    thx for the video. i have a question. under control there is where it says " current calibration" and you skipped explaining what that does. does anyone know or can you shed some light on it?

    Hi. Do you know if you can put all these JBD BMSs in parallel with multiple other JBD BMSs (of the same voltage and capacity).

    Thank you so much! I watched your wiring video which was great and tried programming everything but couldn't get the BMS to turn on for the longest time. Turns out I missed the "Cell num" setting in the "Origin Settings" tab and the BMS wouldn't do anything. I noticed you left you 0%-100% capacity settings between 2.55v-4.15v while the protection parameter settings were a little bit different. Does that effect performance?

    • @greentecbatteries
      @greentecbatteries  Месяц назад

      I'm glad it helped! No those settings do not affect each other. Under Parameters, Capacity Voltage and then setting the percentages is really a preference. That is what will be displayed on your phone, tablet or the LCD screen if you have one installed. I like mine to show the packs true capability even though the Protection Parameters settings are going to shut off the flow of current before it hits zero. Think of it like a reserve tank in an old gas motorcycle or car. It will shut off if you weren't paying attention and got that low but you could still open the app and lower it to the batteries safe minimum then keep driving somewhere until you can charge.

    So the batteries you have are Li-Ion not LiFePO4?

    • @greentecbatteries
      @greentecbatteries  17 дней назад +1

      Yes the eMatrix batteries have 252 Li-Ion NMC batteries in each module. The Nissan Leaf batteries are also Li-ion and have a unique design, they have two cells in each rectangular unit so on the top there are three contacts. They also have LiMn2O4/LiNiO2 anodes and cathodes for longevity but you can treat them like any other Li-ion as far as the BMS goes.

    The latest consumer version for Android looks the same as the Ios version but the advanced version for Android from your link looks like the old version. Is there an update?

    Hello,
    Thank you so much for your video!
    I have a question regarding the app. In your video, the app design appears updated, but the Android app link you provided is for an older version. Could you please let me know how you managed to install the version with the new design and the full list of parameters? Currently, in my app, only the first and second items appear under the parameters section.

      @greentecbatteries  Месяц назад +1

      I was using an iPad in the video, which could be some of the difference. I don’t use Android often, but the link for the Android app is the most recent one that I am aware of that is fully unlocked and compatible with almost all the models. The BMS should come with a barcode to download the version to be used with that specific BMS, but they usually have fewer features. If you have your specific BMS model, you might be able to contact the vendor you purchased it from or contact JBD directly and get a newer unlocked version for your BMS.

    Wow I’ve never seen that 300A version before, that’s huge! I’ve got one with the switch wire. Does it need to be a switch or will a push button work?

    • @greentecbatteries
      @greentecbatteries  Месяц назад

      The JBD BMS needs to have a latching switch, not a momentary one. Meaning it makes the connection all the time when it's on. You can get these in a switch or push button form just make sure it isn't momentary.

    • @greentecbatteries
      @greentecbatteries  Месяц назад

      Yes the optional LCD screen that comes with the JBD BMS has buttons on it as well and has a very good interface. You can change settings and toggle the discharge and charge function right from the display.

    Cold I put three of those eMatrix batteries in series which would be 21s 72v right and then hook it up to the 250a bms even though it’s 22s? I’m think to power my tricycle that has a 5000watt hub motor.

    • @greentecbatteries
      @greentecbatteries  Месяц назад

      Absolutely. I would recommend the Samsung INR18650-35E model from Greentec Auto because it can handle 460A peak. We also sell buss bars to connect them in series. Yes that 250A BMS would be a perfect fit for that. When you wire it up you will combine the b20 and b21 wires together leaving b22 to be the positive most connection, then you can wire it up to a 21s battery.

    • @greentecbatteries
      @greentecbatteries  Месяц назад +1

      Yes. The heat connection is just a pair of 22AWG wires however you have to select to add that feature before you purchase it. I believe it added about a dollar to mine to add the heat plug.

    Can you share 51.2 volt 35 ah, 16 cell Lipo4 battery setting for xiaoxiang app,
    My battery is not showing on charging , and on running mode in app and it is not showing down the charge until its get fully discharge.

    • @greentecbatteries
      @greentecbatteries  5 дней назад

      The first thing is to look up the spec sheet of the cells you are using. Even amongst LiFePo4 batteries the settings will vary to match cell’s abilities. Like the low voltage cut off, amperage, Ah, etc. However equally as often it’s a swing that got overlooked like temperature cutoff that is set to 0 or something like that.
      I would be glad to help you more but it’s hard on RUclips comments. If you leave a comment on one of my Face book posts that I’m in, I’d be glad to go through your settings more in depth .

    My app won't let me turn on discharge. In function it won't let me turn on switch.
    It will automatically turn on discharge while it's charging. Lifepo4 3.25volts no alerts

    • @greentecbatteries
      @greentecbatteries  11 дней назад

      @@electromechanicalstuff2602 this is very common and it almost always means one of the parameters isn’t set right or the balance wires aren’t connected properly. I’d start by unplugging the balance plug from the BMS and checking the voltages of every pin with your voltmeter touching the blue wire with the negative lead and then check each pin with the positive lead. Make sure they are all the correct voltage. Then go over every single setting. Don’t forget temperature is in Celsius.

      @greentecbatteries I did all of this several times everything was fine. The only setting I saw that was different between one that was working and two that weren't was the function setting for switches was off on the one that worked and on in the ones that didn't. I tried switching them off also but it would also not take the command. I walked away for a few hours. Came back then tried to turn off the switch function again and then they all took the command .. with the switch function off the discharge automatically came on and now the switchs for charge discharge actually take commands. Seams backwards and off it didn't take the command earlier but they are now all working. I disconnected the balance leads several times to attempt a reboot of the BMS as well. Nothing worked except some time... Ods
