LAURA .. Just to let you know a little about the history of that statue is the “Guadalupe Virgin” and she is so related to roses, in fact the way she showed the first time, (1531) was to a native named Juan Diego, she told him “ pick up some roses from around my feet, and bring them to those who don’t believe about me” he picked up the roses and carried with his “shirt “ and when he dropped to the people who did not believe, showed the image of the Guadalupe Virgen on his clothes. And I think is so beautiful that you added more roses to her feet … 🥰🥰🥰

Actually, the Virgin told Juan Diego to bring the flowers to the Bishop Fray Juan de Zumárraga, who btw HADN’T believed Juan Diego in the first place.

I agree. However, I think the King Tutt are annual for that zone. I think Laura was unloading some of her plants in anticipation of the Hartley coming. You can't keep plants in nursery pots for too long. This also provided her the opportunity to promote Proven Winners, her sponsor since her property is sort of 'under construction' I imagine she misses the planting and landscaping.

It kind of looks man-made from when they built the house since the back of the house shows more levels than the front. They probably dug down and just used the dirt to create hills instead of discarding.

But in all seriousness I have improved my gardening game ever since I started watching a following your channel almost 2 years now! and last year was a very hard year for myself and everyone around the world but you (Laura and Aaron) have kept the videos coming despite Normal Life coming to a complete halt…. Watching your videos has become my daily morning routine and kept me going with my gardening projects as well!!! i even dug deep into the video archives and made my very own Succulent urn arrangement with a small water feature in the middle!!! i think it was called the TRIPLE urn challenge. A really gorgeous garden! A waterfall, a pond and gorgeous plants all over, a very lovely spot for Our Lady of Guadalupe statue, and 8:17 planting more roses was the perfect touch around the statue, because she is known for the miracle of the roses in 1531. 13:52 Speaking of hummingbirds, right now we have a pair of hummingbirds hatching 2 tiny eggs on a thin branch of a Ficus microcarpa tree that was planted by my late father over 40 years ago near the front door, precisely the nest hangs 5 inches above of our front door, it is so small and delicate, it is a pleasure to see. Hugs from Sonora, Mexico!

Imagine Laura suddenly appears in your garden with such enthusiasm planting even a container and leaving you with much more than a pot of flowers. It is truly a labor of love. What a blessing you are with a giving heart Laura! You are so inspiring in the midst of your own "chaos" of change with your growing family and property renovation, yet you make time to share your talents with so many around you. The time you spend not only planting and filming, but sharing such detailed information for each plant, location choice, personal experience growing, etc is so appreciated. I think we can all learn to be a bit more giving as you so frequently do. I certainly don't have your knowledge or resources, yet it makes me want to help others have small bit of garden joy in their own life. I'm challenging myself to do exactly that very soon. Thank you.

I want a pond so bad, always have, last year I noticed my little duck laying under a chair, panting cause she was hot, she has water all over to sit in but she wasn't using it except to put grass and dirt in, happily making a mud hole LOL. I grabbed my shovel and started digging out a bit near the bird feeders, lined it with plastic and made a cute little puddle, putting rocks in and around it too. I made it with a couple shallow ends and a deeper end for my Ducky.
Filled it up and she LOVED it! So did the wild birds! They were crazy in the puddle, loving life bathing and drinking

This was so fun, to see how you took an already established area and enhanced it! There were several plants I was not familiar with, and it's always interesting to see how you combine them in new ways.
Wow, that was really fun. It must have been a relief to get some of those plants out of the green house and into the ground and see them thrive. It looked like you were showing the other gardener some were a little root bound in need of planting. Great job "Garden Answers," crew.

Omg wow! You have over a million followers now! I haven’t been on this page in a long time but I just wanted to say thank you for helping me through really hard times when I was a teenager. Your videos brought me so much joy and got me into succulents and just plants in general. I recently got myself plants again for the first time in a while, and I remembered you and this channel. I remembered when I was 15 asking you why propagating some succulents is illegal and you answered “I doubt the plant police will show up at anyone’s door” and that made me laugh and I still quote it every time I talk to anyone about propagation. It’s just a memory that I constantly remember and your channel was a big part of my life. Anyways I just wanted to say thank you! (Hopefully you see my comment. I’m sorry it was really long lol)
