My go to has been the MP/Aquashere. Able to trim the thicker rubber at the ears and not tear. Its got the grippers inside and stays in place in long open water events

-Just got Arena 3D soft cap, and confirm it is best suit for me for training and for race. Does not slip from the head for a long time.
-Tyr tracer X cap is good for very short distance and has a nice rigid dome shape so you go throgh the water like through warm butter, but as said in video after 100 meter this cap is slipping from your head - for me espesially when I look forward and neck moves this cap up.
I love the fastskin caps. Theyve got great designs and fit well

I think that racing caps are overlooked by many swimmers. I believe that a normal training cap with wrinkles on top of the head will actually add more drag, even if it is just by a small amount. It just doesn’t make sense to me why you would pay hundreds of euros for a top tier tech suit and not pay attention to your swim cap.
I also think those racing caps look way better than racing in a normal cap.
If your allowed then yes you should absolutely go that extra step and get a race cap

@@TheSwimsuitGuythanks. Just ordered the Arena 3D Soft Cap instead in size M. I have quite a small head but there was no size S so hopefully it still fits fine even though I’m coming from a Size S Fastskin cap.

I was going to ask the same.. I not a competitive swimmer, but I swim frequently and my hair is very sensitive to chemicals and salt, so swim caps are totally necessaries for me. I also usually prefer just to keep the swim cap instead of removing it, while I think most guys remove as soon they are out the water. So my search is for a good balance of a tight swim cap that protect my hair (I wet my hair with fresh water before swimming) but also comfortable I can wear it for 2 or 3 hours without headaches. And if it's beautiful too.....

this guy is not a an expert at all ! He took the under Soft cap which is used for girls with long hair to use as an under cap before wearing the racing one from Mad Wave . And he did not review the real racing caps from Mad Wave which were used by Vladimir Morozov and other guys.
Could we possibly get a swimming goats tier list? For example, Phelps being A tier and someone like Manadou being C tier and etc
