lmao the audacity of the witness to say “i did not say that” when the plaintiff wasn’t talking about her
Lmfaoo “i did not say that” .. “this is not the daughter your honor”😂😂😂
I hate owners that let their dogs out without any supervisions ... i never owned a dog because i know i have no time for any of its need ! ..and when shit happen , way too much owner would blame everything on others ..or denie anything bad happened..
Same that how my aunt dogs died , she let her little dog out in the front yard no leash and a big dog got loose and attacked her
You need to train them not to run off, even if they somehow have the opportunity. It is very frustrating how some people live.
In many areas it’s illegal.
Or unleashed. I leave mine on a tether outside my back door. So everyone is safe and they should never just touch a strange dog.
I had a dog for 15 years. Lurcher mix called sandy. Sadly she recently went to doggy heaven but during her life, when she was a pup she escaped and went to the farmland nearby. She was inevitably injured and after gettin a few puncture wounds stitched up she spent the rest of her life either indoors or on her leash. Even if we just walked her in our garden to let her toilet she was leashed. For her own safety and for our peace of mind.
The postman told us yesterday he didnt know we even had a dog until just before she passed away
The lack of empathy from the defendant’s witness was outrageous. I can’t believe she was laughing while the plaintiff was telling her story
Love when judge Judy rips disrespectful people a new one! Fierce lady.
If you pick up a strange dog always know they may bite.
While this is true, you should also not let your dog wander the streets whether or not they bite. Defendant is an irresponsible dog owner if her poodle has been noticed out of the house like this and bites anyone who tries to figure out where she belongs
@gRinchY-op5vr I don't think @brigittej5158 is blaming the plaintiff here but just saying this is one more reason not to interact with strange dogs or cats. Just to stay safe....
@@mojisoladeji Exactly
3:50 i love how Judge Judy shuts up the defendants friend 😭😂😭
That witness keeping on laughing at what the plaintiff is saying disgusts me, what person in their right mind laughs at a lady who got their hand bitten by a dog she was meant to be supervising! Outrageous! I had a dog and she had bitten a few people and I kept on apologising for it and I felt so shamed, that lady witness as well as the defendant are disgraceful!
I’m sorry that happened to you! I understand the feeling, my dog has never actually attacked but she does get aggressive when she’s nervous and I’m always apologizing for it. But it’s people like you who you can tell are responsible owners from the get go. It’s so crazy to me that the defendants here would be so dismissive of all of this. I would feel so indebted to anyone who saved my dog that I certainly wouldn’t need to be taken to court to cover their medical bills. Your pet is not a person who has critical thinking an rationale, it will act on its instincts, and a responsible owner knows that they have to take precautions to avoid things like this. You’d sooner find me dead than willingly letting my dog wander around unleashed.
@@dharmallars exactly! Because of my dog was being aggressive with new people, if anybody asked or came up to pet her I always warned them that she is bad with strangers and she can get aggressive. The few times she had bitten are people who ignore my warnings about her being defensive but even then I still apologised and felt ashamed as I wanted my beautiful Millie to be nice and friendly to everyone but she didn’t like new people, she was fine with people she knew in fact she loved being petted by them just children and new people she didn’t like. So these people are disgusting for not taking responsibility for their dog shouldn’t have that dog! I hate the end of this episode (don’t know if you have watched it) where the actual defendant says the plaintiff is racist or discriminatory! Sorry I rambled but these people are horrible!
These comments are great. Compared with how people (figuratively speaking) stick their tongues out at JJ when she tells them -that's the law- it's a breath of fresh air.
I've watched two shows recently where two female cat owners (admittedly- but still- blood was drawn in the cases) unapologetically and with noses in the air told JJ they didn't and had never agreed with a no leash ethical approach of watching their cats because they were stalkers and could be aggressive.
One flat out smiled and told her "No, no one is going to interfere with my cat's freedom and right to enjoy the outdoors. They have to look after their dogs."
Argh.
@@navigatormother7023 these people who don’t take responsibility for their pets shouldn’t have them and I hope animal control after watching JJ should take the pets off these owners and give them to responsible homes. It’s ridiculous! There was also a case of a bulldog that was “defending “ his home and the owners had no remorse to the poor plaintiff who got their hand bit, then another with the husky that got loose and then shot as it eaten some chickens and the owners didn’t take any responsibility heck they didn’t look at the photos JJ wanted them to see and she in her right mind called the owners belligerent as they only wanted to believe what they thought instead of the facts!
I wish Judge Judy just threw her out (and when I say out, I mean LEAVE.). She's as dumb as the defendant is.
that lady trying to pass of as the daughter made me lol
That lady isn't the daughter nor is she trying to pass as her daughter.
@@globaltrance092 yes she did. The plaintiff was speaking on what the defendants DAUGHTER said and the defendants witness had the irrational reaction to respond with, “I did not say that.”
The plaintiff pointed out real quick that she’s not the daughter in question because of the stupid thing that just came out of the witness’s mouth. Are you not watching the same program?
@@globaltrance092 yeh she did. She clearly said the daighter said and then the lady said i didnt say that lol... she aint the daughter
The smile of the defendant’s daughter when she uttered “Liar” says it all. Her smile gives her away.
She's not the daughter.
I really did not like the defendant’s witness one bit. First she calls the plaintiff a liar when in reality she was the liar. Second her smugness really annoyed me so much. And third all she has been is bully who should’ve been kicked out of court.
@colton1091 I think the only reason JJ didn't is because she didn't want her having the last word, in that courtroom it's always JJ's last word lol
@@gRinchY-op5vr Definitely JJ must have the last word.. Her courtroom, she’s a judge, and it’s her show.
Friend.
JJ: “I assume you put the dog down.”
Me: 😧
“I let go.”
Me: ohhhhh
I hate when witnesses try to speak when not spoken to. But I love when JJ tells them to shut up 😂
Exactly
Great timing I just sat down with a sammich.
Me with my frozen meal lol
Make me one please
✅️It be like dat🤷🏿♂️🤣🤣
Judge judy really does get the pettiest of cases. Rule one: don't let your dogs out unsupervised! Rule 2: DO NOT pick up random dogs, no matter how small or calm they seem. That dog does not know you, so it will act defensively. I mean, come on, that "bite" was tiny, no worse than cats. The owner should've just handed the lady some money for the trouble and called it a day.
Once she reported to animal control, the government takes over and since the dog wasn’t up to date on rabies, she had to get vaccinated. However, the rabies vaccination should have been covered.
@@mnblssm_wc185 are you really getting offended over this? If you’re that sensitive over a mispronounced pronoun then I suggest staying off the internet.
and ghsts wrong she should have not picked him up !! that’s her fault ! u knew he would go home after you got bit . but before he needed you to carry him yuck i hate
people like this . antagonizing pets to get put down
@@badazzbarbiePOV she didn’t want it to be run over. Wow what a fiend. She should be arrested for such a crime. Don’t let your dogs outside without a leech and someone who can control them. Period. She’s not to blame for being bit when she was simply trying to save the animal from being crushed under a tire.
Exactly!!!! Why would u pick up a dog that’s not yours ? What u expect to happen ? If she would’ve been minding her business she would’ve never got bit I don’t understand why she felt it was her business to pickup the dog
Props to the guy or girl who's put that amazing title in this case! I think fits perfectly and it's just so funny. I love it. Hope this would became a movie title: *¡WHEN THE POODLE ATTACK! THE REVENGE* 😂
It isn’t clickbait if it delivers. Definitely got my attention. :)
There are two poodle attack b horror films about rabid poodles or/ undead poodles.

