you prolly dont give a damn but does anyone know of a way to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost my password. I love any tips you can give me.
@Marcelo Bishop Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Best how to use your insta360 video that I've seen yet. I'm anxious to go to your channel and check out the other videos specifically the basic exposure series that you mentioned. Thanks for all your work
Amazing content.. this is by far the best most detailed video I've ever watched. Surprised this doesn't have more views. Really took your time explaining things. I learned more from this video than in photography class!
Hello dear sir, I am from Sri Lanka. Actually my English is not good. But i am gonna do my higher studies about photography and videography and editing. Btw this is just recommended from RUclips. But you helped me a lot. The explanation is so understandable and you are a man who want’s educate people via Social media. Glad to find a Channel like this. I wish you good luck ❤ And waiting for many videos. I think this is my first time that commented a this long comment for a video 🥰 Thank you very much 😊 much love from Sri Lanka. 🇱🇰
This is a really good explanation for settigs on Insta360 One R, I like the extra explanation for depth of information to help me decide when to use manual or auto settings so I can trust getting the best results for my final video/photography. Thanks for making the effort and giving a good presentation that is detailed but concise enough.
Thank you, this is the 3rd time I have watched this video after picking up the Insta 1 inch, and feel like I know something now to go and shoot out there with it on our riding videos...really appreciate your help! :)
Helpful video. Really need to know what resolution you get on timelapse. For example, setting timelapse at 2 second interval, on a sunny day, what is the resolution ? Do you get the full 5312 x 3552 resolution? And can you then run timelapse at full resolution above, for RAW, still at 2 second interval? Or only at a longer interval? Thanks
Very nice video mate, I have a question My camera soon be here and I will be using underwater most of the time I do spearfishing and this camera will be mounted on a speargun and videos will be made mostly between 10-20 meters depth Where we don’t have much light , and mostly I wish to slow down the fish movements and shooting time What settings shall I pick, can you elaborate if that’s ok… Your advise will help a lot and be much appreciated Cenk
I would try 4K 60fps with the ISO set to Auto with no limit on how high it can go. That will give the camera the opportunity to get as much light as it needs. That will let you playback your footage at 50% speed for slow motion of the fish/spear. If you want to have even slower motion footage, you could set it to 1080p 120fps which will let you play it back at 25% speed. Only do this though if the 4K 60fps at 50% isn't slow motion enough for what you are looking for.
Is it possible to do 4k, 30fps, 8h+ recordings with it ? For example, the plan is to place the camera by the ocean and record 8h footage. So no need for high framerate, no real fast moves, just nature shots.
The same settings as for everything else, with one caveat. Make sure you don't overexpose the snow and make it go pure white. Sometimes this requires a bit of trial and error, but you want the snow to be as bright as possible without loosing detail. You can use the shutter speed setting to control the brightness and usually you will want to be at the lowest ISO.
I'm an extreme sports user as you called them, is it worth going to the Leica lens even just for 4K60fps? Does the larger sensor allow better cropping and there for stabilization?
Yep, you can do that in the app after shooting as well. One of the great features of the Insta360 is that none of the in-camera changes are actually applied in the camera, they are applied in the app after you download the footage!
Hi Excellent video, by the way do you know where I can find a sample raw video in INSV format? I would like to test the Inta360 X Studio to see how it stabilize the video. thanks
Great video, very informative. I didn't really like the fact that you assumed most people got no clue what any settings on the camera mean, you said a few times "after you watched my video" as if everyone needed to watch it. Personally, I just needed to know some stuff about the ONE R, I know all about cameras so it was kinda annoying to hear some of what you were saying. By the way, is there a way to mount it to a helmet?
It would work great! Although it won't allow the camera to still be weatherproof so make sure you aren't USB charging in the rain or other wet conditions.
It's actually done in the app after you shoot. If you playback the footage on your phone you'll be able to turn on and off the stabilization in the app. It's actually a nice feature because you can decide to have it on or off even after shooting.
@@forestchaput I purchased the neweel light and the rhode mic, what converter do I need to plug the both into the camera at the same time ? Great video btw !! Excellent breakdown for the layman
I have an Insta360 Go 2, no problem with that, but I have just bought the One R and cannot get it to be recognised by the app. I thought I’d delete the Go 2 on the app in order to allow the One R to be recognised, but I can’t see where to that. There is an option to add another camera but it’s grayed out and can’t be used. Any ideas how to either delete a camera or to add a second camera?
i have a question, does the 1inch mode punch in too if you set it to 4k 60fps? i have been trying to find a way to reset the camera to default or factory settings but i can't find it
Could you please help me with one thing? I just got this camera and during the set up process I inadvertently sent it to Korean language. I cannot obviously read the menu to figure out how to do a hard reset or change the language. Is there any suggestion you have for me in order to do a hard reset without having to read the menu in order to do it? I will be eternally grateful if you can help me. Thank you very much
You should be able to connect it to your phone and use the app on your phone to take care of the reset. If not, I would reach out to Insta360 and see if they have any ideas.
Not automatically. You would need to shoot the individual images and stitch them together in Lightroom or Photoshop. You could also use the 360 mod instead of the 1-inch mod.
Why is formatting an SD card good for the card? In my knowledge of SD cards and solid state storage using cell technology, any time you format (write) to a card it decreases the life of the SD card. Because an SD card and other solid state storage technologies are similar to batteries where the more you write (charge) the less durable the cells become. Unless a quick format is used which just tells the camera that the space is free and can be overwritten without writing to the card. Either way, formatting in my opinion doesn't help unless it is needed for some reason.
Well, technically you are right! However, I like to teach good habits and one of the biggest reasons I see cards get corrupted is when they are shared between cameras without formatting. So no, formatting isn't technically good, but not formatting is bad and can lead to corrupted images in many instances.
Okay - I get that I’m not necessarily the target audience for this video: I was looking for a walkthrough of the functions of this particular camera. I didn’t really need an explanation of the concept of frame rate or resolution. I just wanted to know what the options were on this camera and how to set them. Also, there is a detailed explanation about ISO and shutter speed, but at no point was it mentioned that lower shutter speeds will increase motion blur. Other than exposure compensation that’s really the only reason you want to change shutter speed. And then after the idea of a lightbulb was over explained , I was out. It wasn’t a bad video, it was well made in fact , but it’s a lot more aimed at beginners than the title led me to believe.

