‘Breathless’ was the second single taken from the band’s 13th album ‘Abattoir Blues / The Lyre Of Orpheus (Double A Side with ‘There She Goes My Beautiful World’)
Originally released in November 2004, the single featured the Bad Seeds line up of Nick Cave, Mick Harvey, Warren Ellis, Martyn P Casey,
Thomas Wydler, Conway Savage, Jim Sclavunos and James Johnston.

I love this guy! I wish more people could see how brilliant he is. I love that Leonard Cohen was a huge influence on him. He was in a documentary about Cohen. It's hard to pick a favorite song, but this is sheer perfection!

This is ‘our song’, we fell in love to this album and had this as our first dance when we got married ten years ago.