Reminds me of an older self help book titled
"Women Who Run With The Wolves". (Supposedly a very good one ...about 1986.)
My friend was very self deprecating and funny- said for her it should be called -
"Women Who Run With The Poodles".
@Z e it's sort of like saying " You've done a great job". But there's a more definitive interpretation of it somewhere!
I'm surprised how many people blame her for trying to save dog from potentially getting hit by car.
The owner is clearly a terrible dog owner.
Picking up dog you don't know is not smart, but she thought it was fine from brief interaction and seems to have been genuinely trying to help.
Not dog people here I guess, I'm saving a dog from getting hit by car if I can, waiting for animal control just increases chances it gets killed.
Very well said.
I know the plaintiffs intentions were great but a dog in its element is not thinking of human intentions. That dog felt threatened and that’s why it bit her even if it didn’t recognize the danger it was in.
@@tizzyracket Yeah that's fine, I'm not thinking anyone should be angry with the dog.
It's the owners who are terrible people, the plaintiff here was trying to help, and I probably would've just held it's collar, petting it, while waiting for animal control - but she's not the one in the wrong here at all.
@@tizzyracket Ehh not necessarily. Poodles are known for being pretty vicious animals. I once went to a daycare where the lady running it was a poodle breeder, mama dog was almost always super sweet & well behaved. Whenever she had her pups she was mean as could be, daddy dog was always a dick & nipping at us kids even when we weren’t trying to interact with him. We all knew to be well behaved & calm around the dogs, she only watched kids above age 8 because she thought we would have enough sense to be able to co exist around the dogs. 2 days before my last day at that day care one of the puppies from the previous litter that the daycare owner had decided to keep attacked another child unprovoked as she was walking us back from school to her house. Pup was about 9 months at the time & fairly big. Out of nowhere he snapped & attacked another kid refusing to let go of him/stop attacking him, to the point where he had to get 200+ stitches.
precisely, what's wrong with saving animals
I love Judge Judy, I agree when she says you can't fight stupidity you just can't.

