenario! Thanks so much for watching and for the feedback mate 👍
I bet that was awesome! Yes I really like Perry miniatures actually. The Perry twins sculpted the original Praetorians so I enjoyed the small homage by using the colonial heads in this conversion! My only issue is that complete Perry minis are a little on the delicate side in terms of scale (they are more realistic) so tend to look a bit small in comparison to many GW models. Thanks for tuning in and commenting dude 👍
🤣 yeah I know what you mean, it’s stressful watching people use blades! I have to say I have cut myself more times using smaller implements like scalpels and precision blades compared with using the bigger snap off type! I get hand cramps and clumsy when the handle is too small! Thanks for your concern brother and thank you for watching! 👍
Thank you mate I appreciate it 🙏 I have already made some light cavalry lancers and just used straightened metal wire for the shafts and fantasy spear points for the tips. I usually just drill out the fists and feed the wire through. I don’t normally try to simulate the explosive tip as they look a little ugly to me. The guys in this video are inspired by heavy cavalry dragoons hence the big power swords! Thanks for watching good Sir! 🫡
Why stop at horses? Dark Elf Cold One mounts could be used as alien lizard beasts and I'm sure there is something in the Lizard Men range that could be used as well for other IG Rough Rider units.
I have seen a few cold one rough rider conversions over the years 🙂 personally I think they suit the Catachans quite well! Thank you for watching and hope you enjoyed the video brother! 👍
Excellent, I’ll definitely be stealing this! 👏🏻 minus the tiny heads ofc 😅

Absolutely adore these. Big cheers for your dedication to the wacky regiments
🙌 no problem man! Praetoria all the way here brother! Glad you liked them mate and thank you for the positive feedback! 👍
Love the Praetorians! These are excellent. Consistently, everything you do is better than the GW stuff out of the box.
That is very kind I very much appreciate the positive feedback 🙏 and thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment! 👍
Great conversions! Adding them to the list of projects I want to try my hand at.
That’s awesome! Rough riders are super fun! Hope yours turn out great 👍 thank you for watching! 🙏

Check out Victoria Miniatures, they have pieces you can use for future Rough Rider projects.
This was very cool brother, love what you done with this conversion, Awesome job 😉👍.
Thank you brother! This one took me a little while as I wanted to present them painted! 😅 thanks for tuning in mate 👍
All the horse armour and it’s placement is after a good stare possibly cause the frag lance is going off right by there face and chest
Good point! Although I’d be surprised if they had put that much thought into it TBH! 😄 thanks for checking out my video! Hope you enjoyed! 👍
Saw on MWG about 5 years ago a IG army with Perry's French Line Lancers...really cheap and lovely.

Those swords look great
Thanks! 👍
Hey dude, love your stuff but please get a scalpel as the hobby knife you use scares the life out of me lol!

These are great, although I would have liked to see how you would make the bomb lances since that's what's in the rules
