Scherzpolka "Trombone Antics" | From the Oshkosh Area Community Band 2023 Fall Concert

The second to the last piece in our Oshkosh Area Community Band Fall Concert is called "Scherzpolka". During the piece, there is a passage that requires band members to "whoop and holler", etc. I wanted to add something extra during this passage and came up with the idea of confetti cannons. I distributed some of the cannons throughout our 7 member trombone section and instructed them as to what to do. This was without a doubt the most fun that I have ever had during a performance! Trombone players are always known to be mischievous, and this piece allowed us to live up to our reputation! Enjoy! Don't forget to smile! The full concert can be viewed on this channel as well.