People who interrupt like that and speak out really believe the judge is going to take what they say into consideration.
Everyone knows that there's 2 simple rules when going on Judge Judy. Don't shout out or talk to the other party! And wait until the Judge addresses u!
Otherwise she will let u have it!
What don't ppl understand about that lol
3:29 “excruciating pain!”
😂 😂 😂 so dramatic lol
Are you braindead or joking?
You know the plaintiff has a good case when no one in the comment is making fun of her hair
To be honest, she shouldn't have picked up a stranger dog but I understand her point. Probably, I'd try to protect the dog as well. The owner should be fined thousands of dollars to learn how to take care of their dog. I believe she should be fined for letting her dog out and putting it, and others, in danger. I can't tell if the plaintiff deserves compensation but the defendant should be fined and labeled as a person, who shouldn't have pets. She teaches her children that pets are toys.
Shouldn't*
It's also dangerous to have your dog running about a car could swerve to avoid it and hit another car and kill someone
Never pick up a strange animal.
Some people have got too much time on their hands 🤦🏼♀️
For real. Has she minded her own business this wouldn’t have happened. If she was so worried, just call animal control.
@@pettylittleliarbussy By then the little Poodle could have been road kill. She was trying to prevent the dog being injured or killed but the owner was a total jerk.
@@pettylittleliarbussy The dog could've already died, I can tell it's not dog people in these comments.
Just let the dog potentially get hit by car, it's fine, wow.
Yes she looks like a typical Karen
"I followed the dog " ...James Bond 007😂😂😂
I love when you know its hearsay and then Judy says its hearsay.
How can you pick up someone’s else dog then sue when the dog bites??? Lol. This is insane
For the reason she said, she didn’t want the dog to get run over by a car or go missing, pretty obvious.
Why do people always bother strange dogs? If it comes up to you being affectionate by all means pet it otherwise leave the poor fucker alone would you like total strangers walking up and touching you all the time?
It is loose without a leash or a responsible person.
Little dogs have can hurt. They have big dogs confidence with sharp teeth.
What gets me is, why do people seeing a stray animal, and would go up, and pet the animal, not knowing if the animal has Rabies, or not. All it takes is one bite.
Totally crazy that she would go to pick up a strange dog. I would NEVER do that. She needed to have some responsibility for her injuries also. She's an ADULT.
Eh both are pretty stupid. The defendant shouldn’t have her dog running the streets and the plaintiff should know you don’t try to pick up a strange dog running around the streets!
Right! I think she was trying to keep the dog, until it bit her.
For real though, Why would you grab a random dog? I would be against this plaintiff if only the defendants wern't so annoying.
The dog left came back and chose SMOKE😂🤣
Small dog bites may not be inmediatly life threatening (rabies is very serious but you have a little time to get treated), but they are rather painful. If a dog has just bite me, you could be by my side and I can fail to notice you very easily.
Even a small dog bite can become infected and pose health risks.
@@saramichele7366 so can an insect bite should I sue one of my neighbours because a bee or an ant from her garden bites or stings me?
Strange place America it seems every dreams about being able to sue some one else they go around petting Strange dogs and cats in the hope that they'll get bitten or scratched; sorry I can't believe a domestic cat stalked a human ?,waited until the coast was clear then attacked. I've even seen parents suing their children because there grand child jumped up to hug them and left a red mark. Sad and sickening if that was my parents they'd never see their grandchildren again
@@michaelharrison3602 That's completely different. The bacteria in a dog's mouth is very dangerous if it gets into your blood stream.
@@saramichele7366 human bites can be worse
I like the Astroboy hairdo the plaintiff is rockin
The defendant's smug "friend" Karla should have kept her mouth shut. She was annoying and smirked most of the time during this case.
Because she was ready to lie for her friend.
A mean girl for sure!
The owner is wrong for leaving the dog out to roam around, however the plaintiff should own responsibility for reaching out and picking up the dog. She was the instigator in the attack. The dog reacted as it did not feel safe with her.
i was expecting so much worse when she showed the pictures... she got a microscopic scratch on a finger. she didnt get bit, she got nipped which is a polite warning from a dog that didnt want to be grabbed by a random person, which a lot of dogs would do worse. should consider yourself lucky lol
Dog should *not* have been off leash
Exactly. I can't help wondering whether JJ found against them so decisively because of the obnoxious witness.
@@paulineslonim3391 Because JJ is a dog lover and the owner is careless and shouldn't own a pet she cannot control.
Any break in the skin however small can transmit rabies or other problems. The dog owner is not a responsible dog owner because if she was she could have went the next day and got the proof for the dog’s vaccination and supplied that to animal control (which she admitted she has yet to pay which could mean she just abandoned the dog) and to this lady who could have saved herself the rabies shots.
@@mollygriffith5678 sounds like a good reason not to pick up a random dog off the street then now dont it. thats why animal control exists. And Im aware the defendant is also a bad dog owner, no one said otherwise. But my comment was on how the plaintiffs acting like she got mauled. As a wise man once said: "tis but a scratch"
My Mommy always said they were mean ASF! I tell my children all the time, beautiful animals are always mean.

This is an example of people who think the world should revolve around them

The plaintiff is just plain dumb...like who tf picks up a stray dog....at least feed it 1st lol

@@tyroneloki5131 What about the terrible owner who repeatedly lets their dog out without a leash or collar? And no, stray dogs that are truly stray (not just lost or unsupervised) do not just go up to people and beg for food unless someone gives them food to begin with. Even then, they only approach the food, not the human. They’re too afraid. Dogs who have been socialized (have/had owners) are more likely to approach people.
