Zweibrücken, part 2! With everything starting to open back up, we are beginning to venture out ourselves. With this town being about a 30-minute drive (we found the backroad!) it’s a lot more interesting to explore sections. This episode takes us to the Rosengarten. Although some of the flowers were just beginning to bud, we were able to check out the place for ourselves and capture a few good bloomers. For more information check out their website that also allows you to change the language to English.

Venturing out of your comfort zone is a really great way to begin your travel adventures in Kaiserslautern and the surrounding area. If you’re just now PCSing and looking for a place that is pet-friendly with a HUGE family park, Zweibrücken is for you!
Great, now we have to go back and get footage of this park, don’t we? YAY!
Sundays seem like the best time to visit but let us know in the comments if there are other areas that we should visit in this town.
    ALSO:
Check out Ray Gun Merch’s website here for all of the bad-ass clothing they have to offer!
You will not be disappointed and the site is filled with more than just the Ray Gun brand, it’s got a variety of good ol’ Augusta, Georgia memorabilia. James Brown-influenced and respected to the fullest.

I was stationed at Zweibrucken AB from 78 - 81 in the USAF. We sarcastically called the place, "Sunny Zwei". It was one of the best times of my life, but it looks like the town has grown considerably. I used to take my German girlfriend (Gabi) to the Rosengarten often. I would like to get back someday. I have so many fond memories of my time in Germany.

Wow! I'm so glad we could bring some nostalgia back to you! That town is full of history and it's a fun drive for us, its all back roads here, I'm sure if you came back, those back roads on a motorcycle would be a highlight for you. Thanks for watching!

I´ve never been there although it´s only an hour away from my home. Thanks a lot for the video. Looks interesting, especially now when it´s almost empty and not as crowded as it must have been before the virus. Great opportunity to take photos and videos and explore the place without standing in line and crowds of people in front of the camera lens. Thumbs up as always and all the best to you!

Thanks for always commenting something positive to us! Yes, we also decided to try and make some videos for the military people that might want to get off of base here in K-town and explore without going too far away! If they knew there was also an outlet mall I think they would feel like they were back in the states a little! Yes the lines are not long at all on Sundays! thanks for watching!

I'm glad you liked it, whats crazy is that we went there to the rose garden on a very cloudy day! I wanted to visit again in the summer but we didn't make it in time!
