This was so enjoyable. Thanks for giving RuthAnn this interview, I have followed her for years, and now I will add you. I raise my own beef, lamb, pork, chicken and Turkey. I have laying hens and a lovely Jersey milk cow as well. I’m a city raised girl, but my grandparents were old order Mennonites, so I feel so at home with your content. Thanks so much! Keep up the great work. I love my ranch life. We have about 1000 avocado trees and a garden as well.
I am 70 years old almost 71 and I really thought that the younger generation had no hope , but you young ladies give me hope, I am so excited to see the love of God, Family, and living a life that is pleasing to God in you ladies
What an uplifting, encouraging and motivating with young mothers. I'm excited to see more and more young women being bowled in their testimony of Jesus Christ. As a 71-year-old great-grandmother, I see hope for the future.
I am so. Much appreciated this podcast with Ruthanne. I follow her. You know, it takes me back to my own upbringing. I'm 72 I was born into a family of 12 my mom and dad made 14. We had chores, we had chickens pigs. My mom and my grandmother actually cannned and entire cow. At 1 point, boy was that a job people are missing out and not telling their children about how they were raised. It's gonna be a lost generation if we don't get together and talk about the important things. But the most important thing on your podcast. Today was Jesus. His name to be lifted up to be shared to bring people into the Kingdom of God. I love them thank you. Both this is a very new podcast for me. I didn't know you existed. I just come by accidentally, but I'm going to keep on it. And I want to thank you very much for that.
RuthAnn has a wonderful eye for videography, so many beautiful scenes on her channel, and great content. I start my Saturday mornings watching RuthAnn.
Thank you for having Ruthann on your podcast. This was a very uplifting and inspirational conversation. Hopefully God will use it to bring at least one person to the knowledge of His saving grace. Even one is so important to Him. Great to see this kind of podcasting.
I've been following RuthAnn for over a year now. I so appreciate her approach to life through faith; trusting God for EVERY situation. It is through her that I found your channel and have subscribed. This content is exactly how I want to spend my screen time! Thank you both!
I’m older and have not gotten into podcasts like what seems the majority of today. I only jumped on today because I love RuthAnn and her views, her morals, her work ethics, her caring for her family FIRST… and that her love our savior Jesus Christ radiates off everything she does. I will say that I will be coming back to Boom Clap to see what you bring to the table and that I hopefully can learn from. I pray you all have a very blessed day and know that you are added to my daily prayers. Thank you for such an uplifting topic today.
Thank you so much, I loved it I see your hearts ♥️ and I follow Ruth Anne and I love the heart of God that she brought to your channel .God Bless you ladies 🤗from Australia 🇦🇺
I thoroughly enjoyed this podcast featuring Ruthann Zimmerman. I have been watching her RUclips videos about 1 1/2 years. I was not aware that she wrote a book. Because of the content of this video I have subscribed to your RUclips videos.
Wow what a great episode! Her testimony is beautiful. Feeling so convicted about the priority sequence in my own life. Comes at a perfect time as we're evaluating our family culture which we've been struggling with for a good while now. I wish her book was available right now!!
Thank you so much for this interview! A friend sent me this this morning, so all of you are new to me. My only social media is youtube and what friends and family send me. I recently left a cult. I thought it was a "biblical" church that cared about souls and sharing the Gospel. It took over a decade to realize we were following a wolf in sheep's clothing and obediently building his kingdom. It was so consuming and demanding, but I thought that was the sacrifice Christians are supposed to make. I had no idea that serving can go in different directions and mean different things. The Good Shepherd rescued me from myself 14 years ago, and He rescued me from this cult 1 year ago. I'm so refreshed to hear about RuthAnn's heart for her home, which put her family's connection health(mental and emotional) first and then their physical health, and lastly the house itself. "Ministry" takes so much of us away from our first ministry, which is our family. I needed to hear this podcast so I don't miss what's really important for my family. I'm a widow, so I've been grieving the continuous loss of my husband and wonderful father to my kids. I grieve the loss of my identity as being his wife. Being a wife at all. I grieve the loss of identity of bearing anymore babies. I was 30 when my youngest was born, and 33 when my husband died. I was hoping to have a couple more babies, but at 43 that door looks more and more closed each year. But I can, with God's grace, meet my teens and young adult children's mental and emotional connection needs. I think they have not had those needs met very well with the increasing demands of church and the mental exhaustion of being a single mom. But that's where I can start. Thank you!:) and my identity in Christ does bring peace, especially as I continue to grow in that reality, learn who God really is, and the promises in this amazing relationship as a child of God, Bride, friend, etc! Thanks again, mamas!! Boom 👏
Thank you so much for sharing your story! It's beautiful to hear about the Good Shepherd leading you out of such a difficult place! We're so glad that you are finding that peace in your identity in Christ.
Ruth Ann is so refreshing to watch and love her attitude towards the importance of relationships with her family members. God bless her and you all as well!!!
RuthAnn is my absolute favorite youtube channel to watch.. yes I feel the peace when she is talking about her daily life.. yes I feel God at work when she shares.. she has such wisdom.
This was a wonderful testimony of the goodness of God! I just recently discovered her Facebook videos and have enjoyed them so much. Thank you for sharing. May God bless and increase what you're doing with your channel. Yes, we will have opposition, Jesus sure did...but be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might! Merry Christmas!
I agree! I have been following Ruthann for awhile, also. Her wisdom is spot on. We have to give God credit for that as she has been faithful and obedient to His leadings. Much of my life runs parallel to hers. Several times I have said out loud to her videos that I have experienced that or raised my sons with those same instructions.
The hard place in our life we called it our K-boom. However, in that we discovered more about who our Father is and He had permission to heal our hearts and we experienced a deeper abiding in Him.
Then also if you stay stuck in your story its will it become idolatry. If its the bad story your stuck in you will turn bitter attention seeking/feeding self centered. If its a good story you will turn to pride snobby self centered. All because a person choose to not be sanctified.
Homesteading with the Zimmermans is my favorite RUclips channel

Staying stuck is staying a victim and not moving on to surviver.
When I hovered over the thumbs up, the unlike button appeared. Maybe that is why you are getting so many unlikes.
Then also if you stay stuck in your story its will it become idolatry. If its the bad story your stuck in you will turn bitter attention seeking/feeding self centered. If its a good story you will turn to pride snobby self centered. All because a person choose to not be sanctified.
Sanctification is a gift from God! Thanks for listening
