Hi Steve...just a quick question. How is it for being splash proof or water resistant having the battery/motors exposed. Giving it to someone young you know it could be submerged or splashed. Doing what it does you think the company would have taken measures so that it would be ok to get wet. Awaiting your reply. Thanks
There is no mention of it being waterproof. Splash proof, might also not be a good idea. In the video I ran it under the running water from the faucet and it survived.

I can only now afford the advanced with smaller transmitter once saved up a bit... What do you think of the H501 advanced? Thanks for all replies and help as I am SO new to drones. X

Very cool for a kid because you can do different things, go anywhere, and not destroy things while playing with the kids. The price is very reasonable, even buying a second battery for each, and seems durable for 2 rowdy kids and a grown-up. Looks like a nice pick to get started with r/c toys.Thanks Captain

Lipo batteries can get wet, no problems there. The tiny flight controller circuit board may not like being under water for long.
