It simply astounds me how truly ahead of their age the Old Republic trailers were. We do not know how good we had it. This was before the dark times. Before the Disney Empire came. We, the true Old Fans, must mount a revolution to save Star Wars. Disney is evil incarnate.
It would be perfect but ive heard that the issue is that one minute of CGI like this costs over a million dollars. Though considering that this is Star Wars, you can probably make the money that would go into a feature film back many times over.

In the movies and shows, we are always in the era of the rule of two, obviously a master training an apprentice will make both very strong, hence how they're so powerful in movies. Here though, this is before Bane was alive though I believe, so pretty much anyone who was passionate could be a sith, so obviously with less training than in a master-apprentice relationship, some of the sith are really weak, like, they can barely hold their own, that's how Jedi like Shan and Zallow could cut down the 'weak sith' so easily.

I think this is the *best* trailer I’ve ever seen. Every time I hear those three blaster shots, followed by “URAHH”, it just always brings a smile to my face.
As much as I love the Clone troopers, the Republic troopers are on a different level they are fighting battalions of Sith warriors and Jace Malcom tanking a granade while going against Darth Malgus is truly epic
Not saying you're wrong but the clones have killed Jedi and took over the jedi temple with anakin so I would say they are both on the same level since they both took out force users and clones were genetically made to fight. I would say they are equal.

+JDBW This unit was no ordinary unit of Republic soldiers. They were specifically trained in fighting sith along with usual soldiers, thus why many of the soldiers knew how to counter and kill the Sith depicted in the video.
Better than any of the Disney movies in my opinion. This video alone encapsulates all of the best action sequences while leaving out all of the redundant dialogue sequences.
Now that's a true army of the Galactic Republic. These are real Republic Troopers who fight alongside the Jedi to protect the galaxy from evil, not Clone Troopers who are secretly affiliated with the evil lords of the Sith.

Later on, the army of the Galactic Republic somehow ceased to be until the Clone Troopers were brought in at the beginning of the Clone Wars. The Clone Troopers were the ones who executed their Jedi generals, not the Republic Troopers of the Old Republic.
It’s always nice to watch the background fights. Seen one pub trooper jumping midair side ways to hit a imp troop on a face and then another time a pub troop throw his gun away just too give imp a can of ass whooping with his bare hands

The rule of two means that there can be only two Sith. Even though there were many dark side force-users in the Empire, Vader and Palpatine were always the only Sith. Inquisitors and Shadow Guards and the like are not Sith.
For anybody confused about how Basteele blocked the lightsaber, she used the force. It's the same technique the Darth Vader used to stop Han Solo's blast.

I come back to these every so often to imagine a third person open galaxy game where I can style my sith like the armored sith acolytes and just travel the star wars universe in my own ship.
I know everyone talks about when Jace Malcolm (the commander) tried to tackle Malgus (two times I might add) but my favorite moment is when the Sith troopers are about to execute him. He looks up, right into their eyes with the look of “If you’re gonna kill me, look me in the fucking eyes.”

I CAN'T GET OVER HOW AMAZINGLY EPIC THIS TRAILER IS
That trooper (no, he's not a clone) puts the Jedi of the films to SHAME. He shrugs off TWO Sith, takes Sith Lightning with little more than a grunt, and TACKLES Darth Malgus and blows up a grenade in his face- and all he needs is some burn treatment and possibly some facial reconstruction surgery.
So I've been invited to be a Jedi? PASS. Just give me a lightsaber (and this trooper guy) and I'll be fine.

Jace Malcom (that's the trooper's name) also impregnated the female Jedi (Satele Shan) we see here. Really. I read it in one of the novels. So he's a Badass Republic trooper who can get hot Jedi to fall for him.

That's because he isn't a clone trooper. He's part of the old republican army. This takes place thousands of years before the clone wars.
I agree (not to mention effortlessly punching 2 other sith in the face), but I feel it necessary to point out that during the time period of the Old Republic there were no clone troopers, these are just regular enlisted troopers.

+JDBW This unit was no ordinary unit of Republic soldiers. They were specifically trained in fighting sith along with usual soldiers, thus why many of the soldiers knew how to counter and kill the Sith depicted in the video.
Better than any of the Disney movies in my opinion. This video alone encapsulates all of the best action sequences while leaving out all of the redundant dialogue sequences.
Now that's a true army of the Galactic Republic. These are real Republic Troopers who fight alongside the Jedi to protect the galaxy from evil, not Clone Troopers who are secretly affiliated with the evil lords of the Sith.

Aequitas 1995 Dude, I don't know what you're saying. These are Republic Troopers from thousands of years before even the prequels. Later on, the army of the Galactic Republic somehow ceased to be until the Clone Troopers were brought in at the beginning of the Clone Wars. The Clone Troopers were the ones who executed their Jedi generals, not the Republic Troopers of the Old Republic.

+Min Zhang That rule of two thing is such epic bull... the clone wars tv show had more than two sith active at the same time, and Ahsoka's presence in Rebels pretty much makes it cannon. So basically the whole there can only be two thing can not be true.
The rule of two means that there can be only two Sith. Even though there were many dark side force-users in the Empire, Vader and Palpatine were always the only Sith. Inquisitors and Shadow Guards and the like are not Sith.

Gary to tell you the truth, these guys are more badass than clones(even tho they are my fav lol) because they took on droids, human sith soldiers, and sith knights. It cant get any better than that! XD

I know everyone talks about when Jace Malcolm (the commander) tried to tackle Malgus (two times I might add) but my favorite moment is when the Sith troopers are about to execute him. He looks up, right into their eyes with the look of “If you’re gonna kill me, look me in the fucking eyes.”
