It's kick ass that not a lot of people know about this album. Hands down one of the best all time punk albums to come out of SoCal. I'd listen to this then charge Hermosa pier in like '85. Ah shit those were the days.
I've seen these guys 4 times in concert……..this acoustic version was awesome. They should really think about recording an acoustic album, that would kick fuckin' ass.
I have always said this. Look, I’m a fan of “both” TSOL’s. All of their albums across the board are a part of my musical soundtrack. One thing the the Joe Wood version showed was just how awesome, and versatile of a guitar player Ron Emory is......I’ve always loved his style.
100% agree. Change today? Is one of my all time favorites. But the original Jack version of TSOL is what got me loving this band. I wish they would have changed the name of the band when they added Joe. Kinda sucks for Joe because because people always compare the different versions.
Come on bro !!! These guys are one of the most talented punk bands I ever saw. The t-shirt was my favorite, I refused to toss that one. And like Henry Rollins said, where TSOL played, the blood followed. I'm lucky that the punk scene in Balt, MD was laid back. We'd get bars closed down, and the BCPD messed with us, but there weren't fights at the shows. I think people were just scared of us.
YEAAHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!!!! I was lucky enough to catch them in '83/84 after Change Today, in Baltimore, MD. It was a very small scene, but between road trips to NYC and DC, I saw them all. This band is one of the best. I love Black Flag, but these guys are honestly more talented. I don't know, the Dead Kennedys were really good, Butthole Surfers were insane, 2 drummers, a tuba, a guitar & Vocals through a bullhorn into the mike. Nahh, TSOL is the most talented of them all & this is my favorite of their songs. Sorry, I'm getting pretty old, & this has me really excited. Christ, I think I'm gonna have a heart attack, but I'll die smiling. There's no way out but death.......
❤❤❤Bravo masterful performance perfectly executed thanku gentlemen I feel so honored and what a great pleasure to hear one of my favorite songs of all time much love much respect.
Holy smokes i grew downtown la , San Fernando Valley. 69 to 2000 . early punk was the best. Tsol, germs , x , black flag , circle jerks . Alice bag. All rocked. I miss those times but still listen to all the band's weekly if not more.
We met two men from other sides, on a walk down by the river side Trigger finger itching to see some action, he would tell me what I'd need to know On a mission sent by the high command, proceed with caution this man's dangerous Double agent works for the other side, get what you can then terminate his life Reached for his lugger but I drew mine first You're a better man than I were his last words You're a better man than I were his last words You're a better man than I were his last words Was I really? I thought about it on my way home, dingy room in a rundown hotel Thought about who I really was, where I am from, where I'm heading to It never really bothered me this way, I guess I got the secret agent blues All this killing's really got me down, I got the secret agent blues I give in just can't stand it no more, I resign Here's my badge and gun But you can't quit like that with us, you're a traitor and must be disposed of They've reached for their weapons but I drew mine first Others will come for you were their last words Others will come for you were their last words Others will come for you were their last words I will be waiting I'm hit up once or twice a week, always different places and faces Getting so tired I can't even sleep, will they ever come for me again So tired of all this running around, getting edgy playing hide and seek Can't take it got to get away but there's no way out but death

THE Best Punk band of all time and THE greatest punk album ever.
I listened to Change Today? More than any other TSOL album in my skate punk days

I love Ron Emorys tunes. That prick made me spend a fortune on chorus and flanger pedals tryin to imitate him
I love TSOL and Jack has to be one of the greatest voices in all of punk rock.
That was fantastic. It was one of my favorites back in 1981....
Joe wood put out some amazing blues albums.. I love that Ron went in a different direction with TSOL ..anything the dude plays is golden ...

Such an epic narrative.
Ron Emory is ageless
So glad I nabbed one of those guitar before they were out of production
This is such a cool version of this song

TSOL KILLS
We met two men from other sides, on a walk down by the river side
Trigger finger itching to see some action, he would tell me what I'd need to know
On a mission sent by the high command, proceed with caution this man's dangerous
Double agent works for the other side, get what you can then terminate his life
Reached for his lugger but I drew mine first
You're a better man than I were his last words
You're a better man than I were his last words
You're a better man than I were his last words
Was I really?
I thought about it on my way home, dingy room in a rundown hotel
Thought about who I really was, where I am from, where I'm heading to
It never really bothered me this way, I guess I got the secret agent blues
All this killing's really got me down, I got the secret agent blues
I give in just can't stand it no more, I resign
Here's my badge and gun
But you can't quit like that with us, you're a traitor and must be disposed of
They've reached for their weapons but I drew mine first
Others will come for you were their last words
Others will come for you were their last words
Others will come for you were their last words
I will be waiting
I'm hit up once or twice a week, always different places and faces
Getting so tired I can't even sleep, will they ever come for me again
So tired of all this running around, getting edgy playing hide and seek
Can't take it got to get away but there's no way out but death
I wanna hit that like button. But we need to leave it at 666.
Now let's see em to code blue for fender :)
HOLY SHI T
They should go incognito to various coffee shops and open mics to mess with people...
😍🥰😎👍🏼
Chingón Tijuana
Should've played code blue
Hahaha all the punks were thinking that
he kind of sings like Charles Nelson Reilly
People tend to dismiss Charles Nelson Rielly. When in fact, if you look back at his work, he was a very talented man. Funny as hell too.

Eh I’ll always miss the Joe Wood TSOL - punk after teen years sucks and looks really really bad
Lol man, each to their own, but... really? ...
