    My sister in law went through that madness to get my niece a cabbage patch doll. Sans the fighting, pushing and yelling. She took three girlfriends with her and they all split up and positioned themselves in different spots. One of them was a able to get a doll. Mission accomplished!
    My niece still has the doll.

    It's kind of sad, though, when a parent says their kid's Christmas would've been "destroyed" if they didn't get a Tickle-Me-Elmo (or whatever). Part of that is on you, lady--you raised them that way.