Very nice video mate,
I have a question

Where we don’t have much light , and mostly I wish to slow down the fish movements and shooting time

I'm an extreme sports user as you called them, is it worth going to the Leica lens even just for 4K60fps?
Does the larger sensor allow better cropping and there for stabilization?
I would. It will be sharper in all situations and the larger sensor will help you when the light gets dimmer at the end/beginning of the day.
@@forestchaput superb thank you, I use the 360° mod mostly just debating investing in the new lens
Does it allow you to adjust in camera sharpness? Say if you want to reduce the digital sharpened look?
Yep, you can do that in the app after shooting as well. One of the great features of the Insta360 is that none of the in-camera changes are actually applied in the camera, they are applied in the app after you download the footage!
the best

Hi Excellent video, by the way do you know where I can find a sample raw

how it stabilize the video. thanks
I don't know off the top of my head. I imagine Insta360 might provide some demo footage if you reach out to them.
what settings would you recommend for night video , like Freemont Street in Vegas. (one inch mod?)
Yes, definitely the 1-inch mod. 5.3K at 24fps would be the most cinematic. From there, just make sure the ISO doesn't get too high.
As a rule of thumb, when setting our photo and video on auto, what else do we have to set them on? Thank you.
That should do it! Auto does a pretty great job on these cameras.
How many of these setting would you also recommend for the 360 mode
Most of them! The real difference will only be with frame rate and resolution as the 360 mod doesn't have nearly as many options.
sir I buy last week... I saw one ( .) logo on display red color what is this pls help me.. I Am w8ing for your reply
No idea. Reach out to Insta360 and see if they can help!
is there a linear mode for photos in insta360, so that all photos arent so distorted because of the wide fov?
Yep! It’s in the “zoom” options.

Do you remind using the USB charging say on motorcycle while using the camera
It would work great! Although it won't allow the camera to still be weatherproof so make sure you aren't USB charging in the rain or other wet conditions.
@@forestchaput I ride and try not to do it in teh rain LOL thank you
How do you enable the EIS (Electronic image Stabilization? Hypersmooth? I've gone through every menu setting and cant find it any where..
It's actually done in the app after you shoot. If you playback the footage on your phone you'll be able to turn on and off the stabilization in the app. It's actually a nice feature because you can decide to have it on or off even after shooting.
Do you have a video on how to record a video and upload into the laptop?
